I disagree with the bolded. Way before the plane video, and whatever attempt he made to contact her after the show, there was the morning she went to break up with him and with a smile on her face she walked in his room and  proceeded to blame their break up on their over analytical skills. There was no empathy in her demeanor at all that morning, she looked pissed that she couldn't just walk in there and tell him well Nick, Im sorry but its not you, you got to go. She just wanted to dump him and walk right out. Like I said in another thread, she showed a thousand times more compassion when she let Chris go (a guy who never even made it to the FS) than with Nick, who she had sex with a few nights before and had taken to meet her parents. To me her coldness with Nick was because she knew somewhere in her conscience she had gone too far with him and didn't want to face the fact. She wanted everything to fit right in her fairytale with Josh, so she dismissed everything that went on with Nick because it did not fit her princess aura. Basically, in her mind there was no need to explain anything to Nick once his time was up.

Frankly, I think Josh is so much more a better person than she is. I hope he realizes that someday.

And with Nick, I feel the worst is behind him, TPTB had him by the b*lls after the plane video. To me the punishment did not fit the crime.

My husband watched the ATFR segment with me (reluctantly, but I was hogging the den TV) and he really felt sorry for Nick, with the shaking and all. But, when he "kissed and told" that broke it.  He said, "I wonder if his mother is proud of him now."
 
Gentlemanly behavior is preached to our sons on a regular basis.  I don't care what she did or didn't do, he had a choice to be a gentleman and he chose not to be one. Period

I agree that Andi didn't handle the initial breakup with Nick well and it was mostly due to guilt as you said, as well as regret that she had gone that far with him.  But it also made me wonder if they specifically instruct the lead when letting the F2 go early NOT to say she is in love with the other guy, as Emily also didn't do it.  Reason would be to not let the cat out of the bag before she says it to the F1 at the FRC.  It just seems like it would be the easiest out to use with the rejected F2, and one that really can't be argued with, but for some reason, neither Emily or Andi took it.  Makes no sense.  Anybody remember what Ali said with Chris L?

That said, it's much easier to be more compassionate months later when you are happy and not under the pressure of shooting the show, and yet she still wasn't, which I attribute partly to the ill will between her/Josh and Nick that developed due to post show happenings.  I sensed she was mad at Nick from the moment she stepped on the stage with him.  She wasn't even trying to make nice, and there was no reason to act that way if she didn't feel she had a bone to pick with him, because it just made her look bad.  JMO.

IMO, Nick was very much the gentleman.  He didn't attack her with vicious statements, he basically asked the question that he felt would provide some clarity to what she was saying about not having loving feelings for him.  I can definitely understand why he asked the question.  If she wasn't having those feelings, then why did she sleep with him???  He asked what many people were thinking imo.

I do sympathize with Nick getting hurt, but I don't agree with the way he handled himself at all. You attract more bees with honey.

This guy has been a rollercoaster for me. I loved him, then was annoyed by him, then confused because his eye contact was all over the place, then found him to be selfish. I ended up liking his LCD and felt so bad for him during the MTP because he was so nervous. I almost cried when Andi said goodbye the morning of the FRC, it was painful and clearly he was blindsided. And then last night. Sigh.
