I don't understand why these two things are being compared. It's not like they blew off the engagement to go party in Vegas for a paid appearance. They were at a family wedding, an event for which they would have RSVP'd months ago. And sure, they absolutely could have made the trip -- no one's claiming that it wasn't logistically possible. We just don't know why they weren't there. Maybe they weren't invited. Maybe they think it's weird to have the whole family hanging around for the proposal, and that's what engagement parties are supposed to be for. The one thing we do know is that they didn't miss a family event strictly so they could make a few bucks and extend their 15 minutes.

Please bear with me as it seems my memory may be failing. When was it conclusively determined that other family members are NOT somehow at fault? I must have missed someone from the Murray/McDonnell families confirming that Andi and Josh were invited to the engagement but chose not to attend.

It's being compared because the proposal party was Friday and the wedding was Saturday. They've gone out of town for a day before, I'm sure they could've managed. I like Andi and Josh, but it's obvious there's some family drama brewing between both couples.

Like I wrote a few comments above, it's been pretty darn clear that even while the season was airing around hometowns, Kacie was not happy that Andi would become a Murray and would be joining the Murray family. According to Kacie, she wants to remain number one in that family. There's a lot of possible reasons. Not just that Andi and Josh snubbed Aaron.

Kacie didn't attend that game, but she attended every other one.

IMO, it's very possible Kacie knew what was happening and didn't want Josh or Andi there. I'm all for speculating, but I don't think it all has to do with Josh and Andi snubbing Aaron's proposal. It's quite possible either Kacie told him she didn't want them there or Aaron knew she wouldn't want them there.

Josh seemed to have cut ties with her on SM during the season when Kacie was favoriting some not so nice things about Andi.

I find it interesting how many are quick to say Josh and Andi snubbed Aaron and Kacie's engagement (for going to a family wedding no less), yet only Ash has mentioned the fact that Kacie didn't go to the KC/Panthers game with the rest of the family. It sure appears suspect that she chose not to attend that game with Andi and Josh and the Murrays when she has attended all the others, especially since that was a game Aaron was expected to get a good amount of playing time in (and he scored his first TD)!.  She may have had a very valid reason, we can only speculate. But that was her best opportunity to meet Andi, see the Murrays including the grandpa, and she chose not to. Just my opinion but I don't think that should be ignored if people are going to be so quick to blame Josh and Andi.
