And yet, John and Jenna have broken up before JPG and Nikki, so congrats John you making fun of JPG worked out well.

I think Treach was the best of the men on the show and the most willing to try and work on his issues. Go Treach, he and Cecily are still together.

My personal opinion, I don't really care about most of these people and won't watch this show again.

It was at least good that all the couples were finally real with each other.

I liked Chris and Deena despite their limited screentime. Dick is a likable "softie" under all of his tattoos. However, we all can see clearly that he was there for a solo visit rather than a "couples" visit. Stephanie was his cardboard escort.

I am surprised Jenna and John are separated since there was no hint of it on the show. Then again, it did look like John was gradually "hardening" and drifting away from her. Early in the show, he was hugging her more and giving her support, but a little Jenna goes a long-long way. Even at the cemetery, it was still "all about me". I probably know less about John than I do Stephanie, since each of their partners hogged up the show's focus.

Juan and Nikki looked totally exhausted after convincing viewers they were a "legit" couple. Nikki is not stupid. She realized their relationship was... well... kinda fake... since I can't come up with a better word. I think back at Clare mouthing off at him at Final Rose Ceremony and the impression was that she had wasted two months "putting all my eggs in one basket" for a guy who didn't give a %$#@. (Thanks to her experience with Juan, she didn't give Zack a chance on BiP the very moment he started to look unfocused.) Nikki, on the other hand, seemed determined to turn the "relationship" into a Relationship as if she was forcing a baby to get over a cough or making sure all of the scum is cleaned off the shower soap dish. The way she talked in interviews was as if she and Juan together was another "job" to accomplish.

With that said, she DID look very happy with the ring. This proves what we all have realized over time... Juan is not a "bad" person at all. He does care for her... and is still a great daddy for Camilla. He just isn't ready for a husband/longterm partner role.

In a curious way, Juan and Nikki remind me of many couples in "Middle" America before the 1960s, when probably half of them were desperately needing to be accepted in society. While many husbands and wives were "soul mates" very much in love, there were a great many others who simply viewed marriage as another "job" since divorce was a no-no, babies out of wedlock was a no-no and any desires that weren't "heterosexual" were kept hidden in the closet. Today... with all of the opportunities available to be your self and do what makes YOU happy... these two are all the more frustrating to watch.

... except when they snuggled a bit and she told him he looked cute.


As for Treach and Cicely... I think they will stay together for the other "established" reason: "for the sake of the family". Unless he gets his anger issues under control (since Cicely is clearly not the one with a problem here), they won't last.

Not only did JPG get her the ring, but took the time to notice what she liked and found what she liked. When did we see Nikki looking or trying to do anything to make JPG happy?

Sadly, I think on BiP that Clare gave up to easily and way to harsh on Zack. Life isn't a fairytale, if you turn tail and run whenever things are hard you will not get far. Was Zack Clare's forever, probably not, but at the same time you actually have to try to talk out problems, just not run when you don't hear the words you want.

I think JPG needs an independent woman who can be happy with the time and attention he can give. I thought Nikki could be that, but she is not who I thought she was. Thanks TPTB, you tricked me again. I guess, I am someone who likes my independence too, so I get it. I adore my husband (love him too!), but without time on my own I would throttle him or really anyone else.

I don't blame John for the end, I think Jenna needs real serious counseling before she will ever be ready for any type of relationship, but please, talk about engagements too fast.

Treach said he was willing and would do anger management counseling. I have hope for him and Cecily, but then again, I would have thrown Cecily out years ago. Women who start dating a man who is in a relationship or married then complain if they are not faithful, are a pet peeve of mine. It was great for him to be a cheater for you, but some how you are a magical fairy princess who he is going to be faithful too? Sorry, but if someone is willing to cheat, usually IMO, they will cheat again.

Ha ha! You can tell that I never quite understood "what went wrong" with the whole Clare and Zack BiP business since she spazzed out so abruptly and unexpectedly. Either something was definitely left on the editing floor that we were not privy to or she really DID go bonkers over his "too fast too soon" talk (or got bit by a raccoon). Odder still is how friendly they behaved (and still do) post-show.

Then again, she was always "cozier" to Michelle Money and he with Robert, much as Nikki seems "cozier" with Andi than Juan... and Juan with the camera lens than Nikki. The very moment that Juan agreed with Cecily's assessment of Andi over a magazine article, all hell broke loose.

So what do we all know? We will never understand any of these on screen relationships.

Yet Nikki repeatedly sided with Andi and JPG took it.

Yeah... she even told Dr. Jenn that she agreed with Andi's opinion about him: Juan is all about Juan. Then again, she rarely complimented him. The focus was always about his faults.

It was a strange relationship... or "relationship" (since I am still on the fence determining if it was much of one at all). Although I am nitpicky about two people on a silly TV show whom I don't know personally, it can be all-too-obvious on a TV screen when two people look so UN-happy together.
