Actually, this is what she said, so it is somewhat ambiguous:

"I never had the chance to swim in a warm ocean. I have dipped my feet in before. I have never got to swim in an ocean." So it is up for interpretation isn't it? Whatever, she is hardly 'mundo'.

Oh Geez, the tear apart thing begins. Bottom line though, if the ocean in cali is cold, and she wanted to do a midnight swim in a warm ocean, then Vietnam was her choice. Wish I was somewhere that I could do a midnight swim in a warm ocean too.

I just don't know if you understand the point. There is a difference between being accurate and understanding what is being said.

I guess this was probably dissected a long time ago, but I just saw the countdown to JP episode over the weekend and I even watched it twice looking for clues. There are quite a few interesting combinations of vo and images.

One was JP "I'd definitely rather end up with nobody than having my daughter not be proud of her dad" Followed by the image of one of the women and a vo "are you kidding me."

I also find interesting the advice from his uncle, who calls him Juan Carlo, before correcting himself to family laughter. Patience- which was repeated by JP's aunt.

Right, so it could mean either she has or she hasn't swam in the ocean, we can decide ourselves. But whatever her reason, JP regretted doing it with her.

So what you you all make of the "what happens in the fantasy suite, doesn't stay in the fantasy suite" in the preview? What if it isn't Juan that Clare goes to see but one of the other girls?

IMO it could be as simple as Andi`s leaving. Let`s not forget TPTB always tend to overhype, esp. in the preview.

I think it's Andi leaving. we do have a screencap of Nikki looking upset (don't know if it is from the fantasty date episode). She may have figured her connection with JP was so much stronger than Andi's and if Andi leaves, then she has her nemesis, Clare, with a very strong connection with JP to battle for the final rose. Hmmm.

OK... I finally saw the whole silly promo and took notes. When I watched it initially, I couldn't make heads or tails of it. After going through it a few times, I still can't.

Harrison: Next week on The Bachelor / Clare & Juan jumping from yacht
Harrison: It's a special two day Bachelor event / Andi & Juan under another freakin' waterfall. At least they are staying clean.
Harrison: ... you cannot miss / Andi & Juan greeting at hometown (the combo of Harrison's line with Andi suggests SHE is the primary reason you should watch)
Clare hugging Juan: "I'm so excited you're here"
Nikki VO: This is real.../ Juan and Renee walking in surf.
Nikki VO: This could be the rest of my life / Nikki and Juan on hometown (Yeah... it could be)
Harrison: Two Episodes
Clare VO: Finally time for my love story / faraway shot of Juan and Clare in field

Harrison VO: On the two day Bachelor event... / Clare with head down
Harrison VO: ...that will shock America / Nikki crying (America... and Nikki equally, apparently.)
Clare (continuing from above): I just thought...
Harrison: Next Monday and Tuesday / Renee with tears (Even Renee is shocked and tearful... like America.)
Juan in his yellow again (Andi scene): There's nothing I can do.
Nikki crying as if reacting to Juan's comment. (Poor girl sounded so happy at the beginning of this.)
Fade-out with Harrison: It's the Bachelor like you've never seen before.

What Mister Harrison has to say...

Renee:

"Double the romance" (Here, all this time I was focusing on Sharleen as our host's favorite.)
"We'll find out." (... and she goes "OMG"!)
"Next Monday and Tuesday" (Oh, goodie! We get Renee two nights. Wonder what she does on Tuesday...)

Clare:

"Next week on The Bachelor" (Her and Juan jumping in the water)
(between Clare shots) "Two Nights" (Gee, will they be overnights?)
"On the two day Bachelor event..."

Nikki:

"Don't miss Monday night when..." (Nikki reunites with her family... nothing special here.)
"...that will shock America"
(after her cry) "It's the Bachelor like you've never seen before"

Andi:

"It's a special two day Bachelor event you cannot miss" (Like Clare, she's a Bachelor "event" but one you cannot miss.)
"And double the drama" (Ooooh! The D word!)
"hometowns take a dramatic turn" (D... as in "Dramatic Daddy".)
"... doesn't stay in the fantasy suite." (She is walking about, not staying put.)
"What went horribly wrong?" (Andi, why are you crying?)

Oh Renee, Renee, Renee...

Renee to Juan "I've never felt this way before about anyone." Huh? Contrast this line to Clare's: "I'm, like, loving (pause) I'm falling in love with you".

One thing we never discuss in body language is the episode-after-episode sitting arrangements. It is possible that Juan has been sitting by Andi and Nikki multiple times... I think he was next to Nikki fleetingly at the pool party in episode #3. Last episode had that stand-out moment when he sat between the two buddies. Yet, most of the time, he is either next to Clare or Renee... the latter acting almost like his "chaperone" of sorts.

It is sssssooooo oddball that Renee is playing Mrs. Harrison this season: the armchair shrink... coaxing Victoria out of the stall (and giving up), easing Clare over Juan not giving her the princess attention, coaxing Cassandra to stay twice, talking to Nikki about her concern that Andi didn't get the date and she should just be happy herself to have it, helping Sharleen make the decision to stay or leave... Why do I think Chris and Renee will co-host Women Tell All?

Renee is unique, I must say. One thing that made no sense to me in Miami. During Clare and Nikki's awkward silence, Chelsie had to do her business, Andi was talking to Juan, but where was Renee? Hanging out with Harrison?

Couple tidbits in the last show...

While Clare's "heart" is her father, Andi's is her whole family. Of course, her father gets all of the attention in the promos, when he says: "The person that is going to be good enough for my daughter is going to come to me and say there is no one else in the world for me." (Keep that line in mind farther down this post.)

Andi's worry in the sitdown with Juan is "not having any certainties". When Juan tells her that everything is going to be OK, she looks out to sea "I hope so". Apparently, Andi is worried about something other than Juan... or both Juan and something else. She is nervous about "the failure"... and we assume relating to her relationship with Juan, but are we certain? This whole conversation is peculiar.

We do get back on track to The Main Story when she says she wants to be sure of the end result before bringing her family into this. Of course, this brings us back to her daddy speech above.

Andi: "How do you calm me down so much?"
Juan "I haven't done anything. Just talked to you."

When Clare says the following lines, the camera stays focused on...
1.) first Clare, then Juan with "the man that I do marry".
2.) Juan: "and the man that I am with forever knows how he feels about me..."
3.) Clare: "and knows what a responsibility it is to marry his daughter and be with his daughter"
4.) Clare: "That video is to be watched"
5.) Juan: "by the man of my dreams before I get married"
6.) Juan (voice-over scene): "He put it in the bank vault"
7.) Clare: "and nobody has ever seen it"
8.) Hands together: "and I've been waiting to watch this DVD"
9.) Clare (speaking): "I wish you met my dad, like..."
10.) Juan: "he's an amazing guy"

Misinformation to tease us? Just tossing it out there to chew on. Everybody dive in with their chainsaws!
