I dont think tptb are trying to break them up. Why cast Andi's perfect paper fit and not anticipate or at least plan for her falling for him chemistry-wise as well? He was cast primarily for Andi, and to be the lead secondary if she didn't choose him imo.

While Josh is Andi's perfect paper fit, she did go into the season saying she was looking for something different than before.

I don't think TPTB thought Brad would fall for Emily and wanted her to be their next bachelorette.

I could see the same thing with Josh. I don't know that they would try to break them up, but much like I saw with Brad and Emily, I don't know that they wouldn't push if they thought there might be trouble in paradise. CH practically glowed watching Emily tear down Brad on that AFTR, then her tearful break up special during Ashley's season. Yuck!

cI feel like they won't show the letter at the men tell all and will be shown at the ATFR. Men tell all just gave them a chance to tape it. with the US weekly story and the plane video I think ABC just said let's give them something to think about. I do think the letter is from Nick

But Andi is wearing the dress she has on for her makeup session for the MTA, plus the viewers might remember that she got the letter before Andi rejects Nick on the show.  So I really don't think tptb would do that.  Jmo

There is ALOT more to Josh than is being presented .. seeing as the show chose to personify him as just an athlete .. So yes .. He is a good fit on paper .. But he has asked her to be open minded and not to just consider that fact .. He has shown her that he is more than what is on paper .. So is in reality .. Different than she was initially looking for

I don't disagree. I am a huge fan of Josh, the person, I was before this show started. I admire him for what he is and what he has done. I think he takes difficult situations and deals with them with grace, dignity and humor.

I also think TPTB think in one dimensional characters, so to me they thought of Josh as perfect on paper, and I can see them hoping she would chose someone else so that they could have him as their bachelor. Just like Emily with Brad.

I don't disagree.  I am a huge fan of Josh, the person, I was before this show started.  I admire him for what he is and what he has done.  I think he takes difficult situations and deals with them with grace, dignity and humor.

Great points, stuckinsc.  I also love Josh and don't think he's been presented as completely one-dimensional.
There is a lot we've seen presented that would make him a perfect match for Andi.
But Andi has said, both on the show and in her interview with Kelly/Michael LIVE post show that a key element in her choice is chemistry... something that you can't explain.. and she identifies this chemistry (almost the same words as she uses on LIVE) about Nick when they are on the beach in their FD.
So, two great guys, both husband material, both great potential dads... but she has chemistry with one she can't explain ...

Andi has said the most important thing to her is to have that chemistry. She stated her chemistry with Josh, from the beginning, has been INSANE. She is referring to Josh when she talks about chemistry. IMHO Time will tell if these two make down the aisle. They might have an even better chance than most couples coming out of this show because of proximity and the report that they have been seeing each other constantly. ;)

They also missed a con with Josh. He's 29 & hasn't had a serious relationship in at least 5 yrs or maybe never if that quote in US was right. It's a red flag and also a reason to slow down rather than speed up the process assuming he's the f1.
