In her itm's Nikki also took some major jabs at Clare. Let's just say we aren't going to agree on this, but let's also say that Nikki is the "Bitchy" one of the group, and Clare can come out as being over the top sometimes but definately NOT cray cray.

My comment was ONLY and SPECIFIALLY regarding Clare's comment about JP making a mistake at the rose ceremony .. Uncalled for and rude and inappropriate .. A real bitch

They are both bitchy....no doubt with lots of prodding and encouragement from producers for those wonderfully self centered comments. The whole episode was chopped up and clearly edited to death and does neither of them any favours. I'll call it a draw.

Again .. I was ONLY referencing ONE specific scene and the comments of ONE specific person .. That was totally inappropriate .. Real bitchy

As was Nikki basically calling Clare's whole family crazy (who she does not know and has never met)...also inappropriate and bitchy. As I said...a draw.

I agree, both girls have said inappropriate things, but you have to give Nikki credit for at least trying to walk away.

I thought it was interesting that from what we were shown JP seemed more upset about sending Chelsie home than he did about Sharleen leaving. It shows me how much he doesn't like hurting the women. And that maybe he wasn't as invested in Sharleen as the edit tried to lead us to believe.

I don't know about that. The situation was a little different. JP has a hard time with eliminating contestants, I think it was easier for him with Sharleen because she was doing the dumping. He was clearly upset over it.

So glad Sharleen finally left, should have happened weeks ago, so obvious she didn't have feelings for him was just seeing if it would progress over time. had she had stayed thinking Renee would have gone in her place...

Juan clearly cares more about Nikki if he chose her to meet his family earlier then usual. Wonder what Clare's reaction was? Ha! Their date was sweet, kinda how it would be in reality.

As for that fight, I agree they were both to blame. Nikki was smart in getting up and leaving but to say those things about Clare's family was rude. Clare was just annoying when she wouldn't let her get a word in, and when Nikki tried to speak her reasoning, Clare got pissed right back. Was so catty. Still not a Clare fan. Can't wait to see her breakdown at the end!

I really liked Nikki's date. There were some awkward moments but mostly the family visit went well. I do see something between JP & Nikki that I don't see with the others. She tweeted that her outfit was inappropriate for baseball and that goodness for double stick tape.

I was disappointed in Renee siding with Clare & Chelsea. Maybe she's not as nice as I thought.

IA that Nikki shouldn't have called Clare's family crazy. She should have known they'd use it although doubt she thought about that. Nikki is far from perfect. This situation doesn't appear to bring out her best. I do think I'd have been friends with her & Andi if I were there. I like snark. :Nod:
I don't agree with the bolded. The thing is, she's probably seen a lot more of the bad side of Nikki than you or me and that is why she feels the way she does. I don't think that Nikki is all that innocent and nice and tonight showed some of it.

That's fine, it's your opinion. I happen to disagree. I put more store in the opinion of Kelly, Sharleen, & Andi who I like.

BUT, if Andi, Sharleen and Kelly are friends of Nikki, then of course we'd get Nikki's opinion on all of it.

That's a very good point. I never thought about it that way. She basically did his dirty work for him, although, if he had a choice I think he would have preferred if Chelsea and Renee eliminated themselves.

as far as i can recall, her mama is 70smth y.o, with fully grey hair. She has appeared at episode 1, on Clare`s intro. i guess the one on the preview is one of her (older) sisters. Nothing new, IMO. It is Ashley vs her sister(Kristy?) 2.0.

Yes, Clare is "nutty" (for lack of a better word) but Nikki is also very bitchy and the fact that you guys cant see that she was also in the fault just shows how high of a pedestal she's on or how much you truly dislike Clare and maybe even a little bit of both.Frankly, I think they're both annoying and bratty and have acted immature in a lot of the situations we have seen them in thus far. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt to the girls but even I can admit that they BOTH have issues that they seriously need to work on. Yes...Clare is dramatic, catty, annoying, cocky but I could say the exact same for Nikki. They both have attitude/personality flaws. It's a shame because I do like them to a small extent but every episode they both just become more and more insufferable.

And according to a talk Juan had with CH (in CH's blog), meeting the family is not a big deal to his culture (not suprising because latins are very open and chill when it comes to affection/family/etc.). CH actually explained it very nicely.

What CH said was that it is not a big deal to meet the family EARLY ON. I gather form this that is it a big deal deal to meet the family but not a big deal to meet them early in a a relationship as opposed to later. IMO
