I am getting the vibe from the editing that season is NOT going to end in a "Real" love story..

So far the "edit" is not being kind to anyone..

I think we say that nearly every season and especially at this time when the drama and the claws all come out in full force. Things will settle down and once the MOT girls disappear the real connections start emerging or fizzling out as applicable.
Not that there is a hope for a lasting connection but if he makes a "connection" that would be a bonus.

Andi for Bach'ette?  I can dig it. I'm kinda over this season already. Sure Juan Pablo is nice and charming but he lacks depth. The converations that take place between him and the women are superficial (purely physical). I am glad he isn't as stiff as Brad Womack. Granted he is more believable than Ben Flajnik being the Bachelor but I'm not really feeling it. I think Andi would draw great guys and I'm hoping she's in the running for the position.

I think Ranee would make an excellent bachelorette. However, I don't see TPTB going for another single parent.

I am not ready to throw in towel yet! What I enjoyed so much about Sean's season as that I really liked his final 6 (and 3 of his final 4) with Catherine my favorite for Sean. I fell for the adorkable Chris right from the start and enjoyed watching their connection blossom and the spoilers being WRONG!

But ... I am a not "in like" with the front runners that Chris H repeatedly references. Nikki's commentary and interactions with other girls last night soured me and I have never been a clingy Clare fan. Sharleen seems to be there for her career yet at same time I found it odd that a professional singer with a Masters in Music was shy about singing (?!?!). If these three end up his F3, I will have no horse in race unless Nikki shows a fresh fun side and Sharleen attempts a Mary Poppins impression.

I am guessing his other top ladies are the other four he kissed: Andi, Chelsie, Kat and Cassandra. I am rooting for their connections to blossom except possibly Andi as I would love to see her go at F3 so she can get prepped for her Bachelorette reign.

As Grace and others have noted up thread, I wrote off Clare as F1 for same reason I had initially thought Brooks would not be F1 ... excessively obvious in opening episode's season previews plus too much screen time upfront. But ... you never know how TPTB will change it up this season after keeping Catherine hidden for half of Sean's season. If Clare is F1 than she might be a default F1 cause while they have a fine connection, it sure does not need to be hidden.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if the ladies we have written off as MOT transform into front runners by final four?!?

I must confess that I have grown rather fond of Clingy, Desperate, Sobbing and Anal-retentive Clare, the one a couple of us here suspect is Zeee Won. (I still haven't checked Steve's site to see if his pick is the same... and, of course, we all prepare ourselves for any surprises... like somebody leaving and coming back as F1.)

Maybe because I really don't care if Juan finds "happily ever after" or not, that I am OK with any lady with him... although Clare and Renee look like the primary two who wouldn't get bored with him post-show.

I rewatched this video a few times... ha ha! Of course, Andi is the one Chris Harrison is emphasizing the most and, yes, Juan really likes her. Desiree really LOVED Brooks too and chirped so every freakin' sitdown with Harrison... and All-Of-America couldn't think of her with anybody else! When Harrison tells YOU which one you like the most, it is The Law Of The Land! Don't forget that Harrison also said in the TV Guide interview that Sharleen is probably Juan's favorite during this "point" of the show and Nikki is only hated by the girls because she's a frontrunner. Nikki is "cute and sexy" here per Juan and he does giggle a bit, but I am not impressed with his discussion of Sharleen's singing here... he likes the performance more than the girl. I think Sharleen is the one he is banking on as his easy-to-dump F2 at FRC.

Yet when Juan talks about that stupid scene with Clare and the itty-bitty octopus (tastes like mushroom actually... not much taste at all), he is all flustered and giggly. "She comes to me that morning... " (huge grin with the "comes to me"... would love to get a screencap) "I hope we-don't-eat-octopus!" Then his hands are waving all over the place excited as he tells the tale. You would think they flew the moon or something.

I agree about Sharleen. For a person who supposedly cannot hide his feelings he seem rather cold when describing her.

Thanks JBF for bringing over deleted scenes (and JulyChild too). We'll never know if he talked about other women in addition to the ones Chris H brought up ... or in the case of Nikki ... who Juan Pablo brought up and could not stop grinning about. He LIKES Nikki and yup, your description of how he retold the octopus story with Clare is hilarious.

Two more comments:

- I don't care who JP picks but as a viewer, I want to like the ladies monopolizing screen time so that's why I am hoping to see more fun, witty, smart, athletic, goofy, etc. Wish they kept Lucy longer as she was crack up. If it was up to ME, my top four to watch are my hometown girl Kat, Andi, Chelsie and fine ... add in Clare as I know she's top 4 already.

- And, I know plenty of people, including my inlaws and grandparents, where English is a second language that they had to learn as adult. Just because ESL adults do not have broad vocabularies does not mean they are not intelligent. JP could be a genius for all we know. He kept some smart women on show at least.

Oh... I am not suggesting Juan isn't intelligent at all! I should have worded that differently. (In fact, I did re-edit.) You need a Big Brain just to handle two or more languages!

The language barrier is just an impression I am getting with certain scenes, like the one with Chelsie stumbling in one conversation. The only "issue" here is that some of the ladies are quite colorful in their choices of certain words that cause confusion... although they are quite funny to us viewers with English as our first language. Much of it is editing though. He did say that Andi gets his sense of humor. In any case, Juan speaks the language of LUV.

Yes ... in my book he is the sexiest Bachelor yet. He's got an intensity about him when talking 1-on-1 with the women whom he especially likes that comes across as quite genuine. There's no denying that Juan loves the ladies and the ladies love Juan.
