And this is precisely why I am shaking my head at her doing a sit down interview with CH. She has no idea how poorly she comes across, even with tears, even with a mea culpa.  

I am sure Andi just didn't call TPTB up saying she wanted to do an interview.  It was probably in the contract she signed that if they wanted her to do an interview that she had no choice.  But no matter what she does people will condemn her for it.  I really don't think Andi wants to put herself out there and have to admit that she failed at making the relationship work.  I really feel that Andi loved Josh very much and wanted this relationship to work.  But we will all have different opinions on Andi and people will see what they want to see without knowing the real person.

I think that interview with Emily was a set up for her to be the next puppet.

I think TPTB wanted this interview because everyone thought that these 2 would make it.  So when they didn't they want to know why.

From the episode description of the Chris Tells all, with everything he is supposed to discuss, and IIRC, outtakes, the continuing saga of the amazing Kelsey saga, and Andi, I don't see how the Andi interview is going to get that much time. Almost seems like they couldn't get Chris to 'tell" enough to fill an hour and they decided to tack on the controversial Kelsey and a few minutes of the MeAndi sob story.

To be honest, I don't remember anything about that interview. I was never "in like" with Emily. 
What I can tell you is if they wanted him there and he was contracted, he would have been there. 
If they want a televised "whatever", it happens and if they don't, it won't. They do what suits their purposes and make their contracts to indicate such.
So if it served their purpose to have an interview with Miss M to help move her into 'Ette position, then that's what they did. Brad would have been disposable at that point. 
When they had both Jake and Vienna--that was simply for ratings drama--think of mud wrestling.
