There was also things not showed of Chris and Becca. ;) His dad even noticed "something." All my opinion but no way Chris was "definitive" in his decision with Whit. Does not matter now and I don't see them making it long term anyway. At least not on the farm. Time will tell and wish Whit well.

I actually thought that on the LCD, Becca gave Chris the clarity that he needed to move forward with Whitney confidently.  Becca, rightly, expressed concerns about what would happen if she moved to Arlington and wasn't happy.  Whitney was able to get beyond that concern because she was already in love with Chris.  There were lots of scenes with Chris and Whitney that weren't shown - their time together on the two group dates in which he gave Whitney the GDR as an example - IMO, those scenes would have shown a relationship that was growing and deepening.

Exactly. They had a show to put on so there was more emphasis on the drama and with Becca. I think Chris knew there was something good going on with Whitney from early on.

Re: what his dad said about Becca. We always see at least one member of the family seeming to side with the f2 in some way. I remember first noticing it in Trista's season. Everyone loved Charlie and only one seemed to think Trista preferred Ryan. The producers are very well versed in getting the comments that they want.

But his dad did not say he was fond of becca but..... Chris wanted her. ;) Big difference. IMO

Look I like Whit and wish her well. I saw that she was back in Chicago. Makes me wonder. I just don't see it lasting but time will tell.

She's back in Chicago for an interview. He's dancing non stop, she's interviewing and possibly working a bit. They are mature, career driven people. It's work. People travel for work, it doesn't mean their relationship is doomed.

I didn't say their relationship was doomed because she was in Chicago, just was wondering. ;) Things that make you say hmmmm. It is strange to me they are not together and I am sure I am not alone. JMHO but there are plenty of other reasons I believe they won't make it, but I wish them well. Again all in my opinion and "time will tell." LOL

Whitney has to travel back to Chicago from work. It has nothing to do with their relationship.

The term "doomed" was just a phrase, sorry. I married my husband and 2 weeks later he started traveling for work. We have been married for 38 years. I just think that there is way too much emphasis made on their work travel. We live in a world now where people work in many places, and in many ways ie. remotely, at the office, in coffee shops in my city etc. So when I look at Whitney and Chris and what they are currently doing I think they are like so many people in the world, making it work unconventionally. Of course I need to add that this is JMHO

I am happy Whit is not rushing to quit her job. Again, I see many other things that give me pause. I know I am not alone, and respect everyone's opinion. I think Chris is going through the motions but JMO. I wish Whit well.

I am interested in the snips of Chris's personality that we have seen online and during the show. I have the feeling that there is much more to him than we have seen. Frankly, I am fascinated with the farm lifestyle, the relationships, social relationships that kind of thing. I think we got a homogenized version. ;)

They slice and dice and edit alot. so Chris's father's statement could have been. "But Chris wants Becca .... to be on the same page...or to be further along with her feelings for this process." but it was CUT at " Chris wants Becca". The bachelor Bubble is widespread, not only contained to the contestants., but the families as well. imo , And I agree there is always one parent who favors the F2 and speaks better of them. It's exactly what the producers want to throw the viewers off and create doubt as to who the F1 will be. The parents already know before that MTP date who their son/daughter is picking. :Nod: jmo In the end we all wish them well and only time will tell if they make it in the real world .

No, I don't think his parents knew. JMO I think he was torn and they knew it. I think some of the girls knew also.
