I was also speculating on his edit slide which has not yet started. Perhaps he doesn't get a sliding edit but is the "joke" HTD which they have each season and Andi cannot compute and eliminates him immediately after ?

I don't think he does either,(seem like a f4) in fact his edit reminds me more of a f1. This is where I am so confused about Chris' edit, him being so hidden and how this all plays out.... something drastic has to change this week, to change Marcus to a f4. Somehow Chris's is going to have to have a major breakthrough with Andi... coincidentally with the secret admirer letters???

Maybe Andi simply decided to let Marcus go after HTDs because she already knew at that point who her F2 were going to be, and she felt like (out of her remaining F4 guys) that Marcus would be hurt the most if she took him to the FD portion of the show and then sent him home.

Marcus has been all in from the get go, having already professed his "bubble" love to Andi. I don't know if Chris has told her the same thing in those secret admirer letters, if he is indeed the secret admirer, but I kind of doubt it. JMO.

Yes that is the most logical explanation if of course things pan out the way they are spoiled.
However he is not getting an F4 type edit.

Isn't Marcus only 25? I know they asked Dylan if he was ready for marriage, maybe after the lie detector test and seeing him at his HTD, she feels he's just not in the same place as her... Just throwing an idea out there.. maybe he still lives at home with mom and dad giggling

If they continue on with the "Marcus doesn't have a flaw" edit it means 2 things to me....
1) They are setting up his HTD to be an epic fail where his family screws this up for him (which I hate when they throw a family under the bus with a bad HTD edit)
and/or 2) They are hedging their bets as Marcus possibly being the next TB, so they are going easy on him with the edit in case they want to use him/abuse him in the next season.

Marcus is 25/26 which is 2 years younger than Andi, I think. Depending on individual maturity level, I don't think that is a huge difference in age. My husband is one year younger than me and we got married at 25 and 24, respectively. (See, I've always been a cougar! haha!)

IIRC, Marcus played soccer over seas, so I don't think anyone can accuse him of not leaving the nest. Many 20-somethings still live at home with parents; especially in this economy we are seeing it more and more. Andi may look at it more as a judgment of Marcus' financial status. He probably makes less money than Josh, Nick and Chris. Maybe that's how she decides the final order of the last 4 men standing? Who the heck knows!

I think Marcus lives in Plano and his parents live in Dallas.

He might be getting a good edit so that viewers would tune in to watch him in BIP. no idea

perhaps. But in that case, he would be shown more in solo scenes, perhaps with his shirt off Embarressed!

Yet we have had consistent scenes between him and Andi each episode. In fact the placement of some of his scenes is also suspect - always shown as a sort of oasis between some other troubles / drama taking place. Why, if BIP is his only future ?
