Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

JBF... Just regarding this..."was 1000% certain Ali F. left Bora Bora single"...Not sure how exactly RS phrased this and am too lazy to go look, but wasn't it it more along the lines of "she was single or it was Roberto" and then confirmed it was Roberto just before the final...not that it really matters.

The one thing I remember RS being 1000% sure of was that Roberto was going to be the next Bachelor and low and behold it was Sean.  

RS was 1000 percent that Brooks was F1. Even up to the last 5 min he said "she is going to dump Chris, and it will pick up at the atfr where her and Brooks are engaged".   And then Prince Siegfried(Mura, that's for you) put a ring on it!

From (weak) memory, yes he initially was sure that he left Bora Bora single. He later changed it to Roberto or not one. At what point he changed his tune I cannot remember but it was later into the season because I remember interviewers asking her about her "single" status. She was definitely supposed to have been single when he first spoiled the season.

The boards figured out that Roberto had, way before he changed his tune again.

I'm trying to find that quote, but I'm wondering if he got disgusted by the number of times it was referenced here... LOL! He wasn't sure in June 2010, thinking a "maybe" Roberto.

I personally believe the video is legit, I don't think that Nick would agree to it otherwise. I do agree IF its a fake then Nick is F1.

So here's my take on that video - what if RS had a spy who he sent to (where did they shoot FRC?) and said spy just happened to get very lucky to sit behind Nick?  Or maybe the person who took the video is a very staunch Bachelor fan/RS supporter and recognized beginning part of the conversation and started recording.  Could also be media/papparazi and said person shopped the video around and RS got a copy.  I have a feeling that RS has started to put plants or his cronies in places where he believes/knows the bachelor especially FRC is taping.  Just my thought, I think he has enough funding now to go to the bachelor/ette location shoot.

IF the video is legit, there are obviously some uncanny coincidences that connected all the dots for RS to end up with it… but me thinks thou mightest have given the infamous RS a little bit too much credit here.   He is not that smart imo or desperate to fund a full fledged spy adventure. (even though I do acknowledge that he personally went to check up on Marcus' date. )    

If your theory is correct, how would 'said spy' know that 'said F2 rejectee' Nick was going to make a phone call on the plane -and talk really loud- when that is a supposed franchise 'no-no'? And how could 'said spy' finagle his way into the seat directly behind Nick?

Keep asking the questions and throwing out ideas though 'cause one of these times, one of us is going to get the right answer.   

I consider Ashley's season his triumph among the 'ette seasons. He was completely up front in his blogs saying "you don't have to believe me but I stand by my sources", etc.

Really that is all you can say. Stand by your sources and hope they are accurate.

The original quote IS missing... and when something disappears and we can no longer find it, I guess we have to start questioning our own memories. Funny thing, his 1000% certainty on Chantal is still floating around when you google. Soooo...

I will simply remove the percentile from our list. Ha ha!

A list that can be updated as the season progresses… and, yes, I have left out of LOT of stuff everybody can add. Only dabbled into this season late in the game and not getting too involved with all of the media “stuff”.

Listing the Nick Vid as #2 evidence for each contestant, since I know how ssssssoooooooo important it is to this forum. The Nail In The Coffin for some.

Josh as F1

Pro: Reality Steve says YES
Pro: Reality Steve has "PROOF": two video extracts. One has Nick saying Josh won't say s**t and do whatever "she" wants. The 2nd has him praising "her" family, hinting Nick met them as part of F2. (Then again, since Hy met the guys in the mansion, there is also the possibility of the family meeting more than the top 2. )
Con: Reality Steve's batting average with Bachelor is great (4 hits out of 5), but he is less successful with Bachelorette. He said he was certain Ali F. left Bora Bora single, was very slow determining Emily's outcome (but guessing correctly by the time hometowns were shown) and stubbornly insisted Brooks for Desiree. Plus side: he got Ashley's right and posted his spoiler after episode #2 was broadcast. This season he may be TOO early in his spoiler.
Con: Promos show he and Nick as the "possessive" ones involved in some of the drama
Con: Andi to Harrison: "The thought that my husband could be in one of those limos and the fact that I could be meeting him in the next ten or fifteen minutes is just crazy." Josh was last out of the limos per The Editing of episode #1.
Pro: Then again, her thought is crazy.
Con: Andi tells Emil in episode #1: "If I wasn't open to moving somewhere else, I might as well not have come here. I might as well stay in Atlanta and try to date someone there".
Pro: Kissing scene in episode #2 looked quite "hot".
Con: Is falling for her a bit too quickly on screen... hardly F1-ish editing.
Con: Doesn't fit the often repeated theme of her going for the "type" she normally doesn't date
Pro: If Reality Steve's "proof" is genuine proof, Nick claims she went back to what she's used to (paraphrasing here).
Con: Key line by Harrison in episode #1 rose ceremony: “If you don’t hear your name, you will be going home immediately.” Josh is shown solo during the second part of this.
On Harrison's "Ones To Watch": Former pro baseball player ... Is he coming all around the world only to realize what he was looking for was 10 minutes down the road?
Pro: This could be a good story theme for the season.
Con: It also sounds like Harrison is skeptical of his motives
Pro or con: The audience cheered when Jimmy Kimmel picked him for Andi. This could either mean he is F1 and everybody approves… or Andi smiles at them because she too will support him as next Bachelor.

