Now that Andi has exhaled, and chosen her man, what really seems effortless for her is the smile that is plastered all over her face with Josh. True love and happiness will do that for a person.

Actually he does. He can refuse. I used to think you couldn't refuse until JP and Nikki refused to do the media rounds last seaaon

I was actually wondering the same thing. Does he? He is contractually bound to do x,y and z. Maybe this is part of it? I am thinking it is.
He looks tired and I know I would be.
One thing I can say--he is consistent with every interview. He says the same thing and does not vary. I am glad he is going home and hopefully will put the entire thing to rest and move on.

Does he still have "no say" in what he actually says?

I have to agree that even IF he had to do these interviews all he had to say in them is he really has nothing else to say except he's moving on and wish Andi and Josh the best. That would stop the media circus from bothering with him anymore and he could resume his life.

From a fan's perspective, I want to see him doing the interviews, plus, he's been bashed a lot on SM, I am happy he can finally speak up to defend himself.
He says in all of the interviews he got the closure he needed. He says Josh is a great guy and he wishes them well in all of his interviews.

What grosses me out is the continual talk about the act itself. Plus, I hate the political answer, "I'm sorry if you were offended / hurt / humiliated." Just say you were sorry for saying too much.

Realistically, no one's mind is going to be changed here. I think the continued media junket is just reinforcing everyone's opinion of Nick as saint or cad. The truth will out about all three of them, and some of us will be saying (or thinking at least) I told you so, and others will be wondering how they misjudged so badly. For all I know, all three of them are jerks!

I understand completely that Andi doesn't want to talk about it... But media always runs with the sensational story lines... It happens in any controversial situation.

Because of the plane video, TPTB have more leverage over Nick than with previous contestants. JPG & Nikki didn't do media rounds after the disastrous ATFR show because TPTB didn't want to give them to give them another platform to embarrass the show. CH did all the media and spun it they way his bosses wanted him to.

Realistically, Nick must do whatever interviews TPTB want him to do and can't do any interviews they don't approve. Simple. He doesn't choose the questions asked of him anymore than MeandI chooses what's asked of her. Of course she doesn't want to talk about sleeping with Nick - kind of puts a damper on her perfect relationship with Josh.

Nick has handled himself quite well in the interviews and remains consistent in expressing his feelings. He has the closure he wanted all along and can move on with the next phase of what had been a wonderful life.

Particpants in the show are under contract so when asked to do media they usually do. Juan Pablo definitely broke contract after the show but they were glad to be rid of him!!! Ha ha..... Nick on the otherhand brought up a fundamental social issue with the comment of what everyone assumes goes on in the fantasy suite. It usually comes out sooner or later maybe not on TV but via SM.

Some leads like Jillian are very open about it like during her season she actually had 2 chances for fantasy suites one in Spain and one on whatever tropical island they were on at the end of show. In Spain she said she only took Ed to the fantasy suite which was true. However, Reid had a room in Spain with a hot tub and there were pictures of her in white robe in his room then leaving his room in Spain that were not shown on TV. She told Kip they would have that time later on & they did. Ed's volcano shots edited with his last chance date are quite infamous at implying what happened with him!!!!ROFL

Agreeing with the bolded. We don't know any of these people personally and are just judging from what we see on tv. Some of us like one more than the other, but again, we don't know them.

I am happy the show is over and hope they can all move on.
