I just think that if they showed that aspect of their relationship in addition to the stuff you cannot edit out, all their physical-ness, it would be harder to make it a horserace. JMO.

Exactly...I'm sure Josh & Andy connect in many different ways .    My main point is that Sharleen goes on and on about the "editing" and untrustworthy ITM's/voice overs and yet seems to believe that since Andi isn't gushing about her mental connection with Josh on air, then it's not happening. She should know that she could be starting every ITM with those words and them never make it to air, .

I'm just annoyed that both Sharleen and CH are giving Josh the short end of the stick in their blogs and making it sound like Andi's choice is between the intelligent, deep thinking, analytical Nick or the dumb old comfortable shoe, Josh. I think choosing Josh is not the safe pick given her past failed relationship and how insecure and scared she's been about him, IMO. If she chooses Josh, it will be because she's madly in love with him and not because she's going back to what she knows.

Josh appears to me much more emotionally mature than Nick.  His social intelligence skills and his concern for others more than himself are at a very high level.   What is everyone seeing with Nick that is so deep and mature?  Josh has chosen to have a happy positive approach to life.  Choosing to have a positive outlook on life takes emotional strength and maturity.  Josh demonstrated this in the household with the other guys, in relating to people they met in the towns they visited and with Andi herself.  I am sure that Nick is intelligent and book smart, but I would guess that Josh is a peer in intelligence to Nick and Andi.  He excels in my view of emotional maturity and intelligence.  Of course (laughing at myself) I do not personally know any of them!  This is totally my opinion.

Agree, Alanna! And as far as the bolded, Sharleen would be better suited to Nick than Andi would have been.

Andi will and should pick Josh imo.  Josh does it for her not Nick.  It is written all over her face and I bet at the ATFR we will hear from andi and Josh and how much you want to bet, sharleen changes her tune?!    

Sharleen should date Nick...I get the feeling she's more into him than Andi was, .

I find it ironic that Sharleen says that she wishes Andi would emphasize her “mental connection” with Josh the way she does with Nick when she (Sharleen) has gone above and beyond explaining the heavy editing that is done to give us the "storylines" the producers want to give us; the spliced ITM's, the post production ITM's, voice overs, etc. and the production prodding to get the comments on camera they want to get.  Despite all the manipulative editing that has gone on to cast Nick as a "villain" (which obviously he is not), and how many times she's used this to defend Nick, it doesn't enter her thinking that possibly, maybe, Andi does have a very strong "mental connection" with Josh as well but the show wants to show Josh as the dumb jock which clearly he is not instead of someone as intelligent and as mentally connected with Andi as Nick "appears" to be?

Andi on Kelly or somewhere talked about how it's important for her to have a mental connection and to be with someone who totally understands and gets her, etc. So if she chose Josh, I think it's safe to say they get each other, he can speak full sentences and comprehend everything she says I just think that if they showed that aspect of their relationship in addition to the stuff you cannot edit out, all their physical-ness, it would be harder to make it a horserace. It's not just the edit ... it's Andi gushing about Nick's mental connection and intellect in every single interview, PI, ITM, ... in every promotion of the show that is how Nick and Josh are presented, one intellect/mental, the other physical/chemistry ... and it's Andi talking... so yeah, whether you believe that that's all there is or there is more (for both) ... I don't see anything wrong with Shar's statement, that if Andi chose Josh, if that is her pick, she should say something more about the mental connection too, at least in the promotion now, outside of the show's edit. But she is sticking with the story-edit of the show and one-dimensional portray of the contestants.

I think Josh and Nick are both mature.  Sharleen is a self professed supporter of Nick, while at the same time saying that Josh is a great and wonderful guy.  In no way have I found Sharleen to be negative about Josh.  We haven't heard Andi talk about a mental connection with him, does that mean she hasn't nope, it means either she hasn't or TPTB edited it out.  I could see it either way.

I guess this is one of my first times being more team F2 than F1, but still really liking both of them.  I have been reading on here for over a month now all the awesome spoilers and SM make Josh F1.  I have read multiple posts that state as fact that Andi and Josh watched the world cup together and  spent 4th of July together.  While both things are possible, at this point they aren't fact to us, we don't know one way or another.

But now that a little bit of something is supportive of Nick, some are upset.  Welcome to club TeamNick, we have been living this for a month. 


Both these guys are great, congratulations to Andi for picking a great final four, terrific final three and probably my favorite final two guys ever.


I think Andi or almost any girl will be lucky to have either guy.  Andi's decision has been made, I don't expect her to change her mind and all of the other stuff is just filler and fluff.  If Josh and Andi are happy, I will be happy for them, just like I will be happy for Nick and Andi if they are happy.

I know some of the stuff out their upsets me, so I avoid it.  I stopped reading Kelly Travis's twitter for this reason.  If Sharleen bothers you, I suggest skipping her blog.  She is a Nick fan and admits it freely.  If that is not your cup of tea, avoid it and it will be easier.

I guess I need to go back and watch the dates yet again (what a hardship!  ), because I am pretty certain that Andi has said more about her connection with Josh than just physical chemistry, especially the last two dates. The "edit" is catching up to what the reality has probably been for most of their journey in my opinion.

She has talked about him as a father, how much fun he is.  It hasn't been just the physical connection.  You are totally right in this.  I don't think she has talked about a mental connection, which is something that has been specifically mentioned about Nick multiple times.  Again, I don't know that it means anything as the editing monkeys are having a lot of fun.  The preview of the finale with a screen cap of him in white shorts and lavendar shirt, which is what he is wearing during his F3 RC video to Andi.  So truthfully, if she said it they may have left it out.  If she didn't say it and she pick Josh anyway, then it obviously isn't that important to Andi. 

I am not a Andi with Josh fan, but I would not sweat this little detail if I was.  It is simply Sharleen's observation and to her something that would be very important.  It might be less so to Andi or Andi covered it and the monkeys left it out.

Maybe but Brooks and Josh are like apples and oranges. I just feel like we can't interchange everybody's F1 and F2. Each experience is totally different IMO.

None us can say 100% which guy is better for Andi but at least Sharleen knows Andi so her opinion shouldn't be totally disregarded IMO. I hope it goes beyond chemistry for Andi if she does choose Josh.