Nick as F1

Con: Reality Steve says NO
Con: Reality Steve has "PROOF" (see above under Josh)
Pro: Reality Steve's batting average with Bachelorette (see above under Josh)
Pro: Many, but not all, F1s are not featured in Harrison's "Ones To Watch"
Pro: Fits the theme of her going for the "type" she normally doesn't date
Pro: Has many key “romantic” scenes in the promos
Con: Promos also indicate a lot of drama with him. Hardly F1 material unless he's this season's Courtney.
Con: Andi to Harrison: "The thought that my husband could be in one of those limos and the fact that I could be meeting him in the next ten or fifteen minutes is just crazy." Nick arrives too late.
Pro: Then again, her thought is crazy.

Pro: She focused on him, not Josh, on the group date.
Pro: Upcoming promo date footage looks pretty "hot"

Pro or con: Various "Easter Eggs" in the editing suggest possible F1... or this could all be tomfoolery to deceive viewers: four uses (so far) of the H-word (husband) close to (but not directly on) face-shots (examples: Chris is first guy shown after "Some guy is going to get out of the limo and that can be my husband." and is part of a trio shown after Harrison’s "might become your wife") / gets “great impression of” line when she gives the rose to Nick / When Chris Bukowski tried to crash, each time the name "Chris" was mentioned (actually regarding Harrison), the cameraman zoomed on the security's badge stating #1 / her lines of "bet on the right horse" and "I think I picked a winner" / the Santa Anita couple insisting they looked like a couple / constantly saying she's "so happy" on his date
Con: May be over praising her as the most beautiful woman in the world.

On Harrison's "Ones To Watch": I think people are going to very much fall in love with this guy. He's a small-town farmer from Iowa, fourth-generation land baron. If you say he's just a farmer, you're missing it. He's a millionaire. Very good-looking guy. He really wants to find a wife and live the American dream.
Con: This sounds like next Bachelor material (and the way Chris Lambton was discussed in Ali’s)
Pro: Then again, he may be a lovable F1
Con: No F1 yet has had a 2nd episode date.
Pro or con: Jimmy Kimmel told Andi “no chance you are moving to a farm in Iowa” before she has a chance to respond. Last year, he told Desiree Chris was “out” on account of his taste for almonds before she could react.

So, this video was supposedly recorded on May 11th…….the passenger would have to following RS or this site to know who Nick was talking about and think WOW, I got something here. The contestants/bachelors were not posted by ABC but only spoilers. Can someone truly tell me what the odds would be that a super fan would be on the flight, recognize and know the spoilers that Nick was in the F2 of this season and that he would be talking about the F1 and bachelorette, then think I am going to record this and send it to RS. I would think if they knew all this I would be selling it to the tabloids not RS just saying. The person who recorded this video knew Nick was going to be on the flight, had their video recording ready, and had a plan and was ready to send it to RS. That person could be a plant or it could be someone who spills the beans. (someone in production or paparazzi). I add paparazzi because of Ben and Courtney's FRC a picture of the scene was sent to RS and that is how he knew she won. That is the only rational scenario that I can wrap my head around.

If this is paparazzi then it is legit and Nick didn't know he was being recorded….but abc just might have a paparazzi on their payroll.   

JBF, so that means that Josh has the most Cons and Marcus has the most Pros.  Imo, this goes along with the Astro Chart that is on the non-spoiler side.  The Chart shows Andi and Marcus as the most compatible between Josh and Marcus.  Andi and Josh has a 57%(nott he exact number but close) chance of making it, and Andi and Marcus has a 61% chance.

Only we don't have Chris' B-day yet. Of course those are "generalizations".

Speaking of Marcus... the editors are connecting him with both Eric and Chris in an interesting way. All three, of course, got roses that first week and Andi repeated similar lines of dialogue with each.

Both he and Eric, being the two "international" guys (even though Marcus clearly hasn't traveled half as much as Eric, he still experiments with different languages, etc.) get the "piercing eyes" comment coming from her.

Also this line connects him with Chris: "He's a little bit of an introvert. He stands in the background, but I always see Marcus in the foreground."

In the promos, Chris is out-of-focus in two or three key shots... and when both Marcus and Chris are seen together in the promo, both are in focus.

And Chris is the one Marcus is telling he doesn't trust someone (I thought he said he's demented but wasn't sure) but you don't know who Marcus was referring to. But he was clearly telling it to Chris.
