Oh God, those jerk producers totally put a bug in Nick's ear to finish the book with a proposal, acceptance, and happily ever after, didn't they?  And, presuming the F2 is Nick, if he asked to see Andi and she simply said no, I respect her for not bringing it up with Josh and just handling it herself.

I don't know, this article totally reads like US magazine got the inside scoop, nothing given away in terms of outcome and lots of direct quotes.  I figured it was trash - not so much now.

I agree kdubs, TPTB are ruthless and definitely led Nick on on. I said this before.... he is not the first and unfortunately, won't be the last.   

Nick had no idea about her connection with Josh because they separate the guys at HT dates and he did not talk to Josh or any of the other guys. The producers were feeding his head with lies or "stretched " the truth about how Andi felt.

I am sure after watching the show he can see that he was not the only one who had a connection. He is/will be fine, and I have no doubt he has already moved out of and past the bubble. ;)

Probably. I really don't care to see this. It's stupid and ridiculous and I would much rather they focus on the happy couple than stirring up more drama with Nick and all this idiocy. GRRRR.

Thanks for posting that Motheroffive. Interesting read. There definitely seems to be a string of truth to the article. With the new MTA preview saying that the F2 sent her a letter, this is further validated that something goes down.

I guess for me it really depends in what context he tried to "get her back". Like if he had all these "supposed thoughts" and then just sent her a letter explaining how he felt. Then I can understand that and don't feel it would be too intrusive, as Andi is a grown woman and could simply choose not to read the letter. Further the letter could be to give context to the guys thinking he treated it like a competition, and him validating his feelings were genuine.

On the other hand, if he was consistently calling her or trying to see her face to face etc, knowing she was happily engaged then I will be disappointed.

I hope that Nick wasn't manipulated further by TPTB. Although as I said before, I also would not be surprised if he was in position where he had no choice to do something like this, maybe it was a deal he made to make up for the leaked video.

Gosh, that seemed pretty legit. Eeeek, I hope for Nick's sake, he didn't go that far. It's always best when the F2 just shows up, asks a couple of questions and then wishes the best for the lead. I understand Nick felt like they had a great relationship, but I'm confused as to how, especially watching the season, that he thought he could be the only one for her.

To the bolded... I agree with you.  I watch the show and think it's totally obvious that she has something different and deeper with Josh.  But plenty of people on this board, heck even her friend Sharleen, see the deeper connection with Nick.  I was on the other side of the fence on Emily's season; saw nothing but a truckload of ick between her and 1F.  I think we carry so much of our own personal preferences and history into our viewing.  If Nick is the F2, he's carrying his own heart, memories, and feelings into the viewing; and then hearing Andi talk about how they have a connection like no other.  I think it's perfectly understandable.

I will say, though, I'd have a hard time seeing Josh being the person who couldn't let it go.  I think he'd be more apt to think that if Andi ended up with Nick, she wasn't the right one for him.  I'd imagine him to be more like Chris Lambton as the rejected F2.  I also can't see his mama not knowing her pookie got his heart broken.  And she wouldn't be throwing a party if he did!

I agree kdubs. We all see through our likes and desires so it makes us less objective so I can see where Nick may seem to see it that way also. Even Chris in his interview said he didn't realize the connection Nick and Andi had.

I do so hope Nick will be like Chris L. He handled it so much like a gentleman.

That could be. The day in LA, there is a picture of him and he seems happy and mingling, he wasn't hiding in a hotel room. Also he retweeted an upbeat article about ice cream month. It doesn't seem to me that he was in a somber mood. He has been joking a lot these past 2 months on twitter, so I doubt that he was that heartbroken anymore. Its just the storyline IMO.

CSW, I was wondering the exact same thing this morning. As I recall, Andi flew to LA on Thursday. At first, we heard that it was due to her doing Ryan Seacrest on Friday (I don't think that happened though until Monday). So, it's possible that the sit-down happened on Friday. I believe Nick was spotted in the surrounding LA area on Saturday. Any evidence that he was there sooner?
