I don't recall that. I know they had 2 group dates back to back on an episode. I think that's what you may be remembering.

TheBachelor on fb just posted a new brief promo for tomorrow night- synopsis, Will Sharleen break his heart? Very brief clips of Sharleen talking to Renee, the girls with JP, and Sharleen knocking on his door.

Looks like I might be giving kudos to Nikki for standing up to Clare's confrontation .. Really hope that's the way it goes :)

This is a totally different Juan P.  Nikki gets to meet his family.  Hangout for dinner, where he works but yet he is in love with Sharleen.  Ummm..

Thanks for the sc. Isn't the lead's heartbreak one of the favorite storylines from this show- Graham leaving Deanna when he was f3, Ali leaving Jake, Frank leaving Ali, Bentley and Ashley lol, Des and Brooks and now Sharleen leaving JP. I, too, would be curious to hear an interview with Sharleen. I've already seen a little piece after she attended an event in Canada recently. It wasn't an "official" interview, but I got the impression Sharleen was a fan of the show before her experience, and now would not view the show the same way as before. (Don't remember where I read that, sorry)

Yeah, she's going to love IT.
That's how she likes it-ALL about her.
She sees JP as half of a guy. He's got "baggage", not a package(him & Camilla). She's wrapped up in her own importance. Another's child would take the attention away from her.
She should have left after the first date and NOT lead him on. You always go after the hard to get. She played her game well. Oh the "woe is me...I'm not worthy" cry from her. NOT.
She got way too much time on TV. People like her are way too manipulative for my taste.

Others have posted this (not new sleuthing), but it explains all the emotions. Miami episode was filmed the week before she wsa due in Germany to sing. A hometown date was never an option for this chick ... her family would have thought she was insane. They couldn't have pulled it off.

Her exit was inevitable, and IMO scripted for maximum on-camera impact on Juan Pablo, so he was blind-sided. He probably saw her and hoped for some sexy time, and instead, she pulls an "ED" -- "It's been grand, but I have to go back to work now."

She had a "hard stop" going into this "Bachelor booking," and obviously kept that from him (from production? we'll never know ... she seems like the sort that they'd test drive for lead ... sort of like Emily on Brad's season, rather than someone picked for the lead to choose. So I could see production being aware she had the hard stop.)

All of her emotions and his make "sense" when you factor in the Hard Stop. She's traipsing around the world, getting a free vacation, making friends the girls, and having unexpectedly grand chemistry with the lead, but has this secret hard stop.

And in any event, he can easily "get over" this hurdle, if the others suit him. Goodness, Des is going to marry Chris and probably have a swell marriage, notwithstanding all that over the top Boo Hoo Hoo-ing on the dock in Antigua that her "show" when aired was going to include this dumping of the bachelorette scene.

I think Juan Pablo liked Sharleen and probably thought she would at least be F2, but he has liked Nikki all along too. It doesn't bother me that he is happy with Nikki after Sharleen left. I am just waiting to see if it was Andi or Renee who is the bonus F4 that Sharleen would have been

The producers (the puppetmasters) were setting him up for a C-r-a-s-h all along on Sharleen, who had the Hard Stop referenced above.

To compensate, and motivate the Lead to stay in the game, they allowed a rocket-booster experience for him, in test-driving Nikki with his Miami family and lifestyle.

This is the HUNGER GAMES aspect of The Bachelor, and always has been.

I agree. I think they actually like upsetting their lead a lot more than they used to. It was obvious with Ashley, Des and now Juan Pablo. I don't know if they really new that Des would have the heart break, but with Ashley and Juan Pablo it almost seems like they enjoyed having them experience the being dumped. I never believed that Ashley demanded they bring Bentley back, her demeanor in that meeting when Bentley came back was so disinterested compared to before he left. To me she appeared to be playing out the script that she was required to play to get back to JP.
