^^ US Weekly article whether true or not, says it was a horse race between the F2 until hometowns when Andi made her decision. Also the F2 never got a chance to propose.

Does it say a horse race until hometowns? I have it too. Need to re-read and left the mag at work! I remember the no chance to propose but did not remember that she made a decision at hometowns.

When Josh gave her the roses he basically came out and told her he would propose.  If she had any doubts after that date on if he was serious I would be very surprised.

I agree, I think the reason she didn't decide sooner, if true, is because she didn't know what Josh was thinking and she was being careful to have a back up plan/relationship in case he was planning to bail. Not to say that her relationship with Nick wasn't real, but I think Josh was always top dog (no pun intended) and it was just a matter of her being sure that Josh wouldn't leave her at the frc. 

She's been called strategic and not genuine for not falling before the guys but I think it's smart. Instead of crying and throwing a humiliating fit like Ash, DeAnna, Des, Ali, and Jill because their at the time f1 had just bailed, she made sure he was all in before she made her decision. I don't blame her, she was the one who had the most to lose here, not the men because she's the lead, she has the pressure and she's the one that's in the hot seat if she chooses poorly or even falls in love with the wrong guy.

I think in some article I read she admitted that she used her strategic skills to help her make the decision but in the end as she demonstrated by what she said about her reason for sending Chris home she listened to her heart (which is good news for her because in order to listen to it she had to get past her own walls/defenses which in turn suggests to me that she opened herself up to a deeper relationship with herself).  So it appears that she listened to Hy's mandate to her - to find the right one for her.

Definitely, I don't think it was strategic all the way through but she did her best to protect her heart and also make sure she wouldn't be embarrassed at the end of the show for as long as she could keep her head over her heart. Anyway, despite the efforts, by the 5th episode, she was already starting to feel out of control and throwing mics around, so IMO she was already battling herself that early on.

This season and this lead have been the most compelling to me by far. I'm really excited to see her now, 3 months after filming

I watched the part where he- Josh- was upset after the lie detector test and she has her hand on the inside of his thigh!!! That's pretty aggressive for not knowing a guy very long and dating alot of others at the same time! She was into him at the beginning! No fooling this girl.

I just cannot see how Nick thinks that he was the only one good enough for Andi. If he did go after Andi after because HE thinks she made a mistake is totally creepy. Like Josh said he over analyzies everything and he totaly convinced himself that Andi would choose him and cannot except that she is in love with someone else. On the other hand Josh was never sure how it went with the others until the FS date. I think he got more reassurance that he was the one then.

Oh God, those jerk producers totally put a bug in Nick's ear to finish the book with a proposal, acceptance, and happily ever after, didn't they?  And, presuming the F2 is Nick, if he asked to see Andi and she simply said no, I respect her for not bringing it up with Josh and just handling it herself.

I don't know, this article totally reads like US magazine got the inside scoop, nothing given away in terms of outcome and lots of direct quotes.  I figured it was trash - not so much now.

Gosh, that seemed pretty legit. Eeeek, I hope for Nick's sake, he didn't go that far. It's always best when the F2 just shows up, asks a couple of questions and then wishes the best for the lead. I understand Nick felt like they had a great relationship, but I'm confused as to how, especially watching the season, that he thought he could be the only one for her.

And I really wouldn't have a problem with that especially if all he did was write a letter however if it was later I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about it. Guess we'll see if all played out which is what I was hoping we wouldn't.

But he did though. I kept hearing Nick say, nobody else has the kind of connection he has with Andi. he is her favorite- For the editors to leave those in tells me he was totally blindsided. We shall see in 2 weeks becos I think that kind of confidence is always a kiss of death on this show.

Thanks for posting that Motheroffive. Interesting read. There definitely seems to be a string of truth to the article. With the new MTA preview saying that the F2 sent her a letter, this is further validated that something goes down.

I guess for me it really depends in what context he tried to "get her back". Like if he had all these "supposed thoughts" and then just sent her a letter explaining how he felt. Then I can understand that and don't feel it would be too intrusive, as Andi is a grown woman and could simply choose not to read the letter. Further the letter could be to give context to the guys thinking he treated it like a competition, and him validating his feelings were genuine.

On the other hand, if he was consistently calling her or trying to see her face to face etc, knowing she was happily engaged then I will be disappointed.

I hope that Nick wasn't manipulated further by TPTB. Although as I said before, I also would not be surprised if he was in position where he had no choice to do something like this, maybe it was a deal he made to make up for the leaked video.

I think if he did try to get her back, it would have been right after he got back. They really don't see the interactions with her and the other guys so I would think it would be easy to think you are the only one that has a connection with her. After watching the episodes, I would think he could see it with others (aka Josh).
