I'm going to defend Andi a little bit, which surprises me a little since I was pretty indifferent to her during JPG's season.  I love that JPG and Nikki thumbed their noses at TPTB. It serves them right for all the crap they've pulled over the years but IMO Andi was right about JPG.  He didn't really want to get to know the girls and Andi wasn't the only one that noticed.

Andi has made a real effort to get to know her guys and be as open as possible. I can't blame her for getting frustrated with the guys "team" spirit and Animal House behavior.  She's serious and focused and she expects the guys to be to.

As for Eric, I don't think he understood  what the bachelorette's responsibilities are to make this show a success.  She has to drag guys week to week that she knows she has no future with yet she has to act like she does.  I think all the leads have to adopt a poker face to a certain degree.  The fact that Eric noticed proved that Andi isn't very good at being fake.  That's a good thing IMO.

I agree, Andi was my favorite on Juan P. season after the argument she lost me as a fan.. I was skeptical of her as the lead, but I will say she has surprised me, she is doing a good imo....

The thing with the FD scs, is that I have a gut feeling Marcus might show up in some because he might be a returnee this season, since his storyline is that he is already in love with Andi. TPTB will milk that and brainwash him into returning, then tell him he could possibly be the next bachelor after Andi turns him down.

I agree with others that have said that if he is on BIP then this will not be possible.

I think (from previous seasons that had BP following The Bachelorette) its the timing of the televised episode with the BP/BIP show. Something about only an F4 could be in BIP but not F3 and F2. I am clueless about those details but I think there were discussions on this seasons prior.
Seems like we will get SCs of either Marcus in DR or Marcus on BIP. Not both.

She was clearly my favorite on JP's season as well but I wasn't very cool with her not being able to take responsibility for her "side of the street" in the disagreement. That being said, we all have flaws and I think one of hers was illuminated in that context. I am enjoying seeing her lower some of her walls this season which I see most acutely with Josh.

I agree, that's part of the job as the lead, but what I found interesting is Eric tried to rationally talk to her about it.  He felt it was her that was the one not opening up.  It was apparently obvious enough to Eric for him to bring it up.  Which is pretty mush the same thing she accuse JP of.

I think it's the exact opposite.  She accused Juan Pablo of not being interested enough to even care to ask about her life.  All he did was talk about himself.  Eric called her out because she didn't talk about herself to him.  I would guess that even though she was impressed with Eric there wasn't a love match which is why she wasn't open with him.    I agree she over reacted.  Sometimes people over react, especially under stressful situations.

In my opinion, that's the exact same reason JP didn't explore with Andi about herself (e.g. her religion); he didn't see a future with her so he had not given it significant thought about whether she would be a good mom for Camila (one of the points Andi brought up).  I think he did the same with others for the same reason with the exception being Nikki as he seemed to know a lot about her including the fact that she was closest to Andi in the house.

It also might be significant that JPG knew that Nikki's best friend in the house was Andi. Maybe he also knew from Nikki that Andi wasn't all that "in love" with him either, but he kept her because she was fun and not in danger of getting her heart broken, and as a favor to Nikki, who wanted her friend to be able to enjoy a free exotic trip. I always felt that Andi's "outrage" at JPG's behavior in the FS was greatly egged on by the producers and had more to do with her "audition" to be the next Bachelorette than anything else. (And since he was already proving himself to be uncooperative, I suspect the producers really didn't care about their lead getting lambasted by this point.)

I don't believe it was all that producer driven considering what I've seen of Andi this season. She doesn't take much sh**. There wasn't any need to audition. She had no competition. I would guess that the producers had her pegged for Bachette long before the FS blowup.

Sadly that may not be possible. The gals that let the F2 guy go early had the F3 bail on them. Perhaps Chris left on his own in which case Nick has a better chance of being let off lightly.

I have a question for the members who truly have no favorites (I admit I cannot be objective this season). Do you all still think something wonky is going on this season, or is it just "it is at it seems"? I am really anxious to hear your unbiased answers!! (PLEASE!!)

One interesting thing to add to the conspiracy theories is something RS said last night during  his Podcast....

He said he got the videos just a few hours after he find out who the F1 was, and how the Snapchat things fell in his lap.
It just seems too easy....   

i like marcus some but am not terribly into the show this season so i'm hopefully not biased. part of me thinks it will be josh, because of the snapchat and nick's video, and part of me could see it being tptb totally messing with RS and the viewers again like they did with des. where we usually get our proof of the spoilers is through SM and i don't remember tptb really messing with that in the past. i've been surprised they haven't cracked down more on the contestants or done a big misinformation campaign through SM. i could see with how they punked RS last time with des that they might take it further this time and do it through SM. their misinfo with des happened thru the edit, especially that mid-season sitdown with CH and des saying she was in love, and all those fake spoilers they leaked right before the finale. there was probably more they did i'm not remembering right now.

from what i'm seeing with andi as of tonite her relationship with nick seems to be on the most solid ground. of course once she has her second 1-1 with josh he may catch up and she obviously really likes him. once we get screencaps for the FD on i think we'll know more. because i'm not invested this season i don't care if RS gets punked but boy did it suck when the viewers got punked about brooks. all in all i think it's too early to say if we don't go by spoilers.

While I like a few guys this season, I'm not a big fan of any. I really don't see anything wonky this season. It seems fairly clear that Josh is her pick. He is the one she is constantly drilling. (While she questions Nick, she doesn't fly off the handle as much with him....hence, not as invested.) Chris is in the friend zone. I see her interest in Marcus sinking fast. She thinks he's hot but otherwise, she seems bored by him already.

I like to know the final 4 but, I make up my own mind on who will be the one based on the body language stuff I see on screen. As soon as I saw Marcus' HTD pics, I called him out. Same deal with Chris when I saw their date on Episode 2...friend zone. She likes him but, has no chemistry with him. That leaves Nick and Josh as the final two. They are really trying to create doubt about Josh but, he is the one that she said is her type, they nailed it, etc on the first night and he is the one I see her really wanting...hence all the questioning and angst with herself. If she didn't want him, he would have been out the door like Eric.

I think what is throwing people off is all the SM hints/clues from RS and the Murray family and because of last season with Des, people are questioning everything. My take is that over the course of the years the show has been on, SM has really taken off. The producers have been getting more and more lax about controlling it and every season people throw out more and more stuff. Some is inadvertent...they don't realise just how much people are obsessed with the show...and some is just because they can't help themselves. So I guess, what I am trying to say is that it seems pretty clear cut to me and I would be surprised if things didn't play out the way I have them figured...which just happens to correspond with what RS has come up with.

this. i've been thinking it must be josh but then with last season with des i really started doubting just recently. i went back to RS tonight and i saw that in addition to the snapchat pic there was a second pic where andi had changed her snapchat username. i'm thinking that has to be real. tptb just aren't clever enough to think of doing that too. it is crazy someone filmed nick's convo on the plane but also with that i think if tptb had done it it would have been much more polished and understandable than it is. so, i think you're right sprite and maybe some of us who got so burned with des are just feeling gun shy.
