Nick lost some points tonight, so mad at him-he's supposed to be F1!!   Didn't like his poutiness, your supposed to impress the girl...like JJ did! He did it perfectly, I love that he re-enacted their previous date AND found a great way to get her away from the other guys on the group date! I'm wondering if Nick is the one she lets go next week? She really likes him, but there's some doubts and she's not trusting him as much. Hello, when a lot of the guys don't like you, that's usually a warning.

I liked Marquel, just not him bringing up the drama on the group date. That whole thing felt scripted.

Brian, good start to the date-like that he kissed her on the head. He lost points cooking, but seemed to end the date ok...although the "food is memories" comment will def. stay with Andi, she doesn't forget a thing.

Bachelor in Paradise...drama drama drama, not sure that one will be worth watching, but Graham is on so I will.

Hahaha! Lost, I thought exactly the same thing when I watched their date. They were so comfortable and easy together. Josh has got to be F1. He is more natural on camera than anyone I can remember on this show. He would be a great Bachelor. But, dammit! They love each other and they can't hide it. giggling

WTH is going on with Nick? The poem?! Ick. I like him fine and don't think he's as arrogant as TPTB is editing him, but I can't see him as F1 with this drama around him. Why would they negatively edit their F1?

Brian's date was cute but nothing even close to the sparks with Josh. Marcus has really grown on me and he has a great romantic edit. He seems steady and strong, sort of like Chris from last year. Wow! He had the best kiss with Andi last night. His constant declarations of being in love with Andi have me a little worried, though. He said it again last night and again in the previews for next week. It's a huge contrast to what Josh said. Something like "in the future, I want to wait to say I love you to the woman I'm going to marry."

On Marquel, ITA on the bolded. It was sad to see him cry. He's a great guy and I love what he said to Andrew. Chris got stuck playing the friend last night by telling her what was up with Nick. I see zero romance with them. I wish she'd given Patrick more of a chance. We found out nothing about him in 5 weeks!

Oh, and the other Josh -- Josh Groban would be my F1. Loved seeing him!

If I had to call it today, Josh would be F1. There are still some things to play out though I think. I really liked their date and the outtakes at the end were priceless. So far they seem like a good fit and they definitely have chemistry. I would also like to watch Josh as the Bach.

Brian is such a cutie. I do think they had a good date even if the cooking part was really awkward. I would watch him as the bachelor also. I don't think he has a shot at F1 at this point. Could change with a slow build though.

Marcus did have a great kiss with her last night but they certainly didn't show much else of them. Andi doesn't seem to mind him telling her he is falling in love with her so maybe that isn't a problem for her.

Chris is the friend F4 to me. Nothing there.

Nick bothers me. I don't get a good vibe from him. I think he was petty and petulant. Grow up. She does seem to like him though but I think last night showed her a side of him she is not comfortable with. I know from the previews they have a fancy date next week but I have to wonder also if he is gone next week. A couple weeks ago, I had him and Josh tied for F1. Now not so much. He could still redeem himself but might be tough. I would not want him to be the bach.

Oh Marquel. So sad to see him go. Loved watching him. Such a cutie and sweet guy. I'm sure he will not lack for female companions for long. I hope he finds a great woman!

always-as for the poem, I thought it was funny he said "Nick" at the end of reading it, like Andi already knew it was from him. She likes her guys to be assertive and take the initiative-Nick didn't because she wanted a kiss after that poem, Brian didn't until she said something-then he stepped it up, Josh certainly did from the moment of their date. Agree about Marcus and his declarations of love. No kidding on Patrick-but his comments after he was eliminated turned me off "she didn't get to experience me" who says that! Rolling Eyes

Since Marquel is off the show can someone tell me if he's on BIP? I'd love to see him in something else.

