*NO SPOILERS* The Bachelorette 10 - Episode Discussion

about resignation letter ... well there's also this rumor about the ABC job or some talk-show deal going on, so it might have nothing to do with "THE GUY".

about Nick's eye-contact ... despite his confidence he is very shy about feelings and about saying certain words, aware that they might sound crazy in the circumstances they are in and the fact that she "cannot" say it back ... because she has more guys "on the plate" ... beside ... in the promo, he says to his mom that he hasn't told Andi "I love you" yet ... so, I don't think he is insincere (but then I'm totally under Nick's charm, so, I can give you multiple reasons and explanations to give him "right", even when he is wrong I cannot hate him, but I admit he is wrong (like cutting someone's date))

Pepper-- that (him not looking her in the eye) is the main point making me think that makes me question it! Without that Nick diversion, it would be a SLAM DUNK for Josh!
 
Pander-- I don't think the letter by itself would be a spoiler-- only if someone who knows (is spoiled) specifically says, x,y,z happens. If you have doubts-- I'd run it by GA or another mod. I just wanted to prompt discussion.

I was only going to say what was in her letter and to me it wasn't a shut the door resignation. I really have no clue what is her intention at all and she could be moving, just changing jobs, or needing time for all the media stuff. Guess we will find out at ATFR what's up with her or them.

Ok-- I guess the letter could have been ambiguous as to leave it open. I would have thought that Andi would have known (when she discussed her leave of absence) that she was going to have to have media time built in to her schedule after airing so I guess I took the fact that she had resigned as her leaving her job altogether. I also know that some speculated (prior to the season) that Andi might be "in it" for all those after show opportunities. I don't think her resignation points to any one guy, both are fully plausible reasons.

She was suppose to go back end of May but she would still need time off ATFR. It wouldn't surprise me if she's not looking at other opportunities. I just don't think the resignation points to anyone or if she wants to return to her job. I know others would disagree and I'm fine with that.

I totally didn't even think of the producers whispering in Nick's ears that HE's the front-runner! What confident guy wouldn't take that and run? Great points, everyone.

Sure, I can see the producers feeding Nick the line of "you're the frontrunner" and he bought it.  But, this is what I don't understand  If he's studied the show, as he said last episode he has, he would question everything they tell him.  To me, his actions are so overly confident, it almost feels like he made some deal with TPTB for the ending.  I just can't believe he thinks there's no one else Andi might have feelings for.  Unless Andi's also telling him that, which we can't see.

Maybe I'll feel differently after I see him with his family, but right now, the Nick I see on screen seems almost as scripted as Jef.  I don't think he'll be F1, though.  When Josh told Andi he was falling in love with her, her face showed who her F1 is.  That was a huge sign.  I've never seen her smile so big all season.

So agree with this, especially the bolded. I think he is over-confident and way too cocky for me. I like confident, I don't like cocky. I don't see Andi telling him that he is the one. I think he is her backup plan. If she thinks Josh isn't going to propose or doesn't trust the future with him, Nick will be F1 unless he bails.

Peppermom, are you saying you think Josh will be F1 but Nick is her backup plan? (sorry-- I got confused)

He may have watched previous seasons, but may not have known how the producers can manipulate the contestants. We have heard may stories especially from Jason Mesnick on just how bad they can play mind games.

DeAnna's father was flown in for the FRC because Brad said he wouldn't propose unless he spoke to the F1's father, then chose no one. Can you imagine the father thinking from the time he got the phone call to fly to the FRC location, only to watch Brad send both of them home?

Ok ... I'll be quick, don't have much time right now, so what I've came up with this morning is with finally resolving what has been bugging me about Andi's "connection" with both guys Josh and Nick ... I couldn't put down in words until now ... note: it could change the next episode, so I'm not sure if I stand firmly with this statement:
I feel like Andy likes the way she feels when she's with Nick, because he is that kind of person that gives you all the attention you need, so she feels not only comfortable and understood with him, but desired, sexy, needed, ... dunno, ALL ...
but
she has feelings for Josh that just don't fade from the first episode, 1on1 in the 2nd episode, kiss ... she just wants more of Josh ... she wants more from him, she "chases him" (as I read someone describe it), she needs him to be more open, more responsive, more engaging and when he does it (because he does eventually) she is over the mood, ecstatic, smitten ...

I don't know how else describe the feeling I get seeing her interact with these 2 very different men.
If you can give me you feed-back what you think ... maybe explain to me what I've just written, because I hardly understand myself right now.
