Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

Des wasn't conventially hot, Nikki and Andi are- their personalities (witchier) is what makes the difference. Nice to know misogyny still rules the day although I personally didn't notice it myself, sounds about right for these producers.

You may be right about the objectifying but I am not sure it's gender biased. I noticed in Josh's intro, for instance, when he is walking down the steps and just happens to be talking about his groin injury, the camera is fixated on that part of his body.

You may be right about the objectifying but I am not sure it's gender biased.  I noticed in Josh's intro, for instance, when he is walking down the steps and just happens to be talking about his groin injury, the camera is fixated on that part of his body.

   So, we have a zoom of Josh's groin, him giving her a lap dance during rehearsal after which he seeks the attention of a few nearby men, plunging necklines courtesy of the stylist, frequent vertical camera pans of Andi's body, and Andi inviting girlfriends to join her to "check out the packages" (or some such, it was subtitled but I don't know if anyone sc-ed it).

We also have the early preview that begins with speed dating clips then stops at Andi standing in a ball gown in perhaps a courtyard followed by a group of guys shouting Venice after which the pace is slower.

That's camera/edit things that have caught my attention.

Looks like the edit try to convince us that Chris is a great husband material , although not necessarily for Andi...

I'm having déjà vu of Ali season where she picked a Hottie Roberto than a hubby material Chris L. The line ' connection that i cant even Deny' was panned over JoDi dancing in a Chres-ish scene after all (Note that On Des's her line over similar scene was involving Husband word)

I get a feeling MF n co Will prolly get lucky scoring this season's Chris, as opposed to Chris L on Ali's, as.. Great Husband potential for 25 girls vying for it

My guess, though, is that we will get a TON of "heat" on screen with Marcus and Nick this week. Lots of kissing in our faces... and LOTS of commentary from her.

It is rather amusing that Eric is the one she "undressed" the most for (i.e. skimpy bikini) and yet they behaved more like "buddies" rather than "lovers" on their date.

There is no "set" pattern for a "final one", especially on Bachelor seasons. Yet in Ali's Bachelorette season, there was a brief scene of Roberto comforting her after her call out of Justin in Istanbul for his girlfriend mess. Apparently the Storyboard Department seems to either "position" or edit key moments of stress for our lead lady right before she meets up with her future F1. Mind you, that might not be the case THIS season. Even so... going back... we had Bentley spinning Ashley into her boo-hoo under the covers (after she applied the Vaseline to her face) and she fusses that this ruins JP's upcoming date, only he "brings her back up" as she and JP go PJ in front of the fire place. Little Jefie goes out for fish'n'chips with Emily at the pub so they can discuss Kalon's "baggage" from the previous night. (Don't you just love how I phrased that?) In Munich, Bryden's departure impacts Prince Siegfried's date and he has to uplift Desie.

Wwwweellllllll... I am well aware that THIS Chris has a date in episode #2 (a no-no for this forum) and appears to have no further dates pre-hometown (although looks can be deceptive when we don't have an accurate "head count" on each group date), but... BUT... not only does Andi praise her date with Chris for making her get over Craig ruining the group date, but she also brings it up a second time at the pre-RC cocktail party. Just sayin'... y'all. Again, this season could be different than the rest and those nasty little trolls on the Fleiss payroll are simply doing what they do best.

(I am also reminded of Daddy Hi making a big hoopty-doo last season about Andi not getting a solo date until episode #6, so she is probably shotgunning to her top choices at the start of the season.)

There was 1 other consoling candidate, Marcus at the GD cocktail party. She said as much at the time.

Your point about Hy is something I would have never remembered.    I think that could be very important. Who she dates early on, how many times, and how often do scenes with them appear in the GDs and rose ceremony cocktail parties.

There probably could be a case built for each contestant. If I had to "typecast" each frontrunner... and I will include deceased Eric here since he is a HUGE part of The Storyline... it would read like this:

Eric = international & inspirational ("love is everywhere")
Marcus = international (they had him "multi-languaging") & hot
Josh = local & hot
Nick = different & romantic (just going by his sitdown in ep #2)
Chris = "average joe" (not hot) & romantic, not international but not local either
Tasos = international & different (not that any of us see "IT" between him and Andi)
Marquel = likes to bake cookies... that "look to the cookie" comment was interesting. Otherwise involved in the Drama.
The rest of the guys are mostly for the ride. Andrew is accused of having a girlfriend, but apparently it was untrue or something.

Now... Eric's passing occurred the morning of the rose ceremony post-hometowns (going by this forum's date) and, from what I understand, Harrison told the guys and Andi about it? It probably impacted everything that happened afterward.

It has to do with the airplane video of Nick and how that would affect Chris as well.

If the Nick airplane video is legitimate, then Josh is F1 and neither Chris nor Marcus can be possibilities.

Reasoning:
Nick mentions Josh by name in the video.
(As well, Nick mentions the name 'Josh' without explanation as to who Josh is,  as if the person he is speaking to would know who 'Josh' is or what "Josh' represents in this season.)

In the video, Nick says that Andi 'changed her mind at the last minute', and that he met her family.
If the video is legitimate, 'meeting her family' proves that he is in the F2.

If the video is legitimate, mentioning Josh by name means that Josh is the other person in the F2.
If the video is legitimate, and he is communicating to someone that he was rejected, then Josh is absolutely F1.

If the video is legitimate - and not part of a complex foiler- then neither Marcus nor Chris can be possibilities.

The only way that Marcus or Chris 'could be considered  possibilities' is IF the tape is a contrived production, or as Alanna put it- "conspiracy".
And IF it is a contrived production, then Nick can not be counted out either.

IF the video is legitimate, Josh is the F1, Nick is the F2. No other possibilities.
