Re: Andi Dorfman & Josh Murray - Bachelorette 10 - General Discussion #2
As someone posted to Lauren on either FB or twitter - did you think Aaron would let Josh have the spotlight for much longer? I don't really want to judge, but there is a shift in popularity. In the news Josh was known as Aaron's big brother. Now Aaron is known as Josh's little brother. So there is a bit of role reversal going on here. Whether it has to do with Josh's non attendance at the engagement? I really don't know.

I think the role reversal is only if you follow TB and are in that bubble. So a "shift" would be subjective.
I guess what I see is if they can take a few hours to fly to AC which has turned into casinoland non grata, they can jet off to KC for a few hours. OOps, but one has them making a few bucks and extending their 15 mins and the other not so much.
Again, it all boils down to what they want. Nothing wrong with that.

Well apparently a lot of people are in that bubble, because Josh is more popular in social media and people take more fan pics with him than Aaron - at least from what I see on SM.

So true Kasha...it all boils down to what they want. No need to sugarcoat their choices or make it seem that other family members are somehow at fault. After all, Josh is a grown ass man and does what he wants!Kashathediva wrote:I think the role reversal is only if you follow TB and are in that bubble. So a "shift" would be subjective.

There are a lot of people that are not into sm. There are a lot of people who follow football/sports who don't follow TB. There are a lot of people who don't follow TB, sm or sports!
We can take these kind of statements into the stratosphere ad infinitum. The bottom line is people are into all different kinds of things and I see the term popularity as being subjective as according to what you are or aren't into.
Unless you are trying to stay in the limelight and/or earn your living from such, most are not concerned with popularity/notoriety.
Again, variety is what makes the world go round.

Re: Andi Dorfman & Josh Murray - Bachelorette 10 - General Discussion #2
Kacie was dressed to the nines that night with that white fancy dress and so was everyone else. She knew for weeks beforehand that the Murray's and her family would be flying out to KC. On Twitter she was teasing Aaron about putting a ring on it because she moved away from Philly for him. She can say it was a surprise all she wants, but I would be shocked if she didn't know what was coming.
Like I've said a billion times before, it was pretty clear during the season that Kacie wasn't a fan of Andi or the idea that Andi would be a Murray. Kacie really liked the idea that she would "always be number one in the Murray household." The whole family got together for the KC vs Panthers game including Andi and Josh. Kacie didn't attend that game, but she attended every other one.
IMO, it's very possible Kacie knew what was happening and didn't want Josh or Andi there. I'm all for speculating, but I don't think it all has to do with Josh and Andi snubbing Aaron's proposal. It's quite possible either Kacie told him she didn't want them there or Aaron knew she wouldn't want them there.
Josh seemed to have cut ties with her on SM during the season when Kacie was favoriting some not so nice things about Andi.

Great points. you could have the right scenario! That would be shocking to some! Bottom line is they are family and will either work it out or not. All couples are happy and that is all that matters

I read the above quickly and came away with:
all couples are in therapy and that is all that matters
and said to myself: Damn! Nailed it, pegged it. You go!
Just an insight to how I think.
Not much shocks me.

I really do believe that this perhaps the most plausible scenario. I'm just not buying Kacie's perfect, sweet girl persona.

I don't understand why these two things are being compared. It's not like they blew off the engagement to go party in Vegas for a paid appearance. They were at a family wedding, an event for which they would have RSVP'd months ago. And sure, they absolutely could have made the trip -- no one's claiming that it wasn't logistically possible. We just don't know why they weren't there. Maybe they weren't invited. Maybe they think it's weird to have the whole family hanging around for the proposal, and that's what engagement parties are supposed to be for. The one thing we do know is that they didn't miss a family event strictly so they could make a few bucks and extend their 15 minutes.Kashathediva wrote:I guess what I see is if they can take a few hours to fly to AC which has turned into casinoland non grata, they can jet off to KC for a few hours. Please bear with me as it seems my memory may be failing. When was it conclusively determined that other family members are NOT somehow at fault? I must have missed someone from the Murray/McDonnell families confirming that Andi and Josh were invited to the engagement but chose not to attend.FLChica wrote:So true Kasha...it all boils down to what they want. It all boils down to this if you don't like Andi/Josh it's all their fault if you like them it's not their fault..... I am a firm believer that it's someway in the middle.....

It's being compared because the proposal party was Friday and the wedding was Saturday. They've gone out of town for a day before, I'm sure they could've managed. I like Andi and Josh, but it's obvious there's some family drama brewing between both couples.
