But the voice-over "She is wife material (big time)", is not just over JP and Clare the phrase ends with a shot of him and Rene which give a much more lasting impression to the viewer. I would also caution about using previews to deduce the outcome. Previews are designed to mislead and fool.

Mura, comparing with last season, yes it looks like she is F1. But, what if MS changed the game this time? Specially with the surprise last season. I am waiting for next week to see if there is anything about Chelsea. We will see next Monday!!

I think he played with Chelsea (a lot) and then sent her home.......... JMO, of course!

TY for the all responses and additional tidbit/analysis...just to clarify....the analysis above solely based on the PREVIEW...which usually contain key points about storyline and the F1.I havent yet got time to move on to the episodes. So far,from what ive seen, i think too much precise-calculated similarities to last season, both in previews and episodes, so i doubt that they change their edit this season (i mean,why would they? they had successfully duped all the spoilers last time, after all)

just a gentle reminder, for the sake of reliability, when we compare VOs, Vo from preview should be compare with another VO from also another preview, not from episodes.e.g. wife material in the preview is NOT the same as in the episode. WIFE in the preview is the key point, while wife in episodes kinda like `cheap, big sale` words. i lost count on how many times Sean was using this particular word on the episodes for other girls..LOL..

next, whenever i finish wrapping up analysis based on EPISODES, i will drop it gradually.

while i enjoy sharing my thoughts im afraid i couldnt reply each one of your response. i do hope that at least my post will ignite discussions. (my hands are full nowadays and my brain sometimes `bolt` in processing words in English..LOL...)

I agree.  Clare is wearing the same outfit on the group date and at the confrontation with Nikki.  Andi got "special" time with Juan Pablo, and Clare probably comes back bashing Andi.   It does seem that Nikki, and Andi are close, so I wouldn't doubt if the fight started because Nikki was defending her friend.

There are so many times that I have seen that, but then again, some say JP from Ashley's season, Courtney from Ben's, and others were the wack you over the head obvious and they were the F1, so I really can't say that it won't happen again and keeping options open is what sleuthing/figuring out things is all about.

At a completely gut / intuitive level, I simply do not see this guy from a highly educated, indeed prominent, Venezuelan family choosing some high maintenance 30+ year old hairdresser from Sacramento, regardless of physical chemistry. Not a nice way of me to put it, but it really rings true for me. This guy has a lot more going on in terms of class and background than we have been led to believe by the network PR machine. We can pretend that stuff doesn't matter, but it does. Note his attraction to the "Mundo" of Sharleen.

To me, I would think they'd have to do the "surprise thing" more than once in a row for major doubters of RS to do exactly that - doubt everything that RS says so that they can go back to how things were long ago when they had more viewers, etc.

I have to chuckle over this one from Chris Harrison (TV Guide article) regarding Clare & Juan:

"They have this crazy chemistry and maybe that's why he feels guilty because he cannot keep his hands and mind off of her. She could be wearing a burlap sack and he'd attack the girl."

I guess it would be easy to jump to conclusions and assumptions on how it starts, whether it is Clare or not.

He did say he likes 'em classy. And you're right - his attraction to that aspect of Sharlene is obvious.

I do think that looks wise, JP and Clare look more similar than JP and any of the other girls. She is a nice height for him (not tall) and has similar tones in her skin color. The language thing would be a huge plus though I haven't heard him speaking to her in Spanish nor any endearments. Has anyone else ? I would think that would come naturally to him particularly since she would be familiar with some of the spanish endearments. He did for Chelsie on her date and called Nikki Nikki-chikki or something similar at the ball game after party.
Those are the pluses I see with Clare.
The minuses are actually wrt his daughter. Clare has shown a jealous and territorial streak and that won't work with a man that considers his daughter to be his forever valentine. Will she be throwing hissy fits when his he off putting his daughter  to sleep instead of watching the next season of the Bachelor with her ? Those are the problems I see with a person like Clare.

I dont think Clare is all that high mantience and it does seem like they DO have a connection that is not only physical. Also, I think it was made perfectly clear that Clare respects the love and attention Juan gives Camila and was made even more clear last episode. And Juan, honestly does not seem to be this great "catch" that some of you think he is...but ya'know..? Different standards.


And out of all the girls, they'd make the most good looking couple imo. Plus, the fact that she IS latina is a plus considering he said he's only dated one "white" girl before and she'd understand his lingo much better. The edit may have actually not shown their conversing in spanish but she has to know some. That necklace she always wears says "creer" which means "believe/think" in spanish (via her Twitter). Im thinking on her HTD we'll hear some spanish because her mother would hopefully speak a little to Juan(her mom's from Mexico via her Twitter).


Btw: Nikki Chikki does not mean anything in spanish. LOL.
