Andi for Bach'ette?  I can dig it. I'm kinda over this season already. Sure Juan Pablo is nice and charming but he lacks depth. I do think that the season hasn't even really begun. It always seems to be a damp squib at this point in every season where the lead is kissing too many girls, there's too much drama and the edit is making sure that the "signs" don't point to the F1.

We have seen in the past that the obvious contestant is never the one. There has not been a single season where they have laid out the F1 on a platter and given us the "romance" up front. I doubt this season is any different. Or maybe it is   .

OAN - Someone mentioned a tip by veteran sleuths to watch the person that the lead is chasing - particularly for The Bachelor more than the B'ette.
I keep going back to Brad 2.0 with almost everyone was convinced that Chantal was F1. But Brad wasn't the one chasing her. She was chasing him. While he was chasing Emily instead. In each episode, he made it a point to check up on her, making sure she was comfortable, do small little things different with her than he did for the other girls,.
Some folks started also noticed his blog entries about Emily. But 95% of the boards would not change their "seeing the connection with Chantal" till proof emerged with that kids drawing.

Just a thought to mull over while watching this season so far.

Great points!      So, the question is, WHO is Juan Pablo chasing?  IMO, he is chasing Nikki, although TPTB are trying to hide it, BUT they are certainly showing her "brutally honest" (Vienna's quote) personality...a distraction to keep the viewer guessing.   Just as with Emily, the focus was on her story about losing Ricky in a plane crash and is she ready to take that leap of faith again?      Nikki has told JP repeatedly she  is afraid to open up and doesn't do well in a group setting.  Will she open up to him or not?

Well... he broke his silly rule of not kissing. ("I wasn't gonna kiss her but I couldn't hhhheeeeeellllp it...") No telling what happens next episode in the nighttime surf. "I didn't see... like that coming. I just want to go away. I'm not here to make a fool of myself." (Might be too "intense" and "perverted" for Camilla to see.)

I personally do not agree with this commentator's take on Nikki. She isn't THAT negative. Yet this video is a fun recap clip-show for this editing thread.



Oh... another fun video: first part of the rose ceremony. Those who like to match Juan's "voice-bytes" with "head shots" may have some fun here.

Here's the thing. I don't think we can put a whole lot of stock into voice-overs and camera shots Why? I was fooled during Ben's season as to who was Ben's F1. Both Lindzi and Courtney both were receiving a F1 edit, even Bloomers agreed. The edit was wonky. As nd4reality stated we need to watch who the lead is chasing!

Not only that, but Ben's F3 Nicki was getting the proposal guitar rift and twice labeled "wife" on screen. Yup, Ben's season was wonky. That may have been the point. He mostly did the show to promote the grape.

Who's the only girl that has been stated to be wife material so far by juan? I think it's only Chelsie. I don't remember him saying that about other girls.

That he did with Chelsie TOO... and we are still waiting for him to say "wife material for me" (or some variation of that) over somebody.

I just contradicted myself. On that last video I posted, he says "one of you can be MY wife". Nikki gets "one of you", while Clare gets the rest. Ahhhh! But "can be" is not definite.

I agree 100% about season really just beginning. First half of season is all about the drama/spotlighting women that make for good television and then second half of season is about drama (of course) plus the love/lust story (or "let's stay together for 2-months post finale for the tabloids" story). Good news is there doesn't seem to be any ladies at the Vienna or Courtney (or even Tierra) level of gratingly annoying and monopolizing all the screen time. If Nikki plays just a tad bit nicer next week, I will forgive her catty behavior from last episode.   

I also 100% agree about who the lead is chasing  ... and ... on group dates who he leads to secluded areas. If we use Sean's season since he obviously was looking for love and married his F1, there was many group date episodes where he & Catherine were somewhere private during group outing such as their first kiss in the courtyard during cocktail time on ep 3 or 4 plus that time in ep 4 or 5 when it was blue team vs. red team and he still had losing team join them. Sean dragged her far outside of bar and she was snuggling on his lap while sitting on park bench (and pretty sure Daniella spied on them before tip toeing away). Brad also did special things like this with Emily.    

Juan seemed to pull some girls (Andi and Nikki for certain) somewhere private during his soccer date and bet there will be other examples as well.

When handing out the GR in episode 4 he pulled Nikki aside to give it to her. They normally don't do that. Wasn't Andi's given in front of the rest of the group ?

Another one ... while I'd be surprised if she went past F4 or F5/6 spot, he also grabbed Chelsie's hand after the KPOP group date and skipped off with her ahead of other ladies on date.

Yes, since Chelsie's is my fav, I am noticing everything. I actually had to rewind it twice to make sure that was exactly what I saw! He grabbed her hand and skipped off with her ahead of the others. Those two have the easy/playful relationship like Sean and Cat has.

Did you know that CH is following Claire. I thought that was strange! Then again, it could be a set up.

Not only was he grabbing Chelsie's hand but he gave her a look at the group date while they were in the mall. I wish there was a screencap for that. It was a very quick look but it was a look. Which makes me think she may be in the running.
