I'd be interested to know that also.
Just a guess - I suspect Josh may have hoped that KC would trade Daniel (which was one of the talked about rumors over the last couple of weeks) leaving a spot open for backup QB (thus creating a situation like Ash posted exists on the New England Pats with their rookie QBs). IMHO that might still happen - just not this year, and it could depend on how well Aaron does (and how well he heals) as 3rd string which would be a smarter plan (IMHO) for KC anyway.
I have a suspicion that Aaron knows more about what KC plans for him than is public and perhaps than what Josh knows. Kacie left a job she loved in a good TV market to move to KC which is a romantic thing, but really a dumb move unless she already knew that Aaron was going to make the 53 man roster. If that was unknown she would have been smarter to wait a couple of weeks and see, but I think Aaron might have known and thus Kacie might have known.
Aaron might also know that he is being groomed for the backup slot and that he might get it in the next year or so (if all goes well) and Josh might not have known that. Thus, his frustrated tweet that may have been deleted after he found out there was a grander plan that wasn't all that bad.
Interesting speculation. When Aaron was drafted, he was being touted as the future of the franchise. Conversely, right before the last preseason game, the KC "experts" were predicting who was in and who was out. Some predicted, albeit they thought it was a close call, that Aaron would be the one cut with the possibility of being sent to the practice team (if some other team had not picked him up on waivers first). And then Tyler Bray got hurt in that last game.
Nonetheless, I hope that your suspicions are correct and that Aaron was made privy to KC's plan for him prior to the last cut or it does appear that Kacie took a big risk in the timing of her move. The only other possibility I can think of was that the window was closing relative to her accepting the position at the TV station in KC.

Look at the uproar it caused here alone.
Clearly not the first time Josh has gotten a "little" hot-headed due to his protectiveness of Aaron. Nick Farley manhandling Aaron during the Auburn game and Josh's reaction comes to mind. in fact, in one of the sports radio interviews, Josh admitted to getting angry about it still just thinking about it. Of course, that play could have ended Aaron's career.
I say that not to his excuse Josh's behavior/decision. It is my philosophy to try to understand underlying behavior while concomitantly holding the person accountable for the behavior. In my opinion, it is that understanding that fosters compassion which can then lead to forgiveness.

That was my guess to the early move because unless she knew something for sure it didn't make much sense until Aaron had a spot.docnash14 wrote:Lucas15 wrote:albean99 wrote:

Kasha, I agree with you and Freud about there being no coincidences. And as we both said last evening, I think it's a safe bet that someone close to Josh/Andi is looking out for him/her here.

I have been a huge fan of Aaron and the Murrays since he started at UGA. I think without his injury, much like Doc said, he would have been a higher round draft pic. But he had an injury that can take over a year to heal. Adrian Peterson came over his in less than a year, but it made him amazing, doesn't usually happen.
In my view KC is giving Aaron a very good chance, but being smart and keeping Daniels for this season until Aaron has the chance to improve without having the pressure to perform too quickly. As I stated before Alex Smith has a long history of injury and even his contract extension at 4 years is not long or that impressive.
Agreed that Kacie and Aaron have a clue that they have bigger plans. Now Josh may not know, but to me it shows a disconnect with his brother to post that. As I said it does not reflect well on Josh or Aaron.
Again, it is funny, I remember many people make fun of Nick for retracting tweets. Now maybe most will be more understanding that sometimes you make mistakes and correct them.

They're two different circumstances. Josh didn't wish any harm to anyone and never followed someone or favorited anyone that had disturbing tweets. He wished his brother was drafted to another team that would give him a better chance to compete. There's a difference... To me at least.

As for the guy with disturbing tweets, when I went to his profile there were only two and he had moved on.
My point is Nick has made mistakes and Josh and Andi can make mistakes too. A little forgiveness is always a good idea.

Just to be a stickler, there was six in total, which also includes the photoshopped pictures of Josh's head cut out with Nick's replaced in it from the People magazine shoot. Super creepy.
Absolutely forgiveness is a good thing. I just wanted to make sure I mentioned that there was a difference to wishing someone harm and insulting their intelligence and so forth in comparison to someone wanting the best for his brother and an opportunity to prove himself.. Which was obviously a mistake that he shouldn't have tweeted out.

It could also be pointed out that favoring other peoples tweets is something that can be done quickly and without much thought or intention, whereas typing out a tweeting and then taking time to hit send takes a lot more thought and effort.
When I went to the guys twitter, there were two tweets as I had stated before. I don't check stuff like that often, but then again, I try to not give those who are not fans extra attention.
No one is perfect, so patience all the way around is a great thing.

Josh Murray @jmurbulldog
Anyone out there ever make an emotional tweet about something they probably shouldn't have? I don't blame you, you're only human, right?
Now he is asking not to be blamed or judged. He would have been better off not saying anything at all after deleting the tweet. Andi's retweet couldn't have happened at a worse time, as it appears they took the advise of posters on this board. I find it ironic he is now explaining that it was emotional. There are things people do all the time that they perhaps shouldn't have. A little understanding goes a long way.
What happened to "blessed".." God has perfect timing.." the more humble and obedient man is to God..."
This is what I do not like about Josh. Stop with the religious tweeting when you don't follow them yourself. We can't pick and choose who we are going to be forgiving to, or compassionate to, if you follow God's word, then you are compassionate to everyone.
They should be greatful and feeling blessed that Aaron got drafted at all. Josh needs to learn to stop sticking his nose in Aaron's business. He has professional medical teams, coaches and decision making people that know the business, and know what's best for Aaron. This is the arrogance side of Josh that I found as soon as he walked out of the limo. This is what happens when he doesn't win.
If they look to this board for advise, then I'm glad we can help but the last thing a professional team wants is to deal with interfering family. Totally disappointed in that tweet, coming from some one who should know better.
