yeah I'm confused why there are no previews showing Brooks return. I just think they'd want to tease us with that...why not? I mean if I saw a preview with Brooks showing up again it certainly would make me want to watch even more.

To me Brooks will not come back right away. We still see a date with Chris so if anything he comes back after that date. Brooks dates were usually last so maybe she lets Drew go regardless because she just doesn't see their futures together. Then Chris has his date then Brooks returns.

I'm not convinced Brooks comes back until I see it....either in a preview or on next Monday's finale.

Theories? I still don't get what happened from Brooks HTD with him saying he didn't want her to leave to the non-FD with him waying he's leaving!

They want the so called shock to pop as I was told. Why give it away? The whole premise is based on what next.

It makes absolutely no sense that brooks is final 1. Coming monday night everyone is going to feel duped .

Actually, it makes no difference to me who any of them pick or how long they do or don't stay together. Seriously. No snark there.
Like anyone else here, I wish people happiness and good health, blessings and strength to get through the tough times.
My own personal life is not effected by the show and I try never to involve myself to that point where it could there are too many real issues for all of us.

Here is what I think happens.

Fleiss has to salvage his season. Des has painted herself into a corner with her words that it is Brooks all along and she hasn't let herself even consider anyone else. There is no way she can choose Drew, no way she can choose Chris without it looking like a total BS set up.

The handlers convince Brooks that he could at least do Des the kindness of salvaging her dignity by going along with this for a few months. We get another Deanna/Jesse promo tour and by the time the next Bach rolls around, we get the inevitable break up stories followed quickly by a "we will always be friends" press release.

It has happened plenty of times in the past (De/Jesse, Nashville couple, etc.) and will continue to happen until this show gets cancelled.

The believers get their fairy tale ending, the non-believers get something to gossip about, and Fleiss is still laughing all the way to the bank as the internet explodes.

I just think from a storyline perspective, this Mon nite's episode picking up literally where last Mon nite's episode left off would be the most compelling.

This Brooks-Des continuation on Mon nite need not have an immediate resolution or conclusion. In fact she might reject him at first, or at least hold him at bay. That would fit in with the previews of meeting Chris H, LCD previews, etc.

I don't mind being wrong, but how do people think it plays out instead?

(FWIW if spoilers are right and Brooks is F1, I think realistically they shouldn't get engaged but just start an exclusive relationship, but ke sera sera. YMMV)
