Like him or not he does have a daughter and he and Nikki both need to know if she is ready to move to Miami to be with him as that is where is daughter is, so yes, Nikki would need to move.  Everyone on that season knew they would have to move to be with him.

He maybe selfish with the no ILY, but I see the not proposing until they both know they are ready as also being respectful of Nikki's dad.

The bachelor throws around engagement as an agreement to date.  It is not, it should be a commitment to marry and should only be made once someone is sure they are ready for marriage.

In my opinion it is far more selfish to propose because the producers tell you to and then make someone have a broken engagement.

ITA with your entire post!! I don't think JP is a bad person and I don't think that he treats Nikki badly! Nikki is a strong enough person that if JP really did treat her poorly she would be out of there. She even said herself that she would only be there if she wanted to. I would rather someone not tell me they love me until he was absolutely sure about it instead of telling me because he felt he had to to keep me around!!! These two have been through ALOT and are still together. We don't know 100% that JP hasn't said "I love you" to Nikki in private and, even if he hasn't, his actions sure say that he loves her. If they are happy and in love (and it definitely seems that way to me) then who are we to judge? Sorry, it just REALLY bugs me when everyone bashes JP as such a horrible person. REALLY?? With some of the other REALLY, REALLY bad bachelors from the past?? Sorry, stepping down now.

Honestly, I don't think JP even thinks that. I do think that Kiptyn loved Tenley - not in the way that she wanted, but I do think that he deeply cared for her. I think that JP is just having fun with Nikki and enjoying the perks (aka money and fame) that he gets by being with her. I'm sorry, but I don't agree with this. As a single mom in the dating world, I have only introduced my boys to very few men that I have dated. Everyone seems to agree how totally JP loves his daughter. IMO, he would not have Nikki in his daughter's life if he wasn't serious about her.

I'm sorry for my earlier posts if any got offended. I will not be visiting this thread anymore since it seems to have turned into a "hate on JP" thread. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I really am having a very, very hard time with this.

He introduced Nikki to his daughter on their second date though and said in his blog or somewhere after that for him it's no big deal [insert something about Venezuelan culture].

He took backlash for introducing her to Nikki so soon when there were other's remaining, which I don't agree with. How many of them does the child get introduced to, it's crazy. From a sleuthing perspective it was obvious early on Nikki was his choice due to that introduction to Camila and his ex. To this day, there is a very good relationship between them all. From my own experience and I'm sure others, I would have loved that type of interaction with the ex. when my son was young.

It's very difficult to introduce your child to someone else in your life, that's not their parent. IMO they are all handling it perfectly putting Camila's interest first.

Jason introduced Ty to Deanna when she was the bachelorette, he was only 3 yrs old, then again to Melissa and Molly F1/F2. I wish they would leave kids out completely.

Nikki is still in the relationship because it appears she's in love. I get the feeling she has some doubt about his feelings for her that she's pushing away. She's giving him some time but it sounded like there's a deadline for something to happen like her moving to Florida. I'm a skeptic when it comes to Juan Pablo and I'd hate for Nikki to be hurt. It doesn't really matter what he says now about the past and whether he should have said ILY or proposed (I say no if he wasn't feeling it). The proof will be what happens in the next several months. The ball's in your court, JPL.

Very well said albean99. I agree but have to be honest.... I cringe a little thinking the ball is in his court. Wish it was more of an equal relationship.

I need to add that it must hurt Nikki seeing how Josh poured his heart out for Andi, and how Marcus did the same for Lacy. Hope she is okay.

Yes I do agree Juan seems to have a wall up or use to hopefully going on this show helped them through their problems. Time will tell...hoping for the best.

So interesting show tonight. I do think this process will be good for Nikki and JPG. I agreed with Ms. Jersey Shore, I think they are very much still getting to know each other. Nikki very clearly blamed JPG for the actions after the show and not proposing. Just as things he said last week were disturbing, I found her saying the media outlash was all his fault was a little interesting. I always thought she supported the no proposal or ILY, but she sounded a bit accusing tonight. She has the right to feel whatever she wants, but I can see they are both getting their little moments in. There is real caring there, but there is also a need for them to let go of this stuff and open up to each other.

As for other couples, Cecily bugged me. She entered a relationship with a man who was in a relationship and then blames him for it. When you chose to help someone cheat, you are a cheater too and blaming someone else solely for that is not fair. I also thought her threat to move the kids was very manipulative. Don't like her at all.

Jenna is all sorts of manipulative and mean. I can't blame any man for leaving her and breaking up. I also didn't understand had their exes been cheating or just got together after the break up? Also why is that somewhat normal man doing with her? She was hot, but now she is just mean and skanky and very manipulative.

Jenna Jameson needs to clean up. I'm sure she's there for drama, but her behavior is really low life like, regardless of the money she made. She thinks money buys "class". WOW.

Part of me feels badly that I'm judgmental and saying Ewwwwww to Jenna. But she looks in her sixties, instead of forty. She thinks that because her financial person invested for her wisely(made 36 million), that makes her smart*. To me, she looks as though she's on drugs, and way too thin, and the tattoos....I'm speechless. She really needs HELP.

JPG and Nikki? I see Nikki displacing her anger onto the viewers. It's obvious that deep down she's bothered that her ILY is not reciprocated, and she thinks it's the fans fault for bugging them/her. Another WOW.
