Here's a start, but I'm sure other things have been mentioned that I'm forgetting at the moment.

Nikki:
1. Her lack of exposure in the first preview.
2. His first reaction to seeing her out of the limo and later his delight over the fact that she's a nurse.
3. "Nikki is just Nikki" I see bashfulness on both their parts that is not there with others.
4. Hidden make-out in the cave.
5. "Watch out Nikki"
6. Have you seen her bod?
7. She's either has a big ego or has reason to be extremely confident in this.
8. She met Camilla and his family.

Equally compelling
1. Clare's over exposure in the first preview.
2. JP likes that Sharleen is worldy and Clare is the opposite of that.
3. JP- is it spelled Claire or Clare??
4. the "Mistake"!!!
5. her interview to follow that.
6. Claire's getting the physical edit like many F2's before her.

I see tons of signs of upsetting heartbreak in Clare's actions and behavior .. The tears already shed .. Her physical reaction when someone else is in her Juan space .. And the facial expressions she tends to use .. I see the very strong potential of the melt down .. As you refer to it .. Actually being hers .. As she looses grip on what she thought May/shôuld have been hers in the end

ETA : I am leaning more towards a no pick. They have left in so much of negativity for the final 3 ladies that there is no one to root for. The last time they did this was for Brad 1.0 when Jenni though hot chemistry was looking to a dancing career and besides Brad realised that her heart wasn't in it (her ex still had it) and DeAnna was shown to be controlling, mean to some of the girls and slightly OCD.

That's what I hope happens at this point.  Come on Juan, they're both spoiled babies in their own ways.  Seems they want us to be cheering for nobody by the end.  It would explain why they're editing everyone to have a part in the nasty comments.  Why show Nikki in some very unlikeable moments in the same episode she meets Camilla and says she's falling in love with Juan Pablo? I find her and Clare on even footing in terms of turning off viewers with their edits but turning on Juan Pablo, although I think Clare is way more serious about him than Nikki is.  I just don't buy Nikki at all.  

They showed more drama than there really is.
Two competitive girls fighting due to accumulated anger. No big deal.
It doesn't change the way I see them.
Clare obsessed with the thought of being the only one worthy of JP.
Nikki being very direct with no filter in her way to express her opinions.

^^ ITA. If JPab's date with Nikki in Miami doesn't prove that she was/is his choice even before HDs, nothing else will.

I have wondered about that too Litta. My opinion is they got the girls out of bed to film that. Chelsea has on a different dress. The poor girls probably had no idea until the show aired why in the heck they had to do that.

i agree with you to some degree. The way i see it, Nikki got this ` i have the strongest connection` with JP `s edit. JBF has addressed she NEVER see with her own eyes how JPab interact with Clare in a group date setting (unlike the other girls in Vietnam--cough2 row boat sneaky kisses). To me, this looks like a usual `blindsided` F2 edit...waiting for the `boomerang`...in the final episode, aka Ben in Ash season 2.0.

Perhaps Nikki's sad that he let Andi go...she's going to miss her buddy...and now she knows she's up against Clare...her arch rival. It could make for an emotional moment.   

No cap for Renee that I'm aware of for St. Lucia, but don't forget she's from Sarasota...so it could be from the HTD and still look tropical.

im liking all this speculation!   . It makes a lot of sense to me and falls perfectly into one place in my head.   . i certainly can see Nikki blubbering over the fact that her BFF Andi was already gone at F3 RC and was so upset bc of it. I  also can see someone pulling a `Kacie B` this season. Will it be Chelsie?.  (which leads me into subsequent Q : editing-wise, was there any evidence in early episodes that Kacie will pull her act later in Switzerland?..have we found similar evidence regarding Chelsie? it is interesting to be researched further   )

IMO If we were to know how MF`s brain works, we can simply guess that he has this `storyboard checklist`. The most dramatic evah would be a season where they still havent checked one of the storyline, i.e. an act that havent been done in the past. In this case, a returnee telling the Bachelor `the true color` about a remaining contestant and he believe thus goes along with that will be a new/like you havent seen before  :skeptic:  :strings1 

i really think based on edit, there will be a `real shocker` in the end...for Nikki. I throw in my speculation below.

