I think it could cause a strain too, but it's definitely smart until they're at least married or expecting. No point giving up a career until you're 100% sure it's gonna work out. I do wonder if some doubts have arisen in Whitney though. She flat out said in some interview that she has no plans of quitting her job. That's not the impression I got during the show.

For me the biggest concern is does Chris truly love her? I fear he may have convinced himself that he does, because it was all so easy and convenient with her, but now they've been out of the bubble for a while not seeing each other much. Oh well, we'll see.

I think the Chicago apartment is just smart. Chris says he goes there a lot. And it's not like she rents, she owns it. And in the interview she says she won't quit her job until they have a family. And that also makes 100% sense to me. Why sit around if you have no kid to take care of.

^ And while she did not quit her job, she did transition to a new role that can be done remotely and gives her a lot more flexibility than being anchored in Chicago where she is expected to go the clinic every day to work, while he's in Iowa

It is a 2-bed room penthouse condo. She got a great deal on it and could sell it at a great profit given the market comps. If they can afford it, it would be nice to hold on to for a city get away but they would be wise to sell it or rent it out. Whitney has lovely taste and it will be interesting to see how she converts Chris's bach home as he said he was waiting for his wife to do the decorating.

Definitely will cause a strain. IMO I am glad to hear whit is not rushing off to the farm. I think she changed her tune from when she was on the show and I am glad. She needs to get to know him in the "real world" before she makes a big move like that. It is almost a lifestyle change. IMO Again, time will definitely tell. ;)

I remember watching Sean and Catherine just as awkward towards each other at this state. Anyway, as all Bachelor show couples before them, Chris and Whitney are still getting to know one another and will eventually figure out if it's a real match or not. I'm hopeful.

It seems she said the right things on the show, but is now playing out the truth that Becca spoke. SHe was all about ready to move, give up her job and start making babies.
But the reality is exactly what realistic Becca said on the show.
And to top it all off, they both are in LA and not on the farm in Iowa. Good riddance to them both I say.

She said shed quit to have a family on the show. She isn't pregnant so why quit already?

Perhaps we can all agree on one thing: none of us really know what's in their hearts or minds. We can think they are or are not in love but we can't "know". Are they going to have a tough time at making it ago? Of course just like all of the couples. DWTS may be the worst thing to do or turn out just fine. The way I look at it is that Whitney didn't have to change her type of job yet and could have stayed in Chicago with just coming to L.A. on weekends. If there were problems between them she could have easily done that yet she didn't. So for me it's all looking good as of right now and only time will tell anything else. :Nod:

I agree See2love it does give one pause. I love JP and Ash and I remember there was not a doubt in my mind they truly loved one another. I saw the love with Seancat and no awkward moments. Oh well, time will tell. ;) Still wishing well and all this is IMO.
