If there's one thing I cannot stand is Jason's blaming producers with his actions. It was his decision & he still works with them.  All I do know is that they actually handled it better than the AU has as they made him tell Melissa himself.

didn't they make jason talk to melissa only at aftr? i think that's cruel and insensitive of the show. i think it's good that he spoke to her in person to break up.

Maybe the FS does seve some sort of positive purpose. If Blake had been away from cameras with Sam she may have seen his disconnectedness then and bailed

I think they had spoken on the phone but he had not told her about Molly?

reading back blake's interview -- i dunno he seems heartbroken at letting go of that many women -- of letting go of a beautiful person like sam -- maybe he *is* gay he seems a bit tortured...

“It’s not necessarily something that’s gone wrong. It’s just a general feeling. You just know something’s not quite right.”
On how Blake broke the news to Sam:
“We met up in person and just talked over it.
“When you have that time together and you feel that it’s not quite right, you have to listen to your heart. You have to trust your gut and that’s what I’ve done and that’s why I’m in this position now. “

oh ok right exactly! i think that was cruel to use that as show fodder -- i prefer they take care of it privately -- explaining it to the public sure they have to but not breaking up in front. maybe tbau took a cue from what happened with vienna and jake and wanted to stay away from that... for brad + emily it was an emily only interview...this was kind of in between they prolly have their own agenda anyway for sam

My biggest issue with his interview is he doesn't once say anything about anyone else's feelings but his own. The other girls have not shed one tear since the show wrapped. They're all fine. If he had said he felt terrible for dumping Sam I could see some remorse there but he only talks about 'his' broken heart. He dumped her not the other way around. He's either an incredible actor, narcissist, gay/bi as l speculated, or some other issue going on there living in a fantasy world watching the movie of his life's journey with all these women he loves so much. Oddest thing I've ever witnessed... I feel angry and sad at the same time. It's like he never grew up and he's heartbroken all these toys/women are gone. Stand by my thought that he was not emotionally mature or stable enough to handle the format of this show. It's over. He needs to move on with someone he already loves or just get some rest/therapy.

Agreed. 100%. It would have sent alarm bells ringing if he didn't want now intimacy when the cameras were gone and things were intimate between them. And I feel like Sam would have been very understanding if something other than the dynamic between them was at play. She was understanding post proposal of his 'just friends' behaviour...
