What is your ideal mate's personality like?
Someone who is truly confident in herself and expects a lot but gives as much. Someone who wants to bring out the best in me. doesn't mention outer beauty looks for inner strength
What is the most romantic present you have ever received and why?
100 reasons why they love me. It was genius! likes someone who is thoughtful
What's your biggest date fear?
I don't really have one, but going on a date with someone who ended up having a boyfriend and running into him would suck. confident in relationships
If you could do/have any job in the world, what would it be and why?
It would be awesome to know how to sing and be some sort of performer; to feed off other's people's energy is intense. The feeling they must feel would be cool. Too bad I can't sing. energetic and funny

If you could have lunch with one person, who would it be with and why?
Jim Harbaugh! He has such passion for the game (football) that I love as well. He has had so much success in the most competitive leagues in the world. Anyone with that kind of ability to win could share some great insights. it's all about winning

I was thinking of His Royal Highness today. His batting average with The Bachelor is great. After Jason's toss-in-his-lap ending, he scored four bulls-eyes out of five. Brad's was his one misfire, although he corrected himself shortly before finale time. That means he has a 4 in 5 chance of being correct in January.
Yet his luck with Bachelorette is only slightly over 1 in 4. Jillian's season wasn't spoiled, although he speculated either Ed or nobody. That leaves the following:
Ali: he was 1,000% convinced she left Bora Bora alone and would be available to date him. Then shortly before the finale, he corrected himself. Whoops!
Ashley: Now THAT was a bullseye. Better yet, he took his time and spoiled JP as F1 after episode #2 aired. This forced those who follow him like Jim Jones to actually WATCH the show. He also kept repeating that season "you don't have to believe me, but I stand by my sources", which is all you can say. You have to trust that you aren't being deceived... or Fleiss doesn't has some sort of "surprise" at the end that doesn't fit past seasons. Gotcha!
Emily was 1/2 of a success, I guess. He had everybody up to F4 Chris B. mapped out early. I forgot when he finally decided Jefie, but it seemed like he and Arie were practically the only guys still on the show by then. He certainly took his time.
Desie: I have this image of him listening to Chris Harrison ask the audience "Will Brooks come back?" while filling up with Nick's Doritos.

Based on the bios, Nick appeals much more to me. I thought the "spoiled tape" was telling as well. The fact that he wouldn't attempt to convince her led me to think he is looking for a somewhat equal partnership which is verified by his answer above re: get as much as you give. He's not looking to take care of a princess. If, by some massive twist of imagination, Pookie morphed into a reciprocal partner then I could see Nick with her; otherwise "not". Same would go for any pseudo-princess contestants.
Chris' bio answers don't appeal to me however I can still him fitting "the Bachelor" mold. I can also see him being a very traditional "care for my girl" type... at this point anyway. Lots of viewers want a fairytale and that requires a princess and a mucho knight. Nick is quirky looks-wise and perhaps in some of his actions as well. He's might be more suited to "The Princess Bride". Love that film.

I think it is a bit early to decide who would make the best Bachelor. We have only seen one episode thus far and that was basically a quick meet and greet. Some people take time to get to know and they grow on us as the season progresses. And we have already had a 'quirky" looking Bachelor...remember Ben? :puke:

I think that is the way with how this season ends too. Too much faith is put into what RS has been saying and the "running with it" is getting run away with. I think that objectively, we should look at things again, even though I know we don't have all the sc's, there is some info that is missing, no matter what RS says.nd4reality wrote:I'm not sold on the whole Chris is the next Bachelor just because RS has proclaimed it. From what accounts....RS? I don't think we have sleuthed out whether Josh is F1 or not, and objectively looking at it, I don't think we can absolutely say that Josh is F1 yet. If there is the absolute proof here, I have missed it for sure.Ash2214 wrote:^ I'm certainly not. I would actually prefer Marcus over Chris, but out of the F4, Chris makes the most sense.
Marcus is 25 years old. He may be a mature guy, but I highly doubt women over the age of 29 are going to want to date a 25 or a 26 year old and then possibly get engaged to him. The show would be full of women between the ages of 23-27 on average and that wouldn't necessarily appeal to all middle age or older women and men that watch this show. Although for me at 23, Marcus would be perfect.
Chris is at a good age. Usually, production likes their bachelorettes to be around 26 or 27 and their bachelor to be around the 29 or the low 30's mark (at least that's how it's been most recently). The guy is a millionaire and literally seems like the perfect all American guy. From what I've seen this far, he seems like a sweetheart and I'm going to assume he's come from a good family too. I don't find him super attractive, but it seems like there are plenty of people that do. After last season's fiasco, they want to put on a good season and I just think Chris would be the safest option to give them that.
From all accounts, it does really appear the F2 are Nick and Josh. If Josh is Andi's F1, I highly doubt production would give it to Nick after the whole video incident not to mention for the season preview Nick was heavily shown and they showed him involved in some confrontation with the guys. They want America to fall in love with the guy they want as the bachelor.
It's just my honest opinion, but when I add everything together Chris makes the most sense.

