Things happen in the heat of the moment, especially when there's probably alcohol involved, you're physically attracted to someone and there are some sort of feelings involved. Crap happens, but it happened when reality wasn't set in place. I think Lauren Murray said it the best, Andi wasn't Josh's until he put the ring on her finger and that's all he cared about. While the ring signifies an engagement, with this ridiculous show it also basically signifies that they're formally together, which would have been the case in the real world after some casual dating, not dating 24 other men in a 10 week span.
Whether Andi told him in the FS or after the engagement, although from hints dropped it seems in the FS, I don't think it really matters because for them, it appears since the beginning of May when they started living together things have gone nicely.
As for the gross sentiment that every time Josh is with Andi he'll think of Nick, I don't know, I certainly don't think of my current boyfriends ex who he dated shortly before me and we've been together for a year. It actually doesn't cross my mind at all, because everyone has a past - myself included.
It's just a tiresome subject and in the end it really is just it is what it is. Nothing can be changed. It was a change that we actually heard the F2 person say it, but it wasn't a change the lead slept with two people. Weirdly, all that reall matters with these couples is what happens after the show is filmed.. Things seem to be going really well.
I agree.
I promised myself never talk about this again, but because this subject is still being discussed here, and I'm a woman hence I can change my mind!
In the end, I think "this" is a blessing in disguise. It's opened the dialogue about sex whether it s/b kept private or not ( I'm for the former) or the difference between relationship in real life and TB....
*** Addendum--- Lucas, I meant if they were told about the FS with F2, not about the "broadcasting" on AFTR. ( I don't think anyone would have known this, except F2)

Thank you for doing that. I had read the post prior to going to bed but apparently couldn't stop thinking about the comments against their fans which I'm one and woke up at 4:30 and decided to request it be deleted or edited.albean99 wrote:I edited the post that was talking about fans in an offensive manner and therefore had to delete the posts that commented on it. It's within the rules to criticize contestants but not fellow members and many members are fans of Andi & Josh.

And those grown people need to be able to read and understand what they have read before they sign a contract stating that so and they also need to remember what they agreed to even if it doesn't turn out the way they wanted; perhaps especially if it doesn't turn out the way they wanted it to, but I guess that only happens when people grow up.
Great post Viv.

Yeah, WOW!!!
I am just addressing the current tone of this thread and not trying to single out any one member. So please everyone, and anyone reading at this now, this is just another timely public announcement.
It is acceptable to express opinions within the the site rules.
So for a poster to say something is acceptable or unacceptable regarding cast, as long as it is within site rules(there is a section regarding certain inflammatory terms, btw) is ok. It is their opinion. Opinions are subjective, as well as assumptions, judgements etc on this forum as long as it follows site rules.
If something disturbs any member there are several actions you can take. 1) you can always contact a mod and discuss such. We are very open minded IMO. 2) report the pm 3) You could choose to avoid reading posts by certain members by putting them on FOE 4) you could choose to avoid reading the threads that are disturbing.
Above all remember we want this to be an enjoyable place. We try to aim for this. The above 4 actions are only suggestions and not mandates.
No good deed goes unpunished.

Re: Andi Dorfman & Josh Murray - Bachelorette 10 - General Discussion
Catherine (Sean) while very different, also had a confidence in what she was feeling with Sean and so she didn't dwell on the other girls (during or post show) and wasn't shaken by Ashley's MTA episode.
Chris (Des) had enough quiet confidence in what he felt with Des, that the whole Brooks episode didn't appear to shake him
JP had enough confidence that when Ashley chose to tell him about the Bentley episode he took it in his stride and the Ben claims of what happened in the FS don't seem to have had an impact either.
This confidence, whether in self, or in the relationship seems to be one important key to success.

I think that one of the factors that seems to lead to a successful relationship post show (other than the usual factors of compatibility, stage of life, etc) is the inner confidence level of the partner "competing" for the bach/ette. Josh is apparently a pretty confident guy (some might say cocky - I don't) and he was able to keep his focus on Andi and their relationship only. He has expressed this multiple times and is clearly living it out.
