i don't think FD/FS was offered -- i think they would have shown the dinner portion at least...there's usually 2 parts to the FD --- day and night -- the dates had each 2 parts so i think they did what they set out to do

The more experienced posters can explain the 'bubble' phenomena but think they would say it is common in franchise and relationships and love only grow with work after the FRC

True! It's a pity I just wish they could get back together! I loved them together! Wish none of this ever happened!! I was totally looking forward to Blake & Sam's Instagram selfies living together like tim and Anna I guess not ahh well SAM STILL LOVED HIM BUT IF ONLY HE FELT THE SAME WAY! She wanted to continue make it WORK but he DIDNT #JACKASS

Agree timing wasn't right but Lisa was in that presidential suite, Louise in that house with the pool, what if they didn't show us for some reason? Seems odd given the drama they can create out of the cards that they were not offered?

Wow....just caught up with y'all's wonderful sleuthing...so Blakey boy turns out to be the ultimate slim shady after all. Can't believe he owns a stripper business. Channel 10 has a mess on their hands for next season. I think the Aussie public might not deliver the same level of ratings going forwards. I won't be surprised if they start begging Tim & Anna to get engaged so they can continue to milk their one success story so far!!!

On Louise, based on how she came across I will be in complete shock if she had anything to do with Blake, but the truth will eventually come out for sure.

they've not done a good job talking about it either one of their people called it a "teacup in a storm" well this is anything but! the aussie public seems to have been very skeptical but started being more open after tim and anna's story...people just seem to say "what did you expect? true love from a tv show??" curious to hear what our aussie boardies think is the general sentiment...because it is it's own market and audience i do think it might start to be seen as a farce show...along the lines of rosie's recaps

Speaking exclusively to Perth Confidential for the first time since the finale aired, he said he simply fell out of love with Frost.

“Sadly Sam and I have parted ways,” he said. “I have so much love, care and respect for her but unfortunately the relationship hasn’t worked.
“As with any break up it’s not only heart-breaking but incredibly disappointing. We have been through an unforgettable experience together which I’ll always cherish.”

Jilted lover Frost hasn’t spoken as favourably of Garvey, the man who has left her “devastated”.

“After many weeks of trying to make it work, unfortunately Blake decided to end our relationship,” Frost said. “I am of course devastated but staying strong and looking forward to eventually finding the one.”

So here is my theory of what went down......

- Blake's definition of love is having 100% support from another person (E.g., Episode 8 + Proposal)
- Blake falls in love with Sam because she supported him the most (Episode 8... "someone who will support me")
- Blake proposes to Sam in which he says "he wanted to find someone who could support me"
- Blake says he "fell out of love" and so what he means is "I no longer felt 100% supported"


Here is why Sam was "devastated/Blake calling all the shots" and Blake "fell out of love/no longer felt 100%" supported":

 


- I believe what Jackie O posted on twitter from an insider was true...


- Sam was watching the show and also seeing Blake making the media rounds and she got upset with what she was seeing (how he was with the girls, and what she probably googled about him. The interview about scandalous/escort+ was probably Blake freaking out that Sam was hearing this and how in the heck was he going to justify these things to her when she already was expressing doubts?

- Sam talked to Blake about her concerns/doubts about how he was with the other girls/media/etc  and this made Blake feel like he was "no longer supported/no longer loved" by Sam and he probably got tired of having to "work it out" with Sam by supporting her/loving her... 

- Blake got tired of having to reassure (aka support Sam) and so he began to check out... He wanted support, he did not want to GIVE support. It was a losing battle for him with Sam since he was on damage control constantly.

- Blake no longer feeling supported by Sam (i.e. no longer feeling loved) since she was doubting him (and his reasons for show/media/googled behavior) led him to no longer feel love for Sam since it was based on her 100% support toward him. He wanted her to support (excuse) how he was on the show with the other girls but Sam didn't see how he could propose to her given how he acted with the other girls.

- If they recently broke up and it was rocky from post-proposal (which is what I believe) I can see how Sam's doubts to Blake early on could lead him to search for the "support/love" from someone else that he saw on the show tell him they loved him (i.e., Louise) but this doesn't mean they are together presently, rather it would make sense for him to reach out to her given she was the only other one who made him feel loved (aka supported). He did say he was in contact with some of the girls post-proposal. Sam must have heard that. Blake could have made it seem inconsequential.

- Blake may have led Sam on, since he had some support now with Louise? or just to milk the money machine/publicity, and even though rocky road, they were set to do ATFR. 

- Sam watches last few episodes and her doubts/discussions with Blake prior to this were even more heightened based on how close it was to the proposal time that he was acting this way with the other girls. She probably told him she was devastated and made it clear that she would do so on ATFR. Blake had convinced Sam enough to do ATFR and post-media prior to the South Africa episodes airing.

- The episodes air and Sam freaks out! All her doubts that Blake had tried to reassure her about are now confirmed... How could he propose??

- Sam is devastated, she loves him but she is NOT okay with things and will be saying so on ATFR. 

- Blake couldn't handle the image of him on camera with Sam questioning his behavior so he bailed on ATFR and totally broke it off with Sam. She wasn't supporting him and he knew she wasn't going to support him 100% if he went onto ATFR.

- Blake saying no to ATFR and breaking off the engagement (even though rocky all along I believe he just checked out of trying to play the game and reassure Sam)  which made Sam tweet about it, the media blackout that is, in that "Blake is calling all the shots here". I believe this was more in reference to no media/no ATFR than the broken engagement. 

- Sam didn't understand how he could not support her when she was going through a hard time dealing with post-show/no-bubble issues, especially toward the end. She obviously talked to him about this...  

- Blake started off supporting Sam.....Remember the "knees" post Sam had on her twitter of someone making fun of her knees and then Blake talking about it in an interview? Sam felt validated then.... but the last episodes that all changed and she couldn't understand the proposal and so she was going to say ON AIR that she loved him, but didn't understand how he could propose to her. 

- Blake couldn't handle Sam's reaction to the final aired episodes and having had to "play the game" with her for so long now was not worth it to him because there was no way he was going to go on air, do ATFR, or shared media with her if she was going to not 100% support him and instead make him look bad. 

- He was tired of him supporting/loving her and not feeling the same response from Sam and then towards the final episode he realized he had more to lose by being seen WITH Sam on ATFR or media. She would bring up the doubts etc, and he was done supporting her. For him, if he didn't get 100% support from Sam then he didn't feel loved and if he didn't feel loved then there was no reason to be with someone since he was not getting what he wanted: 100% support.

This makes sense to me because, as a player who wants to milk the TB cash money machine, he would have just pretended that he was still in love with Sam (and make her constantly feel validated) but he couldn't because he didn't feel she 100% supported him and that is all he wants. 100% support from someone else without him having to do the same.