She appeared as a mess to me, in this pic. My take is : They need her to make a PI about foreshadowing what will happen to her later during the show/ in St.Lucia . (this PI was Purposely taken to be used in behind the scenes epis. She had to make a comment about girls left without a rose at MnG. Simple. it foreshadowing that she will be rose-less as well in the end of this (i think JBF has once brought this topic up). I think a PI not necessarily referring to what has JUST has happened at the moment, but it could be a `filler` PI to complete the story--filling the gaps, foreshadowing, etc. I have found a lot of these kind on Des`s season. nbd.  This is likely  taken at St.Lucia, after the fact,, before going back to US (either she bolt or she was booted- im leaning more on the latter).She has to wait until the lead and his F1 finish with their loveydovey 4 days, anyway, so there was plenty of time for them to fill the gaps by shooting these `filler` PIs. Mind you that she HAS TO do those tricky PIs.  Shocking? Not at all.  

i also found intriguing..err..electrifying scenes of Nikki that looks like foreshadowing (in a very2 weird way!  :lala: ) to me :

the weird line was repeated again on this vid from 3:36 : I feel like electrified,,,,I feel like..IDK...i feel like i socked my finger in the light socket.


so..i just throwing fire ball in here and predict that she will get booted at the F2. (before/after LCD/MTP, not sure for now). this will be also a legitimate `like you haven`t seen before`  

Can you imagine being booted at the F2? handsdown it will be the most humiliating experience ever. like being sent to an `electric chair`that will leave the electric jolt forever on you (i.e. your heart).

If ever Nikki does get burned (or electrified) in the end, I don't see her having a nervous breakdown of any sort. Too bad I can't say that with certainty for the impending F2.

Nikki:
1. Her lack of exposure in the first preview.

This is why many felt Chris couldn't be F1 last season. He was everywhere in Des' promos. I think we are beginning to learn that not every season will be edited like Sean's.

2. His first reaction to seeing her out of the limo and later his delight over the fact that she's a nurse.

He did, of course, do that fist in the mouth routine and state "no more limos" after Nikki.

The only problem here was the people.com blog.

As the women in the first limo came out, they were ON FIRE and they were gorgeous. Then the second limo came and I was like, "REALLY? Even better!" After the first half of the girls, I was a MESS because they were all so beautiful that I already lost track of them!

3. "Nikki is just Nikki" I see bashfulness on both their parts that is not there with others.

He does want them to "be themselves". He wants full honesty. At least he THINKS Nikki is being honest with him. Not sure why both Elise and Calre fear that he's getting the wool pulled over his eyes. Sharleen stated in Korea that she is presenting a shinier version of her self. We shall see if this is just catty talk or there is something-something that will surprise him later regarding her.

4. Hidden make-out in the cave.

... and hidden make-out in a waterfall with Andi... and hidden make-out in a Vietnam row boat, pool and ocean...

5. "Watch out Nikki"

Why should she watch out? That line could be interpreted differently. Before he says this, he comments that Nikki is doing all of the talking. He doesn't have to convince her she's falling for him.

Can't argue there.

Not much conversation though. No question of "do you like Juan?"

That is the toughest to get over. Then again, Chris was all over Des' promo... even if Drew might have clocked in an additional screencap or two.

2. JP likes that Sharleen is worldy and Clare is the opposite of that.

You can also add that he likes Sharleen because she is "different" and "honest". Not so sure Clare suffers in those two categories. "Worldly" yes, but I must confess her "I've never been outside of the US" talk is getting old... as if the editors are over-emphasizing it.

3. JP- is it spelled Claire or Clare??

That one DID get a lot of mileage. Juan is hardly a spelling bee genius.

4. the "Mistake"!!!

But why?
1.) Because a romp in the ocean is not something he wants his DAUGHTER to see.
2.) He must be "fair" with the other ladies regarding "time", not how the time is spent.

No mention of whether or not he could be "cheating" on his future F1 if she is not Clare. Even Ben Flajnik was saying the mistake with Courtney's skinnydip was on account of him developing feelings for others. None of this concern with Juan... ON SCREEN.

I don't understand why viewers excuse The Bachelor simply because he is a man for almost reaching the sexual point (and making viewers think he has) with a contestant who might not be The One and the editors gleefully showing it. If a Bachelorette like Desiree convinces Brooks that she was "saving" her heart for him so he will instantly cry on camera and feel very guilty for leaving, many viewers instantly criticize Chris for accepting her in the end since "it is obvious he is her default choice". She and Brooks kept their clothes on the whole time and all of her "lusting" of Brooks was in PI sessions and Chris Harrison sit-downs... and we know how they all fake stuff for the cameras.

5. her interview to follow that.

One murky interview that was hiding an awful lot. She only confirmed the didn't "do it" in the ocean and whether or not THAT was "inappropriate" for Camilla. Yet I do view this as the best "evidence" (sort of) that can be used against the possibility of Clare being F1.

