Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

These abc.com deleted scenes (posting for those who have trouble watching them) may have some words off here and there. It was hard to catch it all. As usual, I tried to catch which guy’s face was zoomed on when each sentence is spoken… just in case it reflects their storyline.

Episode 5: An end to the bromances

Josh is on his date… Harrison pays a visit to the guys.
Harrison: Hello boys
Chris to Chris What’s up, Chris
Harrison: Fellas come in (as others arrive)…look how European you look!
Patrick: When in Rome…
Harrison: I figured you guys would be worried when I showed up (Dylan shown) but I have no bomb to drop. I am not kicking anybody off. (Marquel shown)
There’s no bad news. I just rarely get a chance to sit back and talk to you guys (Marcus shown) Since I talked to Andi this morning (JJ shown) I kinda wanted to see the vibe of this room and see how you guys are doing (Brian shown, then back to Harrison) Andi is doing good. I am sure you guys know as well as I do, she is really happy…But (Brian shown again) I know she threw a lot on you guys’ lap about (panning Andrew, Patrick, JJ) the whole bromance and being buddies and all that.
Andrew (as Patrick is shown watching): I was gonna say it worried me because I felt that maybe Andi was sort of losing faith in the process to an extent? (Marcus shown at this spot, then back to Andrew) I fear that maybe, y’know, we weren’t serious about it. (Brain looking down)
Harrison: My take is…you are going through an extraordinary situation. You are going to be friends. But at this point (camera pans on Nick on down to Andrew and Patrick) when you get to eleven guys five weeks end, it is kinda time to start (JJ) keeping your eye on the prize (Chris and Cody listening). That was her point the other night and hopefully you guys are. (Marquel and others “definitely”)
Patrick (over shots of Marcus, then Brian): Also this whole bromance thing is moving on. (Back to Patrick and Andrew) You have to remember the end goal which is Andi. And yes we are all friends (Marcus shown, then Dylan, then back to Patrick)…  eventually we will start stepping on each others’ toes and getting upset.
Andrew to Nick: You and Josh are super tight, so you see him do super well with Andi, obviously that is going to be tough to deal with. (camera pans past Dylan and a concerned Chris then back to Nick and Andrew)
Nick: There’s no denying it is not going to get weird. (Chris listening, then back to Nick, then all guys shown)
It is a terrible thing stuck in a suite (Chris shown over this sentence)
…with her on a date with another friend (Nick and guys)
Nick PI session: It is weird but I am not going to be insecure about that. If there is something there between Andi and I that is worthwhile, none of this will matter. So I am going to stay positive and see what happens.
Marcus talking to the group: And after having my 1 on 1 and seeing Josh leave was…
JJ: It gets harder to see her go off every time. (Camera is focused on Andrew, Patrick and Nick, then back to JJ) and to know that they are having that same time and… (shot of Cody) is she going to enjoy it better than ours… is it going to be… I dunno.
JJ PI: Things are going to get more real and you have to step up your game.
Harrison: Who is going to make that step?
JJ PI: I need to do those things and make sure that connection is real and that it is growing.
Harrison: Obviously just keep doing what you guys are doing. You are great guys. (Camera pan on Chris) Just keep you eye on what’s important. (Back to Harrison) I think you guys are now. I think you guys realize things have taken for the serious (JJ shown) and respectfully you have taken things there as well (Nick shown). Good luck this week. (Marquel & others “Thank you Chris”) All right, fellas, enjoy.

Andi receives another secret admirer letter
(obviously Chris if you watched the pre-RC scenes in the recap show)

I got another note from my secret admirer. It is so bizarre to have a secret admirer, but it is fun.

Dear Andi. I realize last week was very tough for you and wish more than anything that I could have been there for you, to hold you, to comfort you and to dry your tears. To make you feel loved, honored and appreciated as I would do for you every day of your life. Being here in France with you is so exciting and I feel like the luckiest man alive (to be here with such a beautiful woman) (last part not spoken on screen)

When someone gives you a note that come from the heart, that touches me. It was really, really sweet.

I hope our time in Marseille deepens and strengthens our blossoming relationship. I love your smile and hope to one day be the reason for it. Love, your secret admirer.

Cute… I keep trying to figure out by process of elimination who it could be and I have no idea who it is from, but I am definitely curious to find out.

