A few days not a enough time to have clarity on your true feelings and return and genuinely propose to a girl you said you were not in love with a week earlier .

That is true. They did throw Des under the bus with the editing, IF it's not Brooks. In fact, she looks bad no matter which way she goes, except to just walk away.

Unless she comes to some startling realization within herself in a short time that she's really in love or will fall in love with Chris. OR, Brooks comes back with enough realization and remorse that people don't worry about her decision.

CH said on GMA-
"She sat on pier for half hour. Missed signs from him - red flags all the way through .Brooks wasn't feeling it like she was".
Other two didn't know what happened with Brooks .

Bach Clip -
Brooks didn't know until hometown dates that he wasn't ready for marriage and wasn't in love with her. Broke her heart when he said those things to her she said.

CH said she would have picked him had he stayed.

After seeing CH interview no way is she picking one of the other guys .
Brooks will return - but really after all that's happened and CH saying again how he just did not reciprocate her feelings , not good sign for long term happily ever after .. Jmo

Well we have 2 opposing scenarios here. Does a guy who has spent the better part of 3 weeks trying to figure out how to break up with the girl change his mind and propose in a weeks time ? Or does a girl who has closed her heart to 2 great men because of another guy change her mind and walk off with one of them.
Does she end up alone (she should IMO).

BTW - Besides the tears and sadness in Des I saw flashes of anger in her. If it was just sadness, she could get over it. But the anger will be harder for her to deal with next week when he comes back. (I should say if he comes back because there is no proof so far).

Apparently the ring of the first guy at the FRC has his ring engraved with 'This is Forever'.
I can't remember where that came from, Wetpaint, maybe?

I think some proof he comes back are the VOs we've heard during the season that say, "I am in love with Des" which was like a revelation and "I'm as in love as I've ever been" which also could be an indicator that he realized that he feels the way about her that he must have about the woman he was close to marrying in the past. Many people believe that is Brooks saying those things, and I agree, especially with the first. Also, the close up SC of him crying...why show that for starters, and why such a close up shot to basically hide everything since everyone knows he broke up with her, and was supposedly leaving.

His return is tied to what CH pointed out about HTDs, and specifically what questions his two brothers asked him. It will come full circle.

I also still wonder why Des made the comment about her AC hot tub moment with Brooks in her blog from an episode that did not show it. Why? Possibly to thwart hurt feelings when he would see her in the FD hot tub with Chris and begin imagining what could have/may have happened? no idea

oh, interesting. thanks for explaining. that would be chris most likely with "feelings eternal" or "love eternal" or whatever he said in that poem when he first said he loved her.

i feel badly for chris. he's a good guy and deserves someone who loves him completely.

This is all true. I just hope she doesn't reject him. Brooks would become the "bad guy" she triumphed over.

re the bold those are the "happy tears" des is talking about for next week. we just think she means her tears but i think they are just as much brooks' tears.

I know she said #happytears but there are more tears for her on the horizon than that right ? She is crying while she is with Drew also and then the crying in the pink dress. Are those the happy tears she spoke off ?
