It's true Nick wasn't in the front row however I thought it was just as bad that she tried to get the other guys to go along with her. I guess she forgot that she led them on also. That's nothing other leads haven't done before but she seems only concerned about her feelings and doesn't seem to have the empathy gene.

IA. It doesn't surprise me she would do that. It's obvious she doesn't want to be embarrassed on television. I can see her reacting like that to make herself feel better IMO. She is the person that needs for people to be on her side.

I think it was a good read too. I think the guys reactions is what really got me. They're not the ones up there having to confront her. They just watched a nervous (who spilled water) Nick have to confront Andi and Andi's reaction. I think they felt for Nick because any one of them could have been in Nick's position.

^ Of course we don't know them, but I would guess since there are people on the forum that don't like them, then they don't follow them here on the forum or on social media. If you do, you can get a small glimpse into their life just like you feel you probably have a glimpse into Nick's life since you don't know him either.

I honestly and truly don't understand the "celebrity lifestyle" that you speak of in regards to Andi and Josh. If they move to California and pursue jobs like Ali has and don't interact with their families and friends then you can talk with me about a "celebrity lifestyle" but since for the past 7 months they have lived in Atlanta in Josh's small apartment, have spent a lot of time with both families now and have combined both friend groups, have jobs that are not "celebrity" like and only post on social media when they're with friends or their families, then I will never understand it.

^ Andi may not have rolled her eyes AT Nick, but she rolled her eyes IN REFERENCE to him. Either way, it showed a total lack of compassion and humility.

I feel like this is a little bit extreme.. it was just an eye roll, after he'd dropped a major bomb. I know I do this all the time about things way less embarrassing. My roommate says something about our apartment that annoys me and I roll my eyes... hope that doesn't make me horrible!

The way the author phrased the whole thing seemed over the top.... but she was that way describing Chris in the coffee shop as well... AND some contestant in this upcoming season flirting with Chris Harrison! Need to find out who that girl is!

^ Sorry, maybe it's my age, but to me an eye roll is an immature response in ANY circumstances. But particularly after Nick bore his soul on national television to try and get closure, for Andi to roll her eyes indicates a total lack of compassion and humility.

Hmmm... maybe? I'm struggling because I can't think of a single person in my social circle or my family that I haven't seen roll their eyes in an awkward situation.

Ashley and lurker11, hanks for sticking up for Andi and Josh.  Nick was far from classy, imho.   What he said to Andi on stage at the ATFR was wrong, and shocked thousands including the guys he did the show with.  People can forgive him and move on, in fact most have, but they don't forget.  Just a reminder, Chris H. did not write the article.  In fact he is very close to Andi and Josh.

Andi chose Josh because she loved him and saw a future with him, not because he was capable of doing media.  IMHO of course.  ;)

Some might "never be convinced Andi is anything but a horrible person."  Sad, imo, but everyone is entitled.  Some might feel the same about Nick.    

I choose to look for the best in people, Nick included.

^ Yeah, a few of us noticed how over the top the whole article was. It was ridiculous how she kind of blasted Andi on the date choices like Andi planned them herself. The author even acknowledged that Andi doesn't plan them, but she still blamed her for the awful dates. Not to mention, a few of her paragraphs had awful grammar and poor structure of paragraphs and sentences. I was an English major in undergrad so I notice these things

To me Andi's actions were definitely soul-destroying.... the fact that she rolled her eyes at or in reference to Nick indicates an immaturity and lack of compassion and humility that I find distasteful and ugly.

I dont think she's a terrible person for an eyeroll and I see where it comes from based on her personality alone.

I think the article has more empathy towards Nick and that is how that person saw it. I don't think the author was overreacting, I think when we have these discussions is where everyone overreacts IMO ( but i can see why). Some people don't see that and I'm sure there are articles written from that perspective as well.