A discussion about Brian

JJ:When I hear Brian talk about his date and how he got it, he harps so much about the basketball element (camera pans on Josh) That it is the perfect date (Nick listening, then back to JJ) …if I was in his shoes and feeling like (camera moves back to Nick and Josh seated together) and feeling about the connection that we have (back to JJ) I wouldn’t harp on the basketball element of it.
Nick: Brian is a great guy and his whole… every time someone says he is a great guy, he will be back… (Marquel shown listening)
Josh: It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with her having great feelings and seeing… OK… can this be my potential husband? (camera on JJ and Marquel, then back to Josh but nobody shown over the word “husband”) She could be a friend with Brian right now or whomever it may be, but she doesn’t feel that reason to keep somebody along with…
JJ: I question if Brian would come home tonight, because I feel this week especially (camera moves to Nick) asking herself… (Josh interrupting “That is the big question”) …is there a romantic connection? (JJ, then Nick agreeing, then back to JJ) Is this somebody I can be romantically involved with.
Marquel: Peer point, like, hey Brian is on this 1 on 1 date and she will be, like, able to have a better gauge as to whether (Nick and Josh seated listening) if a romantic connection is there or.. (back to Marquel) it is more of a friendship type of thing.
Nick: And to assume that Brian is a shoe-in, just because he is a great guy, I… you know…
JJ interrupting: She may feel like he's somebody she would love to be best friends with.
Josh: (with Marquel shown mostly) She even told us. Tasos is a great guy and it as tough to send him home, but I didn’t feel that romantic connection and that is what it is coming down to now.
JJ: If she is not feeling a romantic connection with Brian, then (camera moves to Josh) I think she will send him home.

Cody steals Andi away

She is about to pick a rose at the ceremony
Cody PI: This is the most intense rose ceremony in a very long time and all I want to do is talk to Andi right now. I’m gonna do everything I can not to go home.
He interrupts “Before you start, can I see you for a second?” “Sure”
Patrick mumbling: I am thinking any one will deny that was quite bold. (camera pan on Andrew smiling) I will give it to him. I will give it to him.
Chris with a disturbed reaction (as if uncomfortable with Cody staying for some reason). Somebody else says “I respect that”.
Cody to Andi: A lot has been on my mind… and that one thing about the group date where you kinda seemed like you were more involved with the other guys and I try to be a goofball to show you I’m willing to do everything you’ve asked me to do. That’s a group date, you’re taking me on it, I’m gonna have the most fun I can. Of course, I want to steal you away and spend 1 on 1 time with you, but I haven’t had that opportunity and I feel like I have a good chance to go on because I really haven’t had time with you.
Brian PI session: Cody, he doesn’t want to go home without getting to know Andi or Andi getting to know Codi and that is all he wanted. You are not going to move forward if you don’t take any risks.
Cody to Andi: I’m nervous as hell right now. I’m sweating.
Nick PI: Cody went out of his way to talk to Andi and I don’t think that will go well for Cody, because Cody won’t get a rose and… um… I am trying just to worry about me. (smirk on face)
Cody to a nodding Andi: I gave up a lot to come into this. I gave up my clients back in Chicago, my family, put a lot on hold for this opportunity and I have n idea how you feel about me. I have no idea what is going to happen to me, but I didn’t want to go back home to Chicago without saying ‘what if’. I am not trying to change your mind. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I know you’re mind is made up. The biggest thing I want to get across to you is that I am ready to find the right… girl
Andi: Yeah, I see that.
Cody: I mean that. Y’know… I just want to know if you are the right one y’know?
Andi: Thank you for saying what you said. It is something I will definitely take into consideration… and I appreciate you stepping up and taking a minute to say something.
Cody: I don’t know if I am going home tonight or not, but I got to hope for the best and expect the worst, y’know? I’m hear for Andi, so if I don’ get the rose tonight, I am gonna be devastated.

Episode #6 promo

It has to be the reason why even after that really perfect date last night, I am still dragging my heels and keeping the door open for another F1 to slip in.

They seriously had Chris Harrison go tell the guys to start paying more attention to MeAndi? Too freaking hilarious! Desiree didn't have to have her guys told that.

Yes nearly everyone thinks he is F1 including the non-spoiled folks on the other sides.

They haven't figured out who is F2 F3 F4 conclusively yet but the F1 they are all in agreement with.

(Some have said that the HTD is what seals the deal for her I guess because of all the ? she is bringing up repeadedly. )

Courtney (and Vienna) were both the spoiled f1. In Courtneys case there was even a pap picture of her at the FRC - so yes everyone would think that because the spoilers tend to sway almost everyone.

Both were highlighted as drama queens as well as having the connection with the leads.

In this case the non-spoiled who don't know any social media clues, nor the connection between the two familys pre-season etc. are saying that Josh is F1 from what they see on their screens.

He is very obvious edit-wise.

^^^yes but I was among those who really did not enjoy watching Courtney onscreen and was waiting until bitter end for Ben to come to his senses ... even after skinny dipping and dismissing warnings from every other gal in house and looking like love sick puppy who couldn't believe a model would date him.

Just like Jake's season, I kept waiting for obvious bad girl villain to get boot. So that was somewhat surprising for many viewers who were rooting for super sweet nice girls Lindzi & Tenley, who was a friggin Disney princess at one point, right?!?!, to win in end.
