It is incredibly formulaic. I happened to start watching TBCanada and Tim is all "connection, connection, connection", "strong feelings", "doubts", etc., etc. It is all the same script/formula. I agree that the only true difference in all of this is a more scandalous occupation for TBAU season 2. However, it is this very difference that makes it seem as if Blake lives a double life in reality, not just in scripted-reality. So, for me, that makes it veer off the traditional path of the formulaic TB franchises. Channel10/Shine just took a greater risk choosing him. But, as many have stated on here, they needed the ratings... perhaps that was why he was a better candidate to bring those about due to his more scandalous occupation (if they were aware, that is).

Oh, they were aware. Have no doubt about that. In the US they do extensive psychological testing and they know these people better than they know themselves. Not just the cast but the leads too. Between that, the crazy contract they sign that allows producers to do whatever with their edits...even if not true and the manipulations that go on during filming, I am always amazed anyone even wants to do this show and yet they do. I could say that the Aussies are still naïve in the ways of the Bachelor since I believe this is only the second season, but the US version has been around for 25+ seasons and still they come. Every season seems more over the top and crazy and portrays people in a worse manner and yet, they keep on applying and if they are stupid enough to do so, then I don't feel bad for making fun of them.
You could be the juiciest, most ripe peach, but there is still going to be someone who doesn't like peaches.

I wish I could muster up some happiness for Louise if the rumours are true... but alas, it is not so. If any of it is true, the way Blake and Louise have gone about it does not bode well for their future. It would be so easy to just flat out deny or confirm the rumours and move on with your lives.
Their continual dodging and evasiveness only makes them seem shady/sneaky (Sam's feelings taken into account or not, he already dumped her!).
Other than they are waiting on some big money to come in and cause them to confirm the rumours, I have little patience with dragging this on. Would have been better to just rip the bandaid/plaster off in one go and Blake say, yes there is someone else, I messed up - End of. Not doing so makes me frustrated with the both of them.
Louise/Blake: Use your SM and just say: It is not true. It is true. Done. Move on.
(And stop bringing your mothers into this debacle. Speak for yourselves. :babies:

I forgot which interview I read but it said Louise and Blake are in contact and it's so obvious at the same time. If they are indeed together.. They wouldn't announce it now but later when everything does down. PS They are rejecting Sam's text messages so what does that have to say? And they aren't denying it

I'd say they are trying to work out what they want and how serious it is before going public. They know there will be a backlash towards them as a couple so I think they are probably working on being the strongest they can be.
