These sources don't ever seem to have any details.  That's what makes me mad that people are getting their hopes all wrapped up in Brooks/Desiree being together.

I received confirmation this morning from a very reliable source that Brooks is the F1 and the couple is happy.
Quite sure others will be hearing same and reporting such.

Actually, it makes no difference to me who any of them pick or how long they do or don't stay together. Seriously. No snark there.
Like anyone else here, I wish people happiness and good health, blessings and strength to get through the tough times.
My own personal life is not effected by the show and I try never to involve myself to that point where it could there are too many real issues for all of us.

I just heard it too from a reliable source.  Won't say who it is but this person has been 100% trustworthy over the years.  No reason to doubt them.  Not that I doubted Love or San.... but this person just put me from 99% to 100%  sure that Des is with Brooks and happy.  Engaged, not sure, but that's neither here nor there from my point of view.

Here's my theory on what happens. And I'm feeling 100% sure of it. Brooks never leaves. He stays around, regretting his decision and begs the producers for a chance to take it back. Des goes through the F3 pre-chat with Chris thinking Brooks is gone. After that chat, Brooks talks with Des and apologizes. This is when Des lets Drew go...because Brooks is taking his place as a final date. Hence no screencaps for Drew (or not many) for his LCD. Des has a LCD with Chris. There are two men that propose...Brooks and Chris. Chris gets sent home.

Honestly...I'm feeling way miffed for Chris. I hope Des at least has the courtesy to tell Chris how she's feeling and what happened...but I don't know if TPTB give her that chance. If I was Chris, I was be furious watching the show now realizing that Des strung him along, especially after the previous episode and Des admitting she isn't in love with Chris.

Man...this show sucks. Why do I keep watching?

Kasha, I totally understand why people will doubt the authenticity of Brooks and Des, and only time will tell about that. I am curious if you feel that way about Sean and Cat too? I agree that the chances of making it are slim, and Jash was the big exception, but I see Sean & Cat maybe following in their footsteps. I know this is a bit off track, but just curious!

Love can not exist on sugar alone, it would be great if Yawn/Cat moved out of the bubble, got employment and lived real life as some of the real couples have that are still chugging along, I don't see them as having graduated to real life yet. But again, what I think of them has no bearing on their life.

After what was shown last week, I genuinely find that sad.  Des is going to get lambasted for being weak and pathetic all over the media.  And Brooks will not fare much better.  This is why I rarely watch this franchise anymore.  Fleiss will do anything for ratings regardless of the hot mess he leaves.  If this was her choice, everything we saw last week was best left on the cutting room floor.

With that being said, I stand by milk....

I agree SouthernMomof4. They will be lambasted, but I think unfairly. I've posted this before... after a year of dating, my now husband (of 34 wonderful years) blindsided me one weekend with "I'm not sure if I love you." He then came back 2 days later with the most heartfelt letter (including poetry!) stating how wrong he realized he was. I wasn't weak or stupid for taking him back. I think that was the point when he was evaluating whether this was forever or not. It scared him. It only took him 2 days to realize, yes.. this is forever!

And he didn't have TPTB messing with his mind ala Jason and Molly's podcast.

Even Bres fans including me have said its going to suck for Chris. We saw all the conspiracy theories being developed and somehow knew it would lead to a dead end. The one thing that would bother me about Chris is posting that pic that looked like a safehouse pic. Kinda cruel thing to do to his fans if that was the intention. Messing around with something that meant so much to his fans. Just saying!

I was as skeptical as many others about a happy ending for Des and Brooks after Monday night. CH comments have not been flattering about Brooks as a potential F1 at this point.

So I did a little digging outside the boards with " friends".


And it was confirmed that "Des and Brooks ARE in fact together and as of today happy "still". Didn't hear if they are engaged , so I don't know if they are or not.

So the spoilers, wet paint, and RS ARE right -
(as much as it pains me to say that about RS). Biggrin:

1)The spoilers may be correct-she took him back because she's weak, and has no self respect. She's repeating her old behaviors. MF loves to show desperate women. Ouch.

2)they look alike and make a nice couple.

My problem with Brooks is that in the break up he said such indelible, hurtful things to her that I cannot see how in the future her insecurities will not surface. She has made comments about love being painful sometimes. When Brooks said in his PI before he met with her that MARRYING her is not going to happen, the family meeting, no mind of his own....I hope she didn't vomit watching the last episode.

Taking Brooks back after he has some type of EPIPHANY would make a great romance novel.

I feel badly for her. Real life will not be like a romance novel.

TG for the other 2 guys being off the hook, and out of this mess.

For once, I would have liked to see a STRONG woman come out of this and tell the dumper to go away.

I don't believe Des to be weak and lacking in self respect, that is my opinion as yours is the opposite.  Another way of thinking could be that a strong, courageous woman will go with her heart's desire, even if it's possible that her heart will be broken down the road.  A less courageous, weak woman runs, and then may spend the rest of her life thinking, what if?  I believe it taking leaps of faith when the opportunity presents itself.  We have no idea what brings them back together, that entire conversation itself might change some people's perceptions, and then again it may not.  I choose to wait and see but still will applaud her for taking the path that she feels is right for her. I think that's Brooks, but if it's one of the other guys, ok.  They're both great guys as well but from what we've seen, she gave her whole heart to Brooks ... can she go forth with Chris or Drew with less than her whole heart? Time will tell on all fronts.

Wow, just wow, how you see a 45 minute  DUMSPTER on TV as a "what if". I'm sure there are a few more women on this board who share your sentiments. SAD.
I'm sure much more was said, BUT 3 awful sentences can stay with her forever. Come back in a few months( after the honeymoon is over) and tell me that Brooks will marry her, and she'll never have doubts.

I knew you wouldn't like my opinion.   I watched the entire thing, and I also watched the end and how things were already starting to change in Brooks and the 45 minutes we were shown most likely wasn't even everything nor not spliced and diced.  Des herself said, I don't care that you just broke my heart, I loved you...I love you.  I hope she doesn't get her heart broken, nor that Brooks gets his heart broken. But they're together, they're happy now, and the second chance, forgiveness, whatever transpired to get them where they are now could very well be worth it in the end and for their entire lives.  Leap of faith.  Sometimes you fall on a soft spot, sometimes you hit hard rock, but you never know without leaping first.  I don't find my sentiments sad at all even if no one else shares them.