6. Claire's getting the physical edit like many F2's before her.

... and Courtney... and Jordan Paul... and Chris Siegfried if you add all of that beach roll-over action and hot-tubbing... and Vienna

By the way, feel free to also use her line "What the f*** am I still doing here?" line after seeing Andi get the group rose.

This is what I caught in that scene. Right after her PI, we get a shot of all of the women who were booted by hometowns, the exception being Andi at the end. They are cheering from the balcony "Juan Pablo". Renee, Sharleen and Clare are NOT in this group shot.

Great post! I'll add to it:

1. Nikki's career ... he really seemed to be very impressed with her being pediatric nurse. I thought he put her on pedastal in early episodes and was in awe that someone with her looks/BODY (!!) could have such a rewarding and nurturing career.

2. Camilla ... he's looking for step mom for his daughter too and a good influence. I believe that he thinks Nurse Nikki would be both or would not have introduced her.

3. His ex wife is a model and that could be intimidating to many women so need someone capable of not falling to pieces every time they all meet up for events like recital. Nikki is/was (?) model too so she might be better candidate ( at least in his mind).

4. Group date roses ... didn't Nikki get two?

5. This is Bachelor not Bachelorette. Some posters are trying to reason that Clare fits better in his Latin culture world or is most comfortable with couch time. I think Bachelor picks more aspirationally ... the one he puts on a pedastal and is a bit in awe of, which may be why it rarely works.
- Ben picked his model and remember how stoked he was at meet and greet to see her.
- Brad picked Emily even though Chantal would have slid right into his world (and I was among posters who did not buy spoiler)
- Andy picked Tessa who had her doubts vs. Bevin whom he made out with all season
- Jerry picked his nurse instead
- And Jason initially picked more aspirationally or his vision of his f1 before realizing it was Mollie all along.

I also have to add that I have grown to respect Nikki and.love that she left room instead of listening to Clare second guess why Andi got rose.
Andi has long been my favorite ... but not for Juan Pablo ... so if Andi enjoys her company, good enough for me. I would be sick of hanging with Clare too who is the very opposite of "mundo" in having never traveled or even willing to try octopus.

He thinks she is smoking hot and excellent step mommy material with her love for kids. I think she is f1 and has been ever since their 1-on-1. She is a nurse and model ... You can't get better than that.

Clare was on a pedestal in JP's eyes from day one too. I am sorry, I am just not one of the ones that has gone ga-ga over Nikki. Something about her just rubbed me wrong.

Great post! I'll add to it:

1. Nikki's career ... he really seemed to be very impressed with her being pediatric nurse. I thought he put her on pedastal in early episodes and was in awe that someone with her looks/BODY (!!) could have such a rewarding and nurturing career.

2. Camilla ... he's looking for step mom for his daughter too and a good influence. I believe that he thinks Nurse Nikki would be both or would not have introduced her.

3. His ex wife is a model and that could be intimidating to many women so need someone capable of not falling to pieces every time they all meet up for events like recital. Nikki is/was (?) model too so she might be better candidate ( at least in his mind).

4. Group date roses ... didn't Nikki get two?

5. This is Bachelor not Bachelorette. Some posters are trying to reason that Clare fits better in his Latin culture world or is most comfortable with couch time. I think Bachelor picks more aspirationally ... the one he puts on a pedastal and is a bit in awe of, which may be why it rarely works.
- Ben picked his model and remember how stoked he was at meet and greet to see her.
- Brad picked Emily even though Chantal would have slid right into his world (and I was among posters who did not buy spoiler)
- Andy picked Tessa who had her doubts vs. Bevin whom he made out with all season
- Jerry picked his nurse instead
- And Jason initially picked more aspirationally or his vision of his f1 before realizing it was Mollie all along.

I also have to add that I have grown to respect Nikki and.love that she left room instead of listening to Clare second guess why Andi got rose.
Andi has long been my favorite ... but not for Juan Pablo ... so if Andi enjoys her company, good enough for me. I would be sick of hanging with Clare too who is the very opposite of "mundo" in having never traveled or even willing to try octopus.

 Nikki has been on my short list ever since he put his fist in his mouth after she passed him by after limo intro. He thinks she is smoking hot and excellent step mommy material with her love for kids. I think she is f1 and has been ever since their 1-on-1. She is a nurse and model ... You can't get better than that.

I totally agree with the above. I too think it was Nikki's 1 on 1 date when JP started to see her as the 'one'. This is what prompted his regret over his late night ocean swim with Clare.
