So did Josh give Andi a gift on their fantasy date?

I think Andi did give Josh a gift by maybe telling him he's the one (like Josh going being uncertain about the other relationships she has with others to being 100% sure that he's gonna marry her etc.).

This actually makes it worse to me.  I understand that need to MTP, but if she was so gone over Josh already, then why go all the way through with LCD with Nick?  I understand they have a game to play, I guess I had hoped that maybe TPTB did have a heart after Ben's rejection and let the F2 go early.  She let Chris go before the evening of FD, so why not let Nick go at the evening portion of LCD if she has already told Josh he is it?

How many times has that happen in the gazillion seasons I wish it was the case this time but it's not.

No one knows what she did or didn't tell Josh in the FS. TPTB also may have told her she could let Chris go so she didn't have to take him to the FS but had to keep Nick until before the FRC. I have no clue on any of this but it's as good a guess as everyone else.

This is based on past precedence, which may or may not hold true to this season...

I was told that they make the lead keep F2 if they are considering them for the next lead,  to build sympathy and support for the next season. That's why Ashley not only HAD to keep Ben to the FRC, but also HAD to allow him to get down on one knee and propose. I think that decision ended up backfiring on TPTB, as there was a huge amount of backlash, but it was mostly directed at Ash, when she had no choice.

If they don't force Andi to keep Nick until the FRC to propose, it's probably because he isn't being considered for the lead next season.

I don't know if that's true. I mean, they definitely wanted Chris Lambton, but they didn't have him propose. They definitely aren't considering Nick (and probably never were), but I doubt that has anything to do with it. I think it's just how much drama there has already been. Des and Ali had to go through a really tough F3 leaving, and they just wanted Emily badly enough that they let her do anything.

Am i normal for dreading how hurt would some be if the final 1 is not the one they thought. Seeing how certain some here are makes me nervous. Tell me i don't have to

bililo, I've already been "Brooksed" so I will be fine. If Andi is happy with Nick as her choice, I will come around at some point just like with Des and Chris but I probably won't follow them.

I have grown to really appreciate Des and Chris. I am still hoping that Chris comes back and the whole board except for JBF goes kaboom! Plus, the egg on RS's face, I would be so happy!

If Andi doesn't pick Josh that means he most likely will be the Bachelor IMO so I'm totally cool. Plus, I'm favorite couple is still happy as calms in their marriage so if the side dish that is Josh/Andi doesn't end up happening I'll still be as happy as I was.