I feel very confident that the final 4 are correct based on what has been sleuthed in the forum.
I'm sceptical after that point and agree that more sc's and info are needed

Aunties, I've seen you pose that question before, and felt I had to answer this time. From my perspective, I have seen what I consider proof. The video of Nick. That goes way beyond taking RS word and blindly accepting it, having no idea what he knows and who told it to him. I have seen proof with my own eyes of at least the F1 and F2 spoilers being pretty conclusively proven (not to mention many other circumstantial clues that point the same way, IMO).
I respect that others don't totally buy it and that's great. I hope you have fun sleuthing and find out things we don't know yet. I'm sure there are lots of details, surprises and errors in the overall season info you great sleuthers will figure out, and I look forward to reading what you find. Overall, I'm sure the video is a bummer for people who like to try to prove the spoilers wrong.
However, it is also highly reasonable and valid to come to the conclusion that the video is proof and I don't think that opinion should be discounted.

I think I can be objective here, as at this point, I have no favorites what so ever.
You have to look at the questions….Nick's question asked "What does your ideal mate look like?" That is why he gave "superficial" answers.
The question Chris was asked was "What is your ideal mate's personality like?"
You cannot compare the two….it's apples and oranges.
Also, I think what Chris was trying to say about beauty fading away was that once we are old and wrinkled, we still need to have qualities we love about each other.

"What I felt for you was greater than a moment" - Nick
"I knew I loved you right away & I didn't even know why" - Ben
"You're my person" - Lauren

Re: Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?
Actually I didn't question his spoiler at all UNTIL that silly video. I have some problems with it, but not getting into a big discussion here. Yeah, we are all free here to accept it or reject it as "proof". I just find it inconclusive... like many UFO photographs. The whole thing seems rather fishy to me, but that is just my "vibe". I guess I would have preferred if Nick specifically state "Josh and Andi" a few times, rather than just a "Josh won't say s**t" and do what ever "she" says (she possibly being Andi... or Amy... or Cassie or...?). We also don't see his face all that much for "expression identification" or hear the questions being asked on the phone.
We are never certain when "proof" is proof until after the show ends anyway. One piece of "proof" I shouldn't have pooh-poohed last season, for example, was Juan saying on his seasonal promo that he "saw my daughter's future" during a screencap of him with Nikki horseback riding. So all of that daddy DVD and "wife/husband" talk with others (especially F2) really didn't matter in the end. (They might marry some day, just not anytime soon... and no ring now.)
The ONLY way to maintain your sanity is to operate on an attitude of maybe a spoiler is right, maybe a spoiler is wrong (Steve is not Nostradamus)... maybe Person A is "F1 material", maybe Person B is... maybe A is future Bachelor material, maybe B is... maybe the lead is genuine, maybe he/she just wants a few months "showmance"... maybe Mike Fleiss likes this season, maybe he just wants to get it over with...
We have a lot of fun here discussing about What Makes A Final One Different Than A Final Two in terms of body language, pecking order in rose ceremonies and whatever, comparisons to past "winners", etc... and every PAST season is viewed with the 20/20 hindsight vision you clearly did NOT have when a show is unfolding (like now) and you had no clue what the end result would be regardless how much it "seemed" at the time.
Right now I am just trying to concoct some sort of storyline for each frontrunner... case scenario of Josh as F1, Chris as F1... maybe once we learn more about him, Marcus as some sort of darkhouse didn't-see-that-coming winner. The only guy who seems like NEITHER Andi's man or next lead is Nick, since the editors are having much-too-much fun trashing him. The moment he is accused of having a "target on his back", the cameraman shows him from the back. That was nasty! And hilarious.
I like Josh with Andi... and they do look like a "couple". I am just not sure what kind yet. All of that sushi and I'll-throw-YOU-in-the-pool talk makes me think they are brother and sister. I hate to keep bringing up Trista's season... but, heck, we can't avoid taking trips down memory lane each season and... who knows?... maybe something-something there has value. (Or not... just like "proof".) Of all the recent contestants on the Bachelorette, he reminds me the most of her F2 Charlie Maher. It is all there: Trista crooning on and on that Charlie is her type. He was last out of the limos and Trista admired his behind as he entered the mansion. Charlie escorted Trista (taking the lead) at Meet & Greet and (I think... have to re-watch on old VHS) talked about mom. (She was one talkative lady on hometown.) Charlie was also fussing about "sharing" Trista on a 1 on 1 date discussion and was concerned about another contestant, Russ (F3). Not sure if Josh has issues with other guys yet, but the promo hints he isn't 100% happy about "sharing". (Not that it rules him out from the running, since some F1s are the same way.) Because He Had That Look, Trista's buddies (who came to grill the guys) stopped the world from turning the moment Charlie was on screen. They pushed Charlie in our faces episode after episode and a "spoiler" was even circulated that she was caught speeding by California cops with Charlie in her car. She did say in an interview a few days later that it wasn't true, but it was thought as "proof" at the time.
Off topic: There was some interesting name business going on in that first episode. We had two Joshes, two Nicks, a Marquel and a Marcus... and Chris Bukowski being rejected at the door on account there were already two of them, Harrison included.
