I doubt any of these guys wanted to be stripping and would have preferred another type of date so no I don't call that craving for attention.

The events or GDs are planned out by the producers before the season begins filming. Am I right about that?

99% of the filming in not used for the airing.
Yes, the GDR's and all dates are planned before filming.

I agree that Nick's comments were meant to be funny/snarky, but I do think he says stuff like that as part of his "strategy" to disarm and rattle his competition. I have no doubt that he is a great salesman, and knows exactly what he's doing/achieving when he makes the kind of remarks that bothered most of the other guys.

And it's interesting that although he claimed that he couldn't care less about making friends with the others, now apparently he is ALL about the bromances with his show buddies. The worm has turned.

Since this is the Josh thread I'll add that I think Josh handled himself well on the show and appears to be doing the same off the show. He is one cool customer. The F2 really present a good contrast, which is just what the producers want.

Attempted to make it as a professional baseball player.  Attempted to make it as an SEC college football player.  Attempted to win the girl on a nationally televised reality tv dating show.  None of these are private  pursuits that would appeal to someone that doesn't enjoy attention.

If you are a talented athlete, love the sport, and want to pursue that as a career, it's kind of hard to do that privately in your backyard, ya know?  :giggle:  And everyone who appears on this franchise is in the same boat as far as enjoying attention.

^ Considering it appears he was successful at all of the things you listed, then I say hey, good for him. And also considering there are 24 other contestants on this show that isn't a "private pursuit," I would assume they're all in the same boat as Josh.

Right. I think Nick gave them too much good material for them to NOT set him up for an epic fail. It's just too good. As for Josh, not only is he a cool customer but somehow he managed to have Andi act as the contestant around him. Totally different f2s and relationships.

I believe he's just talking about Nick talking too much about strategy on what comes next, what to do next, this scenario, that scenario...in other words, I don't think Josh wants to hear Nick talk further about things that make it seem like it's a game to Nick.

To me, Nick talks around the other guys like he is the only one dating Andi. I think Josh for one just doesn't want to hear it anymore!

Not only attempted, but succeeded in all three.  Talk about knocking it out of the ballpark!   Hugesmile   Professional sports is not only public, but can also be quite lucrative, and it was in Josh's case.  Nobody looks down on getting a college education and even playing sports at the collegiate level while obtaining that college education.  It does take talent and hard work as well.  Josh was one of 25 guys who came on the show, most looking for love.  I think (hope) he truly found it!
