Personally i like Nick but i think the video is the reason why he's getting the bad edit.

I suppose that is a possibility, that TPTB found out about the video and took revenge on Nick during the edit. But, IMO, I don't think so. I think Nick got caught doing something that many F2s do, that is, make that phone call on the final leg home of the trip (no handler). And, personally, TPTB were asking for it, with no handler present. From now on, I think TPTB will have handlers on all legs of the trip.

OK, he was called arrogant, over-confident, strategic, manipulative, over-intelligent, cocky, salty, selfish ...
ETA: called by people who today are saying that he's a great, real, genuine guy - so backtracking their statements, because they realized they were wrong or at least dictated for that particular situation they were living in.

why ... is he called creepy?
ETA: people who find him creepy are basing their opinion on what they see - and still makes no sense to me.
What did he do so wrong that most SM people call him a creep?

Most viewers know nothing about the video so if it's a foiler it's only for one reason, to get RS.

I'm not so sure Nick's edit is due to the plane video. It seems to have been a tame season with most of the guys getting along so they used what they had and Nick gave them a lot to work with. They're more about working the edit and if it didn't play into what they want they're not going to do it. I remember a lot of conversations about how Courtney couldn't be the f1 because she was the villain but I believe they felt they had to use what she gave them and then there was the skinny dipping. She was never going to be liked by the viewers yet she was f1. I don't feel Nick rises to what she did by any stretch of the imagination but it was going to be a boring season without them jacking it up (in their minds of course). I don't think it matters whether Nick is f1 or not because they don't really care if we're in love with the f1. All they care about is drama and a surprise if they can manage it. Even better if they can fool RS along the way. I still think Josh is most likely the f1 but wouldn't be surprised either way.

Honestly, I don't think he is so worried about how this effects his image. He didn't kill anyone. He didn't steal. No physical violence was involved. I didn't hear any real offensive language. I don't think his livelihood is in jeopardy.
I don't think this show is all that popular that he is going to have to go into hiding and assume a new identity. JMOAA

I disagree on one point though. It will, imo, effect his image just a little. At least for me and probably most here. For crying out loud, he actually agreed to being a "puppet" for Tptb??!! Yuk and yikes! Not good.    :vomit:

I don't think he is the type of man to be anyone's puppet. Forget what he said about Josh, which was not flattering, but he called his fiance passive aggressive and stubborn.

If you believe this is foiler, you have to believe all the other clues (and there is a lot) are foilers too.

I know this has been rehashed over and over, but I believe the plane video has almost become irrelevant due to all the other "evidence" out there that points to the real ending. imo of course!   :giggle:

I can not presume to know how Nick's mind works, only my own.
So I will go with how I would see it.
I like to have fun--especially when I am bored. Oft times, it's not the best plan as it could be mischief.
I see going along with mischief as not being a puppet. I see it as me having fun.
It has been reported by many cast as there is a lot of down time. Boredom. You can't do tv, computers, phones etc. Lots of time to talk to those around you and lots of time to cut up.
Again, I don't think this "image" is going to bother him too much, but it is my opinion only.

I take each piece of the puzzle separately.
So if I believe this is a foiler, I'm still going to look at everything else separately. I am not looking at it from the point of rationalization of "if this, then that. There is always so much my b.s. thrown around. I think it has to be siphoned.
There is a saying: throwing chit against a wall and analyzing what sticks.

I just want some clarification: people say Nick calling Andi stubborn and passive-aggressive. Yes, he said "she" was stubborn, and then proceed "if someone was passive aggressive....". He didn't say "she" was passive aggressive, did he?

Thanks Hotmomma. I see a lot of the guys are annoyed with him, but I don't see it as a bad edit, per se - rather, it's their (possibly enhanced producer) feelings about the way Nick talks about the process and his confidence. Nick is not a bad guy... not a villain.

As you note, his SM is very confident. And to me, it begs the question - why would a contestant be posting pics about great dates and make out sessions with the lead on SM if he was F2... and the simple answer, to me, is - he wouldn't.
