Episode 9 -- Fantasy Dates -- airs TUESDAY February 25

I noticed that as Nikki was shown walking with Chris H. to the rose ceremony, Andi's voice changed a bit & the background noise of the car was gone. She said (without being shown), "I hope, honestly, for everyone's sake, that he's different with Clare and Nikki, I really, truly do. Because what a wasted opportunity if he's not." This makes me think that she's setting things up for a possible better outcome. JP also talks in his blog about his many conversations that were left out, so it appears they're not showing us quite a bit.

I'm a little shocked by the strong feelings against Andi based on last night. I guess she'd get more respect if she'd kept quiet and just left but most of us have been watching this show for a long time. We know it's not always that easy but I'm not to going to argue the point anymore. Each to their own.  :Nod: 

I really hated how Ashley treated Ben in her season and I was lectured at length on why she had to let him propose. I got over it and Ben went on to problems of his own in his season. I hope Andi has a better one and believe that she'll be popular once it starts. I see more complaints about this season than anything else out there. A lot of people are ready to move on.

Do we absolutely know that Andi is the next ette or is the rumour mill working? I ask as it seems from fleiss's tweets that the verdict isn't in and he's asking for twitter followers to weigh in on their choice.

RS says she's already filming stuff for the show, AL. I remember when Ben was seen around SF filming before his show and they don't hide it well.

Ok, thanks. After last night and her hometown date, can't see guys lining up to date her knowing her personality and her parent's views. I hope more know from first hand knowledge than just RS as he's been less than reliable lately.

She was seen in LA filming….I am sure they are for promos.
Fleiss always asks the viewers' opinion….like he really listens….HA!

Albean99, I have been an Andi fan and am still excited to see her as the bachelorette. I was okay with her being unhappy and expressing it. What bothered me was her not showing it at all in the FS. I would have respected her more if she had said it when she felt it not waited to do it. Her line that she was cringing and waiting to get out of the FS (this was in the WTA preview) annoyed me. She should have said something then. That I can respect.

I think Andi wanted to fall in love, but JPG was not it for her. That is okay, I just think she should have told him when she started feeling all this negativity and not spent the whole night in the fantasy suite with him without any indication she was upset.

Joke apart, I agree with you, Andi should have left the suite when she realized it was not working for her.
But... She needed to put on a show. That's the part I don't like.

I know, see I am so bad I say "It's okay" all the time. I live two hours from Atlanta, I need to be careful, she might come get me.

Seriously, right? I live in GA/SC. I tend to be liberal, but I support the right of people who are licensed to own guns. But, why does anyone in real life not in combat need to use an automatic weapon. If she had been a man, I would have thought she was compensating for her small penis.

I agree with this. I think you have to be very careful what you post on twitter because it can be easily misinterpreted. Maybe she was joking, but it may not come across that way to everyone. Some will think it was a harmless joke, and others will think it was mean spirited. It is sometimes hard to show sarcasm or joking around through twitter posts. Now that she is apparently going to be the next bachelorette, she has to be really careful what she posts or else she is going to get some sort of a backlash and some negative feedback. Also, if Nikki really is Juan Pablo's F1 and they are still together, I think it was in poor taste to post something like that. I just think it is disrespectful to their relationship. I just really wish Andi wouldn't have posted that because I expected better from her.

I do not have a favorite this season which is weird because I usually do. I don't have any problems with Nikki or Clare or Andi. I will be happy no matter who is the F1. TPTB have shown us some good things about all the girls as well as some bad things. I actually like all the girls and I am on board with Andi being the bachelorette. She wouldn't have been my first choice, but I will watch her season and I think she will do a good job. She will probably be really careful to to not do to her bachelors what she perceived Juan Pablo did to her. I watch the season more for the 25+ bachelors/bachelorettes than I do for the lead anyway. No matter who they would have cast as the bachelorette, I know I will be watching. For the record, my favorite was Rene, but I know she would never fly to the general public as bachelorette. I would have really enjoyed her season though! I am glad to hear she has a boyfriend now, and I hope she is really happy!

I just have to say that I was so not excited to have Juan Pablo be the bachelor this season. I just didn't really know anything about him because he was barely shown on Dez's season. This season hasn't been the best ever for me, but it hasn't been the worst either. I really think that TPTB have thrown Juan Pablo under the bus and that has rubbed me the wrong way. They are the ones that chose him, so they should own that and just let his season play out without all the snark from Chris Harrison and throwing him under the bus with such a bad edit. I don't think that Juan Pablo actively pursued being the bachelor. I think TPTB knew what they were getting into when they chose Juan Pablo as the bachelor, but now they are putting the blame squarely on him for not being the type of malleable bachelor that they usually like to have. That is their problem, not Juan Pablo's. I think with him, what you see is what you get. Heck, TPTB came to him. Why would he turn down the opportunity of a lifetime to be the bachelor? It was not like he left Dez's show all heartbroken and going on and on about he is never going to find love now. In some respect, Juan Pablo has surprised me because I can tell he doesn't like to let the women go because he does not like hurting them. That is when he gets all emotional and cries. I think Andi was upset that he didn't show more emotion when she told him she was leaving. I just think it is easier for him to have the women reject him than it is for him to reject the women. For as into Sharleen as Juan Pablo seemed to be all season, he did not show that much emotion or cry when Sharleen asked to leave, much like Andi. I seem to remember Juan Pablo used the phrase "it's okay" during their final conversation as well. Now if Juan Pablo had to wait till the rose ceremony to let Andi go, I think he would have cried and showed some emotion because he does not like to reject them and let them go. For example, Juan Pablo showed more emotion when Chelsie left (he rejected her) than he did when Sharleen left and Andi left (when they rejected him). The big difference was in who was doing the rejecting.

Anyway, looking forward to the WTA and the final episode. It appears that a lot of the women really let Juan Pablo have it during the WTA! I am looking forward to reading everyone's opinions on that episode!
