I see where both Nick and Chris could be her head, but only one has her heart and that is what is most important. If they haven't captured her heart by now it doesn't matter what her head is saying. This is another way I thought about head versus heart. We know Josh has her heart but her head keeps telling her it's too good to be true, that he will break her heart. I think that the conflict is not the head being Nick or Chris. Does this make any sense?

I do agree that Josh is getting a TB edit, BUT I think that was in case things didn't work out for Andi/Josh post show.  Whether it's this coming season or the next TPTB would want him BAD.  I'm sure they really wanted Andi to fall for someone else.  As you put it they were salivating over having Josh as TB, but Andi got him first.

I definitely see them setting Chris up as TB in this episode, but that makes sense since the only Bachelors I have really loved were Brad 2.0 and Andrew Firestone.  I like Chris a lot and he is a great guy, but he does nothing for me as a lead. He would probably make it in my top 5 Bachelors of all time.

I do agree that if Chris was F2 he would have a better chance of being the F1, than Nick as the F2.  However I still see him as F3 as I just don't see that "forever" chemistry.

We have all been in agreement with our edit analysis with Nick & Josh. I bet the moderators love to hang out here for respite because the spoiled thread must be a war zone by now! Lemme just be cheesy and say, i love you all! bwahaha   Next season might not be as peaceful and harmonious as we are all now!

At this point, we are viewing Josh's edit, storyline, Andi's "issues" as typical of an F1. I do not wish to enumerate pages and pages of those points. My theory is simple. Based on our analysis, it seems for us, it is incomprehensible Josh is NOT F1. Josh is F1.  Add to the fact that majority of the bachelornation aka past contestants choose Josh as well. (Or at least kind and not sarcastic) He was not assigned the "villain" role but it was "given" to Nick instead. We've established, for me at least, that Nick is not a villain in real life but unfortunately, he is TPTB's "victim". The question is why? Chris H's blog indeed touched on this. He said, did the viewers soften their perception on Nick? Hmmm... i believe quite a few did. Is it the redeeming edit Happygolucky was talking about? Maybe. Would it mean he would eventually be the F1 after a "change" in edit? Redeeming him so that finally the viewers accept him as Andi's. F1?

I would go for this redeeming theory IF they change Josh's edit. When they now turn the tables on Josh. If TPTB turns Josh as the next "villain" while Nick suddenly is edited the knight and shining hero. BUT I do not see it changing anytime. TPTB is consistent with editing Josh as a former unemployed athlete incapable of deep conversations with Andi. When in fact he is a financial advisor who apparently graduated with honors in college. (Why hide this fact?) In contrast with Nick who they successfully showed the mental and intellectual connection with Andi. Josh's edit is not as bad as Nick's . Some bachelornation tweets are mostly sarcastic and implying Nick is a stalker and a serial killer!   Why Nick? Not Josh? Get my drift? Would TPTB actually think the viewers would love Nick as F1 if edited that way? No! Not an F1 edit! Whereas from the beginning till the end, Josh-edit is showing Andi's incessant questioning of Josh.  Nothing that will attract droves of fans to bash Josh on SM (compared to Nick's flagellation on SM)

We see many redflags with edited Nick whereas we see the flawsome Josh as F1.

It really is "too good to be true".

And that precise phrase was my epiphany. The Too Good To Be True Josh...

IT IS ALL OR NOTHING for JOSH.

This season, TPTB'S storyline will revolve around Josh.

If Andi is overcome by her doubts and fears and thinks Josh is "too good to be true", she chooses Nick (or surprise, surprise Chris), then JOSH will be the next Bachelor.

In my opinion, (this is just me) Josh does not get a bad edit because of the Murrays' massive popularity in Atlanta. TPTB will be crucified if they instead assigned Nick's "role" to Josh. They want America to fall in love with "too good to be true" Josh.

America will either fall in love with Josh and Andi as the final couple OR

they will fall in love with Josh and cry with him If Andi breaks his heart! *cuecollectivegaspfromwholeAmerica* Then tada... The Next Bachelor!

Ok, ok, I hear ya! In my opinion, based on last episode is Josh the F1 or the next lead?

With the rate it is going, even if it's gonna be down to the wire between Nick and Josh. The nagging question is what ending does TPTB want for this season?

Do they have the audacity to actually break the million hearts of the whole America when Josh is let go?
That perhaps it really is their objective for us to be heartbroken and clamor for Josh to find his The One...

OR do they want a golden couple following the blissful path of SeanCat and Jash?

Till the FRC I will just be going back and forth with this...

It is all or nothing for Josh. Till the very end I will be torn..

Episode 9 is F1 Josh.... and with the surfacing of Chris as the apparent Next Bach, definitely, Josh is F1!!

But based on previews, the assigned dates and Josh getting the usual F 3 date, it seems to me it is Bachelor Josh...

OK you are now WW.

So much to discuss, but it's really late and I will leave it for tomorrow night.

However, I did want to comment on the part about the spoiled side.  I am sure the lines have been drawn and everyone is fighting for their man.  Everyone is set in their ways and no one is gonna give an inch to the other side.  They are likely looking for every clue to dispute or prove the spoiler right or wrong, but only for their "team".  I can't wait to see if the one that was the spoiled F1 ended up as the F1.  Every time I think about being spoiled next season I think of how peaceful and respectful we all are to one another no matter who we see as the F1, and it makes me wonder if I really want to crossover to the other side.  They have a great group of mods here so I doubts it's anything like Emily's season. I miss my friends that post over there though, but would miss posting with my friends over here. Oh well, 3 more weeks left in this season and then I can worry about the next.

Yes it does, good way to look at it. I still think she likes Nick too, not like she does Josh though...and so Nick would of been her pick if she couldn't resolve her 'doubts' about Josh.

Cari had to laugh over your new name!   Always fun reading your posts! I still don't see Chris being a contender in this 'race' for love, but I do think her perception of him changed a bit after seeing his home/family. I just can't see her enjoying that lifestyle...but kudos for her IF she does pick him!  Plus I don't see any chemistry between the two.

I had no clue who Josh's brother was or how popular, adds a different perspective to this...tptb would def be all over that! They wanted Josh as next Bach, Andi kind of interfered with that...I can just see tptb putting thoughts into her head about Josh, which is why we're still seeing her 'doubt' and Nick doing all those extra things to impress Andi.

GG I'd like to know what some of those emoji's mean too, was wondering the other day when I noticed them. Peanut butter one reminded me of the show Lost, haha.

I have a little too much time on my hands this morning and I'm re-watching Josh and Andi's 1:1 in Belgium   
-- can anyone hear what they say as they are going under the archway (right at 34:51-ish)? Andi is laughing and then says ..., Josh says ..., Andi says "stop it" and then Josh says "...someplace else ... I am", kisses her, Andi laughs and pulls him back for another kiss.
