Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

Well I've been scratching my head about Josh from the start.

The story that TPTB is spinning about Josh (reinforced in video and date last night) is he gave up his career in baseball because it was not conducive to having a family (versus that little issue of him not advancing beyond single A). Yet in the past five years this guy who made family a priority in his life at the young age of 23 claims to have not even dated anyone in FIVE YEARS.

That's a long time for a guy that good looking and that charismatic to be a wall flower!

So guess that starting his family was not so important after all? Is it possible he trained to be a monk or a priest??? Whoops, I stand corrected, as I see he went to the very co-ed University Georgia with enrollment of about 35,000 students.  

Anyway this good looking stud of a man ... who managed to stay single through his college ... is so nervous around her that he blushes like crazy and can barely form a sentence when he meets Andi. Yet, fast forward to ep 2 where we see him having no issue swooping in for a very passionate kiss when he had not even had 1-on-1 date. I guess he cured himself of those nerves pretty darn fast!

TPTB show us Josh standing up to evil forces when he pursues Andrew with JJ for getting the waitress phone number. We also see his cave man side as he declares himself to be a "grown a$$ man."  Be still my heart.

Next, get ready to start feeling super sadz for Josh as we see him leaning so forlornly against the bleachers ... and we hear how he HATES to lose. Foreshadowing?

Last night Josh and Andi have a really sweet date ... lots of chemistry ... we hear again how he ended up quitting ball ... and he's not like all the other jocks ... and got his heart broken by an ex girlfriend making out with other guy while he was on the road. He also shares how he doesn't want to say "I love you" again until it means that he's marrying the girl. Did you hear that Andi?!?! Don't you dare break his heart. Don't. Do. It.

Ending scene of night ... we see Josh get sh*t on by seagull while on date and tells Andi ... "see how I take sh*t for you" ...). Wow, more foreshadowing?

So ... are the spoilers correct that Josh is indeed F1 and happily ever after holed up with Andi in Cancun or Atlanta or somewhere?

Or are the TPTB painting the picture and setting Josh up for INTENSE heartbreak with Andi? He will garner sympathy like no other Bachelor candidate has ever had before and slide right into the Bachelor spot with women across the country ... and especially those pretty southern belles (see casting calls) ... to mend his broken heart so he doesn't have to wait another 5 YEARS before he goes on another date?

And get this ... I just googled locations of Casting Calls ... lots of southern ladies, ladies from more Midwest and a few Big City gals. Perfect cast for either Chris or Josh!!

I'm not arguing any of your points, MVMom, especially the "be still my heart" (even though I snipped it), but I thought last night's opening provided some insight into Josh swooping in for a kiss in episode 2. Looks like we weren't privy to their alone time during the GD so we could watch Craig get drunk and make a fool of himself.   

This is Andi in a PI from episode 2, followed by the caps of Andi/Josh's alone time.

Josh is naturally an alpha dude and Andi, that minx, is like the biggest fan of double entendres we've ever had as the lead, and she told us exactly what she wants in a man last episode. So I think Andi naturally sending those "need to be taken right at this minute" signals and Josh's "ready and willing to take the lady" urges are a little too much of a perfect, lethal cocktail.

If Marcus or Chris or Nick was the spoiled F1 and Josh' edit was just a tad different, I would probably be making a strong case for Josh as F1. Just as Des & Chris have TONS in common in the real-world and chemistry to boot (my pro Chres argument last season), Josh & Andi do as well ... grew up competitive athletes, part Jewish/Catholic, southern background, college educated/professionals, big personalities and even look related - plus that undeniably intense chemistry.  

It's as Albean said in Nick's thread ... between the spoilers, SM clues post production, onscreen chemistry and real-world similarities ... Josh would be the most OBVIOUS F1 ever on this show.

So who the heck knows ... it's just a tingle in my gut that Josh & Andi are so perfect together, that they are NOT together and that Fleiss is chomping at bits to make him next Bachelor. It has to be the reason why even after that really perfect date last night, I am still dragging my heels and keeping the door open for another F1 to slip in.

I see what you mean, Josh is so perfect for her, it's unreal and too scary to believe. It's like Andi is feeling right now- too good to be true!

He very much reminds me of Roberto, who I also think would have made a great lead. So if he wasn't f1 (which I'm convinced he is), IA that tptb would be dying to give him the reigns; especially after the disaster of last season, they need a perfect all-American Southern gentleman at the helm, Chris will have to do I guess.

Yeah... um... That was interesting. She said during it how great it was that two crazy kids from Atlanta were in a palace like this. Josh is rubbing her shoulder all gooey-eyed.

Did that suggest they will marry in the future? Hard call.

Last year, Zak W. and Chris S. got it. The former got it in Barcelona when Desiree discussed relationships that grow over time. The latter got it on his hometown when Mom showed her support and Desiree went on and on about Chris being husband material.

Last season... in Juan's season, F1 Nikki curiously did NOT get the rift (unless I missed it), but Sharleen (?I) did... in episode #1!
Sean's season, both Sarah and F1 Catherine got it (on her fantasy date).
Emily's season had THREE guys get it: Arie, Sean and F1 Jef (on his hometown)
Ben's season gave it to F3 Nikki instead of F1 Courtney. That was curve-ball for those of us depending too much on old patterns.
Ashley's season: only F1 JP got it.
Brad's season: only F1 Emily got it.
Ali's season: F1 Roberto got the full version on his fantasy date and... I think... Chris L. got an abbreviated version... like Josh M.
Jake's season may have had a faint variation of it with F1 Vienna, but I had trouble finding it when I searched. F2 Tenley got it full-on during her Last Chance Date.
Jillian's season: F1 Ed got it when her dad discussed him in Hawaii, although it was a shorter take on it.
Both Jason's F1 Molly and "temporary" F1 Melissa got it. Intriguingly, Molly got it while saying she would move to Seattle some day. It "predicted" her future. Melissa got it when she said she felt scared and Jason was trying to put her at ease during the fantasy date, a hint that "something" would go wrong.
Deanna's Jesse got it. I don't know if anybody else did since that season is a blur to me.

Bottom line: Josh may not be the only one getting it. Chris may get it on his hometown like last year's Chris.