My thoughts on Episode 5:

Marseille looks like such a quaint city, I would love to visit if I had TPTB travel budget! giggling

I’ve been anticipating Andi’s 1:1 with Josh! Their walk through the city gave me flashbacks to Jilly and Reid buying their picnic lunch in the little market! (OMG, OT but does anyone else wonder why Reid isn’t the Realtor with Jillian on HGTV’s Love It or List It, too?!? I ask myself that question every Saturday!) I think Andi keeps spouting the “I need to dig deeper to see if there is anything else there” at the encouragement of TPTB. I truly think that Andi and Josh clicked right off the bat. The time that we’ve seen has been all cuddles and kisses but I think a lot has been left “on the cutting room floor”. They just seem too comfortable and familiar to have it only be what we’ve seen. Josh and Andi’s dinner portion—I see Andi relaxing and really seeing herself with Josh. She oo’s and ah’s when he tells her that he is glad that he’s there and he hasn’t felt that way about anyone in so long….etc. She also mentioned they are “2 kids from Atlanta; 2 miles apart” and focused on the fact that his walls were down but he had to get her to lower her wall. During the concert, she tells him to listen to the words of the song and responds to his saying this is awesome and I’m so happy with you by saying “Good”. I think that she sees her relationship with Josh very differently than the relationship she has with others. IMO only, of course!

OMG—the drama with Marquel; I feel bad for him to feel “that” is the first thing that people see about him. He seems like a very sweet guy. FWIW, I find it very hard to believe that Andrew actually said this—at least how it was presented. It could be that he said something but I don’t think it was totally as presented by JJ. Btw, why does JJ keep finding himself smack dab in the middle of all of the drama?!? Has JJ been given tasks by TPTB to see if he will follow directions? I am wondering if he might be the guy TPTB feels can be manipulated and molded to do their bidding.

I thought the mime date was cute! I know some of the guys (or should I say Nick) didn’t like it; there seemed to be a lot of sulking and complaining. Good for Andi for noticing! I get the arrogant vibe that the guys were talking about with Nick; again, good for Andi that she notices what is going on and tries to confront it. Many a bach and bach-ette have ignored it and that leads to nothing good so, again—GOOD FOR ANDI for confronting the elephant in the room! Hated Nick’s last ditch effort to pull things back on course with the poem—ugh, and can’t believe how Andi responded to it! I thought Marcus embraced the group date and was adorable miming “nervousness”! I’m glad that he maximizes his time that he has with Andi. IMO, I don’t mind his declarations—I think he is sincere about them and is just being open and honest with Andi—I think she thinks so too. JJ sure does know how to make the most of his 1:1, too.

I felt bad that Brian’s date was such a fiasco! In the end he pulled it back but, it is apparent to me that he is not the F1; I think he’s a great guy but, he’s not for Andi. Might be a good candidate for TB… if Josh or Marcus, whichever isn’t F1, doesn’t want the gig!

The only surprise for me, at the RC, was that she let Marquel go. I thought he was a very sweet guy but didn’t really see him for Andi. I thought he had another couple of weeks though.

Previews: The shot of Andi in the gondola with the hand mask … is it covering up a frown? Is it after sending someone home from a date without a rose? WTH with the lie detector test! Is that Josh saying: why do you feel I’m hiding something from you and then later Andi saying to him …don’t know what you feel? And (probably) Chris saying: I’ve had to lie to Andi since later we see him talking to Andi and saying I was afraid you were going to have to find out about it. It also sounds like Brian is talking about someone playing the game right – maybe Nick? I’m wondering if this is his (Nick's) edit because earlier, Andi questions (to herself) if she is missing something or being tricked (can’t remember her exact words). However, during their date next week, it sure looks like she’s happy when he says he’s definitely falling in love with her. Her tears at the end when she says: I can’t take you to next week—it just isn’t fair; I think this is her letting someone go maybe prior to the rose ceremony because she doesn’t want to lead them on?

Anyway, my thoughts for what they are worth! giggling

sdmom, I'm not sure if you're asking me or not, but, I'll play!

Right now, I think the F4 are:
F1 and F2: Josh and Marcus (I vacillate as to who is F1 but, my gut says Josh. I think this because of the closeness that they both seem to have with Andi-- it is different from the other guys, IMO)
F3 is Nick (because he seems to be edited to be the initial front runner but there are also red flags that signal that he doesn't stay in that position.) and
F4 is Brian (because I like him better than the other guys remaining :giggle:)

I reserve the right to change my mind at anytime though! Hugesmile
