I have to say I admire Nick's staying calm and classy when he's being called so many ugly names on SM and even here. That's something I need to learn   

This is why I post so rarely here and tend to not venture to many threads. Aside from the fact that I've never taken any part of this franchise particularly seriously, I find the intensity at times just ridiculous. At this point the season is over, it's done, move the hell on.

I am so guilty of this. I tried avoiding all things Andi, but hearing about her favoring the tweet Marcus made about Nick, I caved. I just still don't like Andi at all. I see a spoiled little princess. At least now the discussion isn't all about Nick. I finally have people discussing Andi.

I love the pic of Nick. I like him more and more after the show.

I was trying to post from my phone, but my poor wi-fi kept "eating" my messages ... so I sneaked my laptop into my bedroom (any electronic device at my parent's house, where I'm currently staying, isn't allowed near the bed) ... and I'll try to type silently   
First to all the posters of the "amazing discussion" ... thank you, it was a pleasure reaffirming how much I adore you, agree with and most of the times I don't even need to write, because you said it all: my 2 cats, stuck and Catd, sdmom, Kasha ... great ideas ...  
I was intrigued to chip in for a moment, but then I saw where the conversation has turned ... Does anyone want to guess? ... well, as promised, I won't waste any of my time on Andi, so from today, for me her name is ignored ... if anyone has a problem with it ... we can discuss in private, but I'll might be away a lot from this board cause of my personal life and won't be able to respond in time. But sometimes I do wonder if for my curious mind of personal characteristics, traits, personalities, psychology, motivations, ... if I've chosen the wrong board ...since I would love to talk about all of them, without being limited to the love-stories that people feel so attached to. If there is a thread, please let me know ...
and yes, I would love to join the rest of you who watch that new show of newlyweds ... but unfortunately timing isn't right for me, I have some things to resolve first and that keeps me away from most of my free-spirited-pastime, I'm even afraid I won't be able to indulge in my new hobby anymore, golf I mean, just when I've started to enjoy kicking those balls, so I hope this time passes fast and when I'll return to this thread, you will still be drooling ... khmm, singing happy songs.

Nick oh Nick ... is always lovely to see new pics, don't mind the old ones either ...
if you read this ... no need to post a selfie everyday ... but a part of Chicago (or a body) would be nice ... I love seeing places I haven't visited, so it elevates my desire ...  

Nice contribution to the society tho' ... even in small circle, venue, but sometimes helping one is all that you can do ... and it's already a lot ... and sometimes you help many without even knowing... so, great gesture, good cause, I really hope the woman protagonist of the story will successfully battle her cancer (literally and metaphorically), kick it and done with it for good. Wish her well, wish you a success in raising money and wish all those fans to be able to make it to the scheduled place ...
but sorry if I laugh for our Cecilia ... my heart just breaks for you - and I can't even say it with a straight face - but seriously, this "faith" is playing games with you.

Missed anything else ... oh yeah ... the forum's matchmakers ... It's been interesting to read you ... I prefer to stay quiet on the matter, because I feel too similar to Nick and subsequently also very similar to Shar ... and it's been very insightful to read some thoughts on their personalities   (btw, NR, you're right on the flaw, indecisiveness is killing me too, and I always "blamed" it on my astro-sign of libra, but I know that's not the only reason, it's just too much time consuming to wrap the brains around option A, B, C before deciding, but once the decision is made, I can be quite stubborn even with my mistakes)

This one reminds me of my other fav: Drew with his sister. Drew is so different from Nick and I love them both! Now Drew is happy with Amy L and I hope one day we will see Nick with his own beautiful lady.

I know. However, I really enjoyed the discussion of strong women then Nick's name had to be be dragged into the conversation..

Anyway, that makes me think:
What make a man manly?
I've heard that people say Chris is a manly man. I don't see enough of him to make any comments, but is it because one's built, looks or profession? Can a man be vulnerable and still manly? When a man is heartbroken, do we expect him to move on faster than a woman, because he is manly?
Is Nick a manly man?
I would say YES, because :
-He's not afraid of making fun of himself (just read his SM)
-He owned up to his mistakes
-He's said he will take full responsibility of what he's said/done
-He doesn't hold grudges (always praising Josh and wish them well in all his interviews)
-He's not frazzled by name calling on SM

He's not afraid to show his emotions or confess how he is feeling (see during the show with Andi, his eyes and the way he looked at her and the words he said...)
He is willing to work together as a team to solve problems and strives to continue to get better.
