I just see so many contradictions with people who make Andi out to be the wicked witch of the west. The same people who have such a problem with Andi and Josh are the same ones who will defend Juan Pablo and Nick to the grave (Who've both done things I strongly disagree with and I'm baffled when people defend them).

I guess for me, even though I'm a fan of Andi and Josh, I've never been under the impression that either of them are perfect, so when they make the inevitable mistakes I'm not automatically ready to nail them to the cross.

I don't understand, how nick and JP gets understanding and benefit of the doubt from the same people who just REFUSE to give it to Josh.

I disagree. I haven't seen any JPG or Nick fans here claim that their guy is perfect or "defend them to the grave". Quite the contrary, they seem to know those guys have flaws. Same with Josh/Andi fans, they are not claiming perfection either. The situations are the same where one side thinks their couple/contestant is not getting the benefit of the doubt, just take one name out from one side and insert the name from the other side and you will have the same reaction. IMO

Like him or hate him, Juan Pablo has never said anything negative about Andi despite her mocking him endlessly even post-Bach show.  When he was specifically asked about Andi being the Bachelorette he said he face timed with her & told her to stay true to herself.  

Josh chose to make a crass and derogatory statement about Juan Pablo that was unnecessary.  What you say about others often says more about your character than theirs.  Note to self, Josh.

What I saw, was that Cecily said if you weren't happy in the FS, say something or leave. Don't stay and act happy then leave and act like it was torture.

I think that is what most of us who were annoyed by Andi and her behavior thought.

To me that wasn't calling Andi a liar, it was questioning how she behaved in the situation.

It's not easy to address issues in public when you're a celebrity. That's why some people have PROs etc. to write speeches which are "politically correct" because sometimes in the moment, you don't always process what is best to say and sometimes your raw thoughts come forth. So with time and continued exposure to the press, I think he'll learn. Andi has had far more experience answering questions in the public and so she can be more diplomatic. I say, if he continues to make blunders or not so nice comments in the press then we should attack him. But for one or two statements, please!

He's allowed to not like JP. It doesn't suddenly call his character into question for loving Andi and not liking JP. The only problem I have with Josh's statement is that he made it publicly.

I don't think Andi planned to be disgusted, I give her the benefit of the doubt with that. But yes, she could have told him that night she wasn't happy, I don't think they can force anyone to stay where they don't want to be. But the waiting, the not letting him know right away that she was pissed, sorry, I don't respect that. Now I will admit, that Andi may have thought that she was giving off a not happy vibe and JPG should have known, but I pulled that crap on my hubby when we first got together. He told me to assume he was an idiot at reading stuff like that. If I was unhappy and wanted him to know or react, then I had to say it directly.

I don't blame JPG for being annoyed that instead of saying something when she was upset, Andi laid there all night being angry (I believe these were her words, on FS date after JPG, but if I am wrong please feel free to correct me). I would have respected an Andi who spoke up that night and left or if unsure if she would have gotten in trouble, then if she had gone and confronted him right after she left and told producers. But she chose to wait and pull it out later, that was completely done so she could get the bachelorette gig. So yes, I do understand JPG being annoyed with that. To call her on that is fair.

Again, when the guys questioned Andi on her season she lost her temper and put them in their place, when she did it to JPG he was kind and let her spew at him without losing his temper. I am sorry, I respect the way JPG handled it better. But, that is JMO.

Josh made the tweet about the KC Chiefs, then said we all make mistakes and wanted to be understood. So I guess his statements about first Nick and now JPG to me show that while Josh wants to be given understanding for his mistakes, he likes to judge others for theirs.

If Josh just chose to not comment about these people he doesn't like, then he wouldn't not seem quite to hypocritical. JMO. I simple no comment lets people know that you might not like the other person, but it rises above.

I don't remember where I read this, as it was while ago, but I believe it was said that TPTB did a reshoot of Andi's confrontation with JP after the FS because she had really gone off on him. So it's possible that she did confront him immediately after the FS and they showed it later with the reshoot. Again, I don't remember the source, but I did read this.

Exactly. I can certainly call it dumb, but I have zero issue with his actual statement so that's why I'm confused with the outrage of what he said. He doesn't like his character and doesn't want him at his wedding. I could see if Josh said this about someone that came off as an angel.. Juan Pablo isn't an angel. No one is, but Juan Pablo has certainly said and done a lot of questionable things. People are allowed to have opinions on that.
