If this show works like other reality TV shows there will almost have to be some "victory" attributable to going through the process, otherwise it's hard to promote the show as "real" and a legitimate mechanism to improve relationships. Just how far this will go I haven't a clue.

There seems to be some sort of barrier that stops progress between these two; the resistence to say ILY to Nikki is one sign of that that as is a lack of any plans to move to the same city (either JPG to KC or Nikki to Miami). As long as Nikki is a fun date to go on vacation with or a built in partner to go on a TV show with JPG seems fine - but he stops short of making any sort of meaningful commitment to their relationship. How well defined that barrier is may well determine how far their relationship progresses during this show.

JuanPa wasn't a bad lead because he was unwilling to play TPTB's games. He was a bad lead because he's a jerk who sucked at communicating, had endless excuses for his behavior, and treated some of the girls poorly.

100%. I think this is all that needs to be said. Plus, lets not forget, wasn't there some some things floating around that Juan Pablo was going to propose to Nikki on the ATFR and once he found out he wasn't going to be on DWTS he backed out of it because he was pissed and felt like it was productions fault? That man would have gladly played along with their games if he got everything his way, which he clearly did not.

No Juan never said he was going to propose to Nikki at the AFTC.

One thing I will never understand is why people follow contestants that they do not like and say some of the most cruel things about a person they have never met. I do not like Andi think she is the worst ette this show has had. I was a huge fan of Sean till he became a famewhore . I do not follow these people or post about them due to the fact I do not care about them. I really just do not understand the hatred towards Juan or Nikki what have they done to you ? If they bother you so much why follow them ?

^I don't follow JuanPa/Nikki. I do watch Couples Therapy as I have most other seasons of that show. They are on this season therefore I comment on them. If these two don't want people to comment on them, they should've stayed off t.v. You become a public figure and you ask for people to have an opinion on you and then they are free to share said opinion.

^ I'm not a fan of Juan Pablo. I did watch his season like I have been watching the Bachelor and Bachelorette since Sean's season. I've liked every other lead besides him for various reasons. I don't follow him on social media. I watched 15 minutes of Couples Therapy and could see he was just as pompous, ignorant, rude etc. as he was when he was the bachelor. I can freely state how I feel about him without having to follow his every move. I don't see anything wrong with making comments about someone you don't like.

Like the person stated above me, they could have done legitimate couples therapy behind close doors. They chose to do it on television. By doing so it freely opens them up to criticism from people and not just on this board.

You have made several comments on the Fan thread of Juan and Nikki so I just thought you followed them because these were said before the CT ever aired. You are right everyone has a right to their opinion I just do not understand the hatred towards this couple. But that is just me....

^I also read plenty of gossip sites and blogs so I will see mentions of them there as well. I don't follow them on social media. I couldn't even tell you what their handles are. Besides blogs/sites, plenty of people talk about them here in places other than their fan threads so I get info by reading those posts too.

Sean is currently working on his book which is due out in January. He also is an investor in several Dallas area start-up companies. He works with various youth groups as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up becoming a youth minister/mentor.
