Just wanted to give my view upon the outcome!

I do think that Chris was in love with both women, that it wasnt an act. He did say though that was his dad said hurt him because he as he said in his blog: The truth is, at that time, I didn't know what I wanted. And also, any time you take a chance on love, it's a risk, no matter whom it's with. So, I dont buy that it was all Becca. He toutched her in another way but every relationship is different.

I see a lot of similarities with Des/Brooks/Chris. Chris was the one that was soooo perfect for her (so alike) but she was so blinded by Brooks that she almost missed out of the love of her life. When he was gone she could se that and now she is soooo happy. Chris H said: She is so perfect for Chris it was almost hard for him to see it.

Chris wrote that the thing that almost hurt the most was the lack of emotions in Beccas eyes during the rejection. I am so happy that they didnt end up together. IF you have the same feeling for both women, why go with the one that doesnt want the life you want when you want it. Thats not going for the one thats safe in my opinion. That is being smart and looking out for yourself. IF he wouldnt have been in love with Whitney then it would have been dumb, BUT he was in love with her too.

My experience in life is that it is not true that as long as you are with the one you love you are happy anywhere. Love is not always enough, no matter how strong it is (and Becca wasnt there). If you cant get your other really important needs fulfilled its really hard to get a relationship to work even with the greatest love. IF he had the same feelings for both why would he then go for the one where he would end up in the same situation like with his ex? Long distance relationship? I think he absolutely made the smartest choice for all three, I believe they will all be happy. :cutesmile!:

I agree with you. I think ended up with the one that worked for him better. As you said 'Becca wasnt there'. She will find her man and I am sure there are going to be people checking up on her all the time and let us all know what she is doing. :yes:

I have to agree - that was one of the most special dates I've ever seen on this series. I'll grant that it was a set-up - the producers arranged the crash, I believe Whitney knew it was OK to crash the wedding but Chris probably did not know that. IMO the producers also knew more about Whitney than Whitney knows about herself (the result of a lengthy series of psychological profile tests that everyone is subjected to) and they knew that compared to what Chris said he wanted, Whitney was the best match and that date with Whitney could probably become a tipping point for the season if they connected.

They always will cast filler and drama contestants. They certainly knew about Jade and that it would make good TV, but not necessarily a good match for Chris. They also knew about Becca, and Kaitlin, and Britt, and everyone else on the season. They knew what each was looking for, what each was ready for, and what each wasn't looking for or ready for. This is what they do and while IMO they are slime, this they do well. They created a situation where Whitney could be in her best element, "roll the cob" and make an impression on Chris and indeed she did exactly that and you could see this in clearly in Chris.

The reason I believe the Becca deal was false was what he said in a recent interview. They asked, if she had told you she loved you, would it have made any difference? His answer was an emphatic "NO".
I think he was quite attached to Becca, but I don't believe it was love, as "I want you for a mate."

Des and Chris S. wanted people that they couldn't have. There's something attractive about the chase. It blinded them from the real deal (Chris and Whitney). Thankfully they both ended up with the right people.

Whitney looking like a Cali girl already. Glasses on her head and flips flops in March.

Lucas, they really stacked the deck this season with secrets and off kilters. 2 virgins, 2 widows, a Young single Mother, a Playboy bunny, Ashley S. and Britt's self implosion. They really focused on the drama and we didn't see much of the F2 until the last 2 episodes.

I've never re-watched a finale or proposal of this show and I am a huge fan. Never been invested in any of these couples really. But I decided to go back and re-watch this one to try and see what all of the Becca lovers saw. So, the MTP dates...When the dates are over and the couples are going to leave...re-watch those. He kissed Whitney three times after he put her in the vehicle. He put Becca in the vehicle said goodbye and closed the door. Now, that could be editing...but I'm not so sure.

On the LCD....during Whitney & Chris's "deep" conversation he is playing with her hand and they zoom in on him playing with the ring on her finger, just thought that was interesting...given what he's said about when he picked out the ring and thinking it fit her.

I've decided that I think he is the kind of person that gives what the other needs. With Britt, she was touchy feely so "they" were a touchy feely couple. With Becca he had to lead the relationship...she wasn't going to. But with Whitney it just seems to be natural for them. Yes, in many instances Whitney led the physicality of the relationship, but if you watch...she isn't climbing all over him either. She kisses him when she sees him, kisses him when she leaves him and maybe a few times in between. She doesn't appear to need the constant hand holding, constant touching that others have needed. Which falls in line with what I'm seeing post show.

So...in conclusion...I really looked for what the Becca lovers were saying they saw and I just don't see it. I tried...but then when I watched their interactions compared to Whitney & Chris's...it's just completely opposite. I see a comfortable, easy, relationship that isn't WORK for either of them. It just "is". I think with Becca he'd have his work cut out for him to try to get her to love him. There's enough other work that goes into building a relationship...
