I think he was quite attached to Becca, but I don't believe it was love, as "I want you for a mate."

Season after season this show has ended with the same exact ending - where the lead is conflicted right up until the very last morning of the very last day when they suddenly had a moment of clarity and was - finally - able to resolve their inner conflict and make a decision and picked their F1. IMO this is a preposterous notion but it makes for good TV. IMO the the odds that season after season would just happen to end this very unusual way are virtually non-existent - but the show can and does manufacture this ending in whatever way they have to to get it. The next season of The Bachelorette, whether it be Britt or Kaitlin, will probably end the same way - just different people in the same roles.

This season it just happened that Chris chose Whitney and the conflict at the end was over Becca; same ending, different season, different people, same slimy producers, same over-used story line. IMO The sameness of the story should be a big clue - this is a TV show; this is not reality.

Ladybug, I just looked for it and was not able to find it. I think it was Billy ? that asked the question.

We have all watched Chris during the entire process, and he is a man of good self discipline and as Whitney says, he gives 100%. When Britt left the show, TB told him what they needed him to do and in my opinion he did as asked. Who wouldn't with a gal like Becca. She will be some mans treasure when she is ready to settle down. The other reason I don't believe he was that into her or had any expectations of choosing her, was because of what he said later. "She was in a different stage in her life than Whitney, who was ready to marry and have children".

And, because he takes direction so well, I think he will do well on DWTS. He will do exactly what Witney asks him to do, for he respects authority. A heck of a good man.

Lucas, they really stacked the deck this season with secrets and off kilters. 2 virgins, 2 widows, a Young single Mother, a Playboy bunny, Ashley S. and Britt's self implosion. They really focused on the drama and we didn't see much of the F2 until the last 2 episodes.

Chris and Whit look really good together. I think, they have a good chance of making it long term.
I am happy for Chris for finding a companion who wants the same things he wants.
