We cannot have mods monitor this board 24 hrs per day. Therefore whatever happens overnight, stays until someone can clean up the mess.
The mess has been cleaned up. There's nothing worse than signing on and reading posts that are way over the boundaries of the rules.
Please take the initiative to look after your forum, and get the topic back on track without responding to posts that are insulting. Those posts will eventually be deleted.

Thank you for doing that. I know it's a headache to keep us on the straight and narrow but I appreciate it.GuardianAngel wrote:Although it's perfectly within the rules to discuss contestants in a positive or negative light, there is a point out of common courtesy and morals to humans, that will not be tolerated.

Thank you!!! They may be reality show stars but they're humans too. It's uncanny and hard to believe but it's true !GuardianAngel wrote:Although it's perfectly within the rules to discuss contestants in a positive or negative light, there is a point out of common courtesy and morals to humans, that will not be tolerated.

Thank you Guardian! You are the voice of reason too! I really appreciate your comments especially "common courtesy to humans."

So very true. It's sometimes easy to forget that the contestants on this show are not just "characters", but human beings with feelings, too. TPTB really do a number on some of the contestants w/their editing that follow them long after the show has ended and the contestants themselves have moved on.

Re: Andi Dorfman & Josh Murray - Bachelorette 10 - General Discussion
My opinion of Andi has always been that she is a 'black versus white' thinker who is inflexible and prone to perfectionistic thinking. (You're good or evil, with her or against her, a winner or loser, etc) My prediction for Andi's season was that she would choose a guy who had a similar way of thinking. My opinion is that Josh and Andi do share this trait. My opinion is that this trait is what led Josh to make that tweet about Aaron.
Real life is rarely about black or white. Real life is all shades of grey. Those that seek proper justice at every turn seldom find it. Their public cries of indignation only manage to hi-lite their naivete. Their protestations float out into a vast Universe in which they are merely a tiny speck.
Josh should not make tweets like that. They serve no good purpose. He could end up making Aaron (his lil bro) look bad in front of his new bosses. Time for Josh to pull his nose out of Aaron's career and keep his trap shut.

And those grown people need to be able to read and understand what they have read before they sign a contract stating that so and they also need to remember what they agreed to even if it doesn't turn out the way they wanted; perhaps especially if it doesn't turn out the way they wanted it to, but I guess that only happens when people grow up.
Great post Viv.
Presumably former ADA Andi used her legal knowledge to understand the contract she signed which made it clear things might not turn out the way she wanted them to. Such as a contestant that she had sex with on the show sharing that information on "live" tv. Glad that Josh is a self-professed grown a** man. No need for either one of them to be upset or disappointed...

Good post. There is a certain type of immaturity present in Andi, which was shown through her temper tantrums during (and after) both of the seasons she was on. It certainly seems like Josh is similar in many ways, which makes me wonder if Andi learning to yield in his presence (which they've mentioned in interviews) is not so much about Josh's love making her grow, but more about her being afraid he'll leave if he doesn't get to be right. I mean we all saw her freak out when Josh wasn't happy about the lie detector date.

I don't want to go back and discuss this topic again but I have lived a good long life and I do see things in gray now. In my teens and early 20's I tended to see things more in black or white. Either things were right or wrong but with age it's more gray. I still see many of my friends whether talking politics, religion or even life in general stuck in their way is the only right way. As to how Josh and Andi actually see things I don't know since I know only what the show showed us. Since I do see things in gray I do understand though why Josh on spurred of the moment made a tweet like that out of frustration. I could see myself doing something like that. That also is what I've learned with age is to give people slack for actions because people are complicated and not one sided.MiaHawk wrote:I've been away from the board lately and really haven't been posting too much. Pander, I'm the same. When I was younger, I was more serious and more black&white than I am now. As I get older, I don't judge people as much and try to see the world thru the eyes of my children.
I don't know this couple personally but what I saw on the show. I think they're really good kids who are perfect for each other. They're not perfect just like us, but what I read about Josh before the show, he's so perfect to ME ( the events with people w/special needs...)
Maybe Josh made that tweet out of habit--always taking care of his brother? Or maybe he felt guilty having a good time with Andi, instead of his brother? I think he did it with good intention, not out of malice so I'm good!
