I believe it coincided with Josh also posting the lake pic when people in the fan thread we desperate and talking about contacting them to request a new pic.  So interesting coincidence.

Since Andi laughed about Josh smashing Nick if he has seen him at the AFTR, the whole favorite of a tweet that made fun of Nick too?  I guess I call Andi and Nick even in the physically harming stakes especially since Nick just favorited and Andi said it with glee and joy.  Plus Nick simply pressed like or favorite or whatever.  Josh typed and submitted something and Andi spoke the words out loud.

Nick made a mistake and admitted, just as Josh made a mistake and admitted it.

My point, since I have a hard time getting that across, is that people make mistakes.  If we chose to excuse the mistakes of one then we should chose to forgive the mistakes of all.  Nick was made fun of relentlessly for retracting his likes.  I think people make mistakes.  I don't blame Josh, I just wish if we forgive him so easily we can show the same generosity to Nick.

I don't remember that interview word for word, but I believe Andi said something in a sense that the producers locked Josh away and didn't let him watch her talking with Nick (which I think is a standard for F1?) because they didn't want Josh to smash Nick, all that in a joking tone. To me, it didn't sound like she thought Josh should have hit Nick, or that Nick deserved to be smashed. I took it more like a hint, that the producers knew very well how the conversation between Andi and Nick would go, hence made sure to prevent even a slightest possibility of things getting physical.

I applaud you for being able to forgive everyone in the same manner. For me (and I noticed it's very similar for many people around me, perhaps it's a cultural difference?) it is much easier to forgive the people I care about, people I like or people who are important part of my life (whether I like them
or not). Than there are people (not Nick!) I just don't care enough about to feel the need to forgive them. Some won't forgive Nick, others will never forgive Andi. Both sides have their opinions and reasons.

What I don't understand is hate and derogatory comments (generally speaking, NOT about you, stuckinsc) which neither one of them deserves.

I have ZERO problem with Josh expressing his frustration regarding a family situation.

I have a feeling plenty of people would be okay with Nick expressing the same feelings in the same situation.

THIS is where I am.... I saw the tweet an kept on strolling, but I knew there was going to be some pro and con posters to the tweet, but that's life......

Since I don't know any of these people personally and they have done nothing to me, I have no problem treating them equally. I do try to forgive even those I know, it took me a lot of years, but I have come to realize that my anger and resentment hurt me and caused me a lot more pain than any of the people I was angry or resentful of. I am much happier when I don't try to fix things I can't and let go of anger.

Anyone out there ever make an emotional tweet about something they probably shouldn't have?  I don't blame you, you're only human, right?

Now he is asking not to be blamed or judged. He would have been better off not saying anything at all after deleting the tweet. Andi's retweet couldn't have happened at a worse time, as it appears they took the advise of posters on this board. I find it ironic he is now explaining that it was emotional. There are things people do all the time that they perhaps shouldn't have. A little understanding goes a long way.

What happened to "blessed".." God has perfect timing.." the more humble and obedient man is to God..."

This is what I do not like about Josh. Stop with the religious tweeting when you don't follow them yourself. We can't pick and choose who we are going to be forgiving to, or compassionate to, if you follow God's word, then you are compassionate to everyone.

They should be greatful and feeling blessed that Aaron got drafted at all. Josh needs to learn to stop sticking his nose in Aaron's business. He has professional medical teams, coaches and decision making people that know the business, and know what's best for Aaron. This is the arrogance side of Josh that I found as soon as he walked out of the limo. This is what happens when he doesn't win.

If they look to this board for advise, then I'm glad we can help but the last thing a professional team wants is to deal with interfering family. Totally disappointed in that tweet, coming from some one who should know better.
A fair amount of arrogance with a sense of entitlement perhaps.  After all, the Murrays are allegedly quasi-royalty in Georgia.  I'd prefer that Josh simply be the "grown a** man" he proclaimed himself to be and not try to excuse away his inappropriate tweet.  Just own it, Josh and stop deflecting your behavior on to others. He would also do well to acknowledge Aaron's many blessings in being afforded the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Chiefs and believe in God's perfect timing...unless previous tweets were just an effort to refine his "good guy" image.

Interesting post-show behavior.  Seems to confirm the reports of his quick temper.

Couple of brief comments that are purely my opinion:
Believing in God, knowing His word, even tweeting it, doesn't make you perfect it just means you know of the One who is.
Josh is a flawed human being, as are we all. I'm sure he knows it.
Arrogance is, I guess in the eye of the beholder. I saw nothing arrogant in the exit from the limo - just a good-looking guy who seemed nervous and willing to be vulnerable by explaining he was there because it was Andi.
JMO. Josh seems like a genuinely nice guy - as do most of the guys on this season.

I just find it interesting that we're all here judging people that we don't know, but yet it's okay. Josh sends out a tweet that he probably shouldn't have and it didn't have any sort of malice or hate towards anyone, but yet it's not okay because he describes and portrays himself as a man of God. I have trouble understanding that. I'm Catholic and my faith has been a large part of my life since I was a child, but I sure hope God doesn't hate me for leaving comments here that aren't always in a positive light.

People aren't perfect. No one is. I'm pretty sure it's okay to make some small errors whether it be on Twitter or here on this board, when in reality, they have no large effect on anyone.

There is as much judgement for Josh as there was for Nick. Just different people judging.

One difference to me, when you proclaim your faith to a large audience via twitter, etc, then you set yourself up for some questioning you. In addition, when he is so openly not forgiving Nick, it is a pattern of less than Christian behavior.

I'm not quite sure as to why Nick is being brought up as it wasn't mentioned in my original post. People so greatly want the negativity surrounding Nick to stop being talked about, but yet it's always brought up. I would answer your thoughts in regards to Nick here, but I'm going to avoid it as I don't want the topic of the thread to go off course.

My original post has nothing to do with judging Josh versus judging Nick. My point is that people are being harsh towards Josh (and Nick for that matter) and saying he is doing and saying some not so Christian things, but yet aren't we all doing the same? I'm pretty sure bashing and being judgmental to people we don't know isn't very nice. I'm certainly guilty of it, but if we're going to talk about faith and religion, I was just making my point that as a Catholic woman, I know I'm not perfect, but I sure as heck hope that God doesn't hate me for making such comments here. While I'm guilty of making those comments that aren't always in a positive light, I'm sure people don't know that I volunteer with my church and traveled to Michigan to help build homes for the homeless and so forth.

My main point is that if we're going to bring out the topics of faith and religion, in my opinion it would be best to realize that no one is perfect, we all do some dumb things and we all do some great things. Our worth as a person of faith shouldn't be judged upon because of a tweet that someone sent out that had no sort of malice or hate towards anyone when it was really just about wanting a better opportunity for his brother.

A great post Ash and a point well made.

IMHO Josh is very protective of those who are close to him, which includes his brother and his family and (as of recently) Andi, and he should be. Although it's probably a good thing that he deleted it, Josh's tweet contained no anger hate or threat - it merely expressed a wish that his brother's position in the NFL afforded him more opportunity. I don't see how that's such a bad thing to feel or to have expressed.
